Super chill place downtown where you can go on a date or with a couple friends. Not great for big groups. Staff is friendly and can be fun! One of our faves downtown for sure.

You have GOT to hit up Drayton (the best bartender in Athens). The man pours with some SOUL! If you want a true Athens Experience, hit up Cloud and ask for Drayton, you probably won’t remember it, but he sure will. His regulars could fill up a Georgia Sideline! Also, the owner Chandler runs this place right and always gives his customers the best experience possible.

During my time there I have wished I discovered cloud before learning about jerzees.Always had fun there and the staff was amazing. Never had an issue, and if they need some customers to behave correctly theyd ask nicely. Always had a great time with the people and bouncers. Servers were way more welcoming than the staff at jerzees. Would recommend cloud to anyone tan what is now some 17 something bar and grill

Best bar in Athens hands down. A great weekday spot that transitions into an energetic environment on the weekends. Great drinks, great staff, great prices.

Great atmosphere with new renovations including a light-up dance floor & VIP booths. The friendly & inclusive nature of this bar makes it a great place to bring your friends.

i went out for the first time this quarantine and was surprised by the level of care cloud is taking in regard to the virus. each employee wore a mask and gloves and there were marked locations to keep everyone from grouping together. great bar

Decent music, cool atmosphere, but Ive been offered drugs almost every time Ive been in here by employees as well as by people who claim to work here.

One of my favorite places to go for years. Highly recommend a tall blonde bomb! Great atmosphere & drinks but an even better staff. The type of place that makes you want to go even on a random monday night.

Never felt more out of place in my life. Bouncers and all made me feel uncomfortable on a simple night out with some friends, just looking to have a couple of drinks. For someone who has been downtown plenty, this is not the place to go. Something has to change with their management/owner in order to put more respectable and adequate individuals in place. Again, find somewhere else to go. Endless options besides something as horrible and ill-managed as this.

This bar is not worth the hype. The staff are rude and i found the environment very hostile. i would not recommend coming here if you want to actually enjoy your night out.

Ive been denied entry here multiple times. Multiple years. The IQ level of the doormen here is a joke.

used to be good. hired wack af outside security recently and began kicking out many more people who would just get a bit drunk even if you werent bothering anyone. a few prior incidents must have freaked the owners out and now they are going over the top with limiting everything and everyone making it much less of a desirable place to go in athens than before because of the many new policies being implemented

Very fun upbeat bar with good music. The Bartenders go out of their way to be extremely personable to everyone.

Best bar in Athens. Incredible water feature and music is always top notch. The building may be a bit dated but management seems to show a heightened degree of tenacity as shown in the numerous upgrades both in and out of the bar. Be on the lookout for continued improvements regarding bar decor and overall infrastructure. Staff is well managed and disciplined. Drinks are reasonably priced and are served by competent bartenders. If you’re looking for an atmosphere unlike any other offered by downtown Athens, this is the place to be.

This bar is extremely clean and very welcoming. I personally love going to Cloud for the bubble wall and they have the best music in Athens. Great way to spend your night if you are looking to go downtown Athens.

Best bar in Athens if you like high energy atmospheres. They play the best music downtown and the bar is never empty.

Sure the bubbles are cool but this is probably the worst bar in Athens. Very hostile feeling place. Unfriendly staff. Im pretty sure all of the employees are trashed while theyre working. Not a very good way to run a business if you ask me. Theres tons of other bars in Athens. Id pick ANY other one.

This is a great place to go !! The recent reviews are not the way this establishment is !! Sometimes, people get out of control and things escalate !! Management does what has to be done to ensure the overall safety for everyone in the building. Cloud is a business, and is certainly not racist, nor a private club, everybody is welcome ! I, and alot of other people that go there, find it very odd that all the reviews before this incident were all positive and saying how it was a great place to go! Its obvious that this incident was not the norm, and there are people who want to defend their friends that were involved. Dont let somebodys negative experience dictate your choices-theres two sides to everything. Jus Sayin...

Any respectable person should not go to this place, 9 bouncers RACIALLY AND PHYSICALLY attacked 2 of the most respectable humble and kind hearted human beings I know. 2 people who help and give back to the community. Would not recommend going to this place!!!

Would not recommend anyone go here. How are you going to be a place of business and allow 9 employees to jump 2 customers? Shouting racist slurs and getting completely out of control. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Clearly you need to restaff your location and teach better customer service and social skills.

This place is not a good bar. They will kick you out if they simply don’t think you’re cool enough.

Fun bar, I only visit on weekend nights. Its definitely for the trendy college crowd of UGA.
