Pool hall chain offering tournament play, drink specials, sports-watching & regular poker nights.
This place is awesome they have an outside smoking area inside they have pulled a bar food they also have a stage with live singers its awesome
Great place, Saw Static X, had a lot of fun. Traveled from Denton to see the show. I will be coming back soon as I find another show to see there. Only complaint would be the bathroom is a bit too small other than that place has a great vibe to it.
Havent been in a couple years, returned recently. Patio out back upgraded, nice with fire pits. Drink prices significantly higher and not that great.
Met very many nice people here. Looking forward to going back. Very nice small venue for shows in East Texas
Good music venue. Bar service a little slow on busy nights but I dont fault the bartenders. Theyre doing the best they can. Need more bartenders or better organization. Outside patio for smoking and fire pits going on cold nights. Bathrooms are tiny. Probably not a problem most nights, but when the place is packed, its a hassle.
Great live bands, excellent drinks, nice pool tables, with a cozy atmosphere. My fave bar in Tyler.
Drink prices are reasonable, plenty of room for smaller shows with pool tables to take a break from the crowd at the stage. And the dedicated outdoor smoking section is very nice.
Awesome tiny place for concerts. Only I wouldnt suggest crowd surfing there...the staff let me fall on my head. Otherwise great venue
Worst experience ever! The attitude of the female staff was poor, they advertised show starting at 8 and the only performance I cared to see I was only able to catch the long song because they started at 6:45. The process to get in the building was absurd to say the least. Everyone in one line and the girl checking tickets couldn’t have gone any slower. This was an absolute disaster of an event I have ever seen.
Worst venue Ive ever been to a show at. Youll end up missing the entire show waiting in line because their system to get in the door is so poorly set up. Will not be back!
Drinks are good and they will go out of their way to make sure you get home safely! Thats always legit with a bar!!
Went to see Simon Young. The music was great, the atmosphere was chill. Great night out.
Blacktop Syndicate just played a gig here last weekend. The sound crew and house treated us really well and the stage was ample in both monitoring and lighting. We had a great set and look forward to returning. Rock on!
Great chill spot to hang out with friends, play pool, listen to music and meet new people. Staffis wonderful especially the night manager Kim!!!!
No really good drink specials on the karaoke night "WEDNESDAYS" and they never tell u how much pool tables are per hour. And the wood at the bar usually smells mildewed
Not a lot of seating inside but at least 10 pool tables, a ping pong table and darts. Much more seating on the patio, which is about half the size as the inside, but also has a TV. No servers on the floor, at least on karaoke night, so be ready to wait at the bar for a drink, which is plenty strong. Younger crowd, but no shenanigans when we went, everyone just having a good time.
Bands all suck. Wish they would just go back to playing good music so you can enjoy playing pool with out a headache from the screamo band.
Awesome venue to see local bands! The sound and light guys are fantastic! The sound for all 4 bands was very well mixed. They have multiple pool tables, a ping pong table and 2 dart boards. Also, a very large patio. Great place!
A little outdated, can use some renovations of interior including replacing old cue sticks and updating/fixing broken game equipment. Exterior can also use improvement including redesign of entrance and sign ext.. Back patio can be improved by having fire pits cleaned out of cigarette butts and broken beer bottles. Overall good environment and friendly staff.
1.fair bar food, pricing high for the Quality.2. poor house stick Selection.3. table are in great shape, that tells me some quality players hit this spot often. ( Must be the reason for the poor Cue selection, The players bring their own)4. Fantastic live Music.🤘✊I would definitely come back and bring my friends, ( Also my cue)
Cool place to see bands and very good mixed drinks. Pool tables, golf game and few others. You can smoke outside in the back of the bar where there is a sitting area with many tables and plenty of nice fire pits going to keep you warm. They even have their version of "Jenga" made out of wood you can play for fun or as a drinking game.
We play pool there on Tuesday nights. The service is horrible. The bathrooms stink even worse than the service. They do have a nice outdoor patio area. One year later. On Monday nights they have a great bartender named Alex. Their live music is not conducive for pool playing. Adding a star for Alex and slightly better bathrooms.
Amazing place, atmosphere was fantastic. All the bands, Nomad, Gods among Men, and Edge of Misery were all amazing :will definitely be going back! And you should go!
Expensive drinks, and non-smoking inside are a downfall to me.. But on the other hand the back smoking patio is very enjoyable, and theres plenty of regulation size Brunswick tables to play pool on for the whole group.
This is one of my fave Hangouts. Its a bit of a dive bar but the people are genuine and the staff is top notch. All the bartenders and security are really cool people. This is good for people who like a heavy-metal meets old school country tavern vibe.Live music is good, just depends on the band I guess. This place is awesome but here is why I said 4 instead of 5 stars:1. Pool equipment. I play regularly and the sticks arent great, the balls are worn, and so is the felt. Still fun just clearly not top priority of the bar.2. On live music nights tends to get a bit loud and crowded which isnt my preference. Its got low ceilings and hard surfaces. Guess it just depends on your taste in live music
Cool that they have big name bands in smaller bar atmosphere so it feels more intimate. Could use more chairs is only complaint.
Very nice place. Security is legit. Whether youre here just to shoot pool and have a few drinks or see a concert you will enjoy yourself. Been here a couple times, and enjoyed it every time. They only sell beer and wine. Capacities about a thousand people. I would recommend going. Nice atmosphere, good people,Good Times.
Fun place to watch live music, hang out and drink a beer with friends.
Having lived in and around for the last 15 years clicks is one of the best venues in Tyler, plenty of pool tables as well as friendly staff. This is the only place around between Dallas and Shreveport that has actual rock and metal musicians, even very big names come through. Thanks to the atmosphere and live music, clicks isnt just a bar its a little community, when you show up regularly, people are incredibly friendly and quickly make friends.
waitress acted as if it was too much work to make a mixed drink late in the afternoon. Good location. Good atmosphere
They expected me to pay a cover charge even though I just wanted a beer.Even though its been a long time I preferred the old Sharkeys pool hall! I went there all the time back in the 80s.I imagine all of the people that were in there that night that I visited werent even born then!
I had a great time there,. I still find Texas COLD in the dead of summer. If Youre not from Texas you might get it. A reluctant state from Outsiders. But yes this is a great place to get to know and hang out.
Small but satisfactory! Clicks Live is literally a hole in the wall, but they use every inch of their establishment to maximize your experience. With a bar in the back and merch tables for performers tucked snugly to the side there was still plenty of standing room to view the local talent and a few semi well known bands. The particular event that I attended couldnt have been better done to be honest. There were thorough checks at the door to ensure that all minors and non minors were appropriately marked and that no weapons entered the premesis. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
I like Clicks it is a great environment with it having a fire pit on cold nights and the smoking area. I like that it is not a small area and that you dont feel like youre on top of other people. They have live music and a DJ some nights and I like the prices. I believe Thursday or Wednesday is ladies night pool free, before 5 free pool, and Sundays free pool. Sometimes some of the lady bartenders can get mouthy and rude besides that I like the vibe.
Ive been going to Clicks Live now for about three months and have to say that I absolutely love it. 18+ bar and you have to have an ID or drivers license. They have karaoke night, giant Jenga, pool, darts, and enclosed outdoor area with fires and lots of chairs for everyone. This is a great place for adults of all ages and musical tastes and the staff is so great and down to Earth, especially Big Matt. Great drinks and a lot of familiar faces! A good place for a night out with friends! Make sure to check out karaoke night, its hilarious and everyone is free to sing whatever they want.
To me it was really hard to find. In case you have trouble finding it, its in the Walmart parking lot, if your looking at Walmart take a right. Go by CCS pizza and to the end. Almost out the drive. Turn left. It will be a dark store front (at night). Look above the business. Youll barely see Clicks. Or maybe Im just old. I think they need to light a sign or something. No waitresses. The bands where worth it all. Good gosh. Deathrow Bodeen, Werefoot, Oceans Ego and We Have Your Dog. All of them were great. I hope I didnt leave anything out.
Great place to hang out for cool bands, play some pool, ping pong and relax with new and old friends.
Great places, great food, great drinks great company and amazing live music... be sure to order some of their slider burgers. For a bar they got great food.
Clicks is an awesome place for live music, cold beer, or a great game of pool. Its really laid back and the bands they book are really great more often than not. Conveniently located next to a McDonalds for all your drunchie needs.
Staff wasnt ready for ticketed entry for a concert that was after a meet and greet event. We were ushered back outside in the heat, losing our front row seats we had earned by being in line almost an hour early. (All seats were general admission. We meet and greet fans were let back inside about 30 minutes later and 15 mins earlier than the regular ticket holders, having to form a new line according to how we exited, not by order of arrival. The bar didnt start selling drinks until all ticket holders were allowed in, creating a rush and a crowd at the bar.If we would have only been scanned upon entry the first time and allowed to buy drinks when we entered the second time (bartenders were behind the barit would have been a much more chilled and relaxed time. As it was, everyone was confused about having to exit the venue and the process of how our tickets were getting scanned, and we lost our front row seats. A little foresight and proactive planning is my recommendation. Other venues for this same band handled things MUCH differently, avoiding the two hassles mentioned above. Also, the staff needs to recognize ahead of time that this was an unplugged, acoustic event. Their noise level, not that of the ticket holders in the bar area, was distracting at times. It took away from the ambiance of the setting. So, lack of professionalism and preparedness are my two stars that are missing.
This is not your average bar. This place has inside bar, outside bar, concert stage and plenty of seating both in and outside. I preferred the seating ouside over the inside for two reasons. One, seating around a warm fire pit while you sip ypur beverage of choice, two i tend to vear away from large and noisy crowded areas. Though if you like the loud and crowded feel of a pool hall/stageside, inside would be better for you... And if you like, you can venture in and out at will, as long as you dont lose your control bracelet.
Just moved to area. Was told this place has Karaoke Wednesdays. Came in around 7pm was told it started at 9.... Its now9:30 still hasnt started. Talked to KJ hr ago gave him our songs.. He just stated that first 30 minutes will be DJ choice... In other words if you want a free drink then he calls someone up to sing what he chooses for you.... No person who turns in songs in any order will get to sing... Any time soon... Will not be coming back. Courtesy of telling new comers would be appreciated.
When you try to call to find out if they are having live music they dont answer the phone. Plus, when you say cover charge stays at 9 dont try to charge me at 8:30, you lost a lot of drink sales the other night.
Real good venue. Great performances. Clean facilities. Plenty of pool tables
Me and my husband went played pool and had fun. Also a hotel next door so we didnt have to drive. Great time.
I cant give a bad review to the best place to play a rock show in East Texas! Only complaint/ponder. I dont see why Clicks doesnt announce all of there shows especialy newer national touring bands making a name for themselves. Ie Adikain and Messer who both have a huge fan base in Tyler... btw Tonight Oct. 15 2016 Messer at clicks
Much agreed with the previous reviewer. This place used to book GREAT bands on the regular. Now its very rare they have a good top name rock band like they used to. I mean I can probably guess why. Ive seen Adelitas Way, Red Sun Rising, and Like A Storm there recently. And the turnout wasnt that great. Maybe if they had more support from the community.
Me and my fiance went there about a year ago from muskogee ok to see mushroomhead. We had the best time. The venue was amazing. We are driving all the way back this next weekend to see mushroomhead and hedpe..
Best damn music venue in East Texas , awesome stage and lighting for taking pictures. Only complaint Id have is when waiting at the bar for drinking the girls wait on the ones they know are buying alcohol, I know me and my daughter have waited up to 15 minutes. Other then that love Clicks and the local music scene
The gas fire places on the back patio were a great place to hang out the drinks were made pretty dang good they had very nice pool tables the juke box had great song selections and good sound over all we had a great time here
