Super cute animals with pellets provided to feed them. Some kangaroos are scared, but most will let you feed them. The koala close-ups are an amusing experience, you can ask the very friendly keeper any questions, touch the koala, and take pictures. There are also a wide range of animals to feed and take pictures with such as kangaroos, wallabies, emus, ducks and birds.

Went with a Buddhist monk friend. We literally had a few minutes to go in, walk about, see some animals, feed them and take a few pics. We achieved it all within half an hour, before the park closed. Best rushed animal experience ever!! We tried feeding a few kangaroos each, and couple were not so stuffed by all the visitors that they actually took a handful of officially acceptable food each. We called his mother in Sri Lanka, showed her video of feeding wallabies, we took some nice pics too.

5 STARS for the Cockatoo Experience!!!!5 STARS for the grounds and and care of the animals.VERY disappointed in the Cafe though unfortunately. So much missed opportunity. Very limited options and confusing why wildlife parks dont have vegan cafes, that makes no sense to me at all.

Decent sized wildlife park with a bunch of different native animals. Would recommend as it feels a lot more open than Adelaide zoo and it’s much quieter during the week. There is a small water bowl outside the cafe which sometimes has a bunch of lorikeets show up on it.

Good experience to see Australian native animals. You can go very close to them an feed them. There is also a option to get close up photos with a Koala, while petting one. It may be the reason for it high ticket price, given the number of variety of animals. You can meet a lots of Australian native animals if it is your first time in Australia, but will not be very different, if you have been other similar wildlife park in Australia. Overall the experience is good.

One of the best things to do in Adelaide by far in summer or winter. I have been here on so many occasions, every time Im in Adelaide visiting family and showing people from Overseas around I take them here and they cant believe just how amazing the place is... The animals are all very chilled and happy. You can get up close and personal with may different types of Kangaroos. Get some snaps done with Koalas and see the very inquisitive Emus. Early mornings are my favourite time to visit. Lots of young Kangaroos at present#letsguide #adelaide #adelaidehills #wildlifepark #australia

Its great place to go with your kids.. Had the chance to feed the wallabies and the kangaroos... But make sure not to chase them around when they have no interest in making interaction with us.

Great view on this mountain. The path direction the mountain is also great. Start at the waterfalls. Is you start there you beginnwith the mountainclimbup. A lotbof stairs you havento climb. But if you at the mountain, then you have a great view. Unbelieveble how beautiful. It a real 5-stars walk or hike. The way back to the waterfall is then easy. Take your time. Underway visit Cleland with the coalas en kangaroos. A day out you will never forget.

Had good experience seeing native animals of Australia. It’s a good weekend getaway. I find tickets to be bit high but overall good experience. Bought Souvenirs, staff was very kind and supportive. Cafe is also really nice. For me feeding Kangaroos and watching Koalas was unique experience.

Its a good wildlife park to see and learn about iconic Australian native wildlife like dingos and wombats. There is also a couple of bird aviaries for bird lovers. Kids should love seeing and feeding the wildlife and might even like to pat the Koalas . A keeper talk is never far away and they are happy to answer any questions you might have. Lots of nature walks and long hikes available just outside. Lots of parking available for everyone.

We were up here mid Feburary. Weather was good for walking. And theres lots of it, so many paths and trails. Was good to see so many open areas for the animals. Kids enjoyed feeding the kangaroos and an attempt at an emu before nerves kicked in (size difference)Walkways are well maintained and clean, but it is slightly hilly in some parts.Spent about 2.5hrs walking around exploring everything.Good for all ages.

Had to become annual members as its only the price of 2 visits and you get free animal food every time you go. Cleland is a beautiful park with a wide variety of native animals. Id highly recommend paying extra for the cockatoo experience too, as you spend a good 15 minutes in their enclosure where you can hold them and feed them and can take loads of photos.

Took my 15 month old here for the first time on the weekend. It was a beautiful afternoon. They have lovely eating area perfect for a picnic or they have a cafe that you can grab a snack with. The animals all look so well cared of and have a no patting area for kangaroos who want a break.

A must visit for tourists and locals. We hadn’t visited for many years and decided it was time to revisit. We bought yearly memberships so we can now visit whenever we like. Well worth the money and value received with only 2 visits. The park is well laid out, paths are sealed so good for parks, wheelchairs, etc. All the animals were very relaxed and friendly.Great views over Adelaide by the yellow footed rock wallabies rockery. The cafe was inviting and served amazing wedges and good coffee. There is a cosy lo9king fireplace for the winter visits. The animals were quite active on a cooler summers morning.

Totally amazed at how happy and active all the animals were. Also the most interactive wildlife park I have ever visited. The grounds were amazing. So much room meant your not bunched up with other park visitors. The Cafe was so cosy at the end of the visit to enjoy some warm food and a glass of wine by the warm fire. Will definately visit again.

There are a lot of unique Australian wild animals here. You can get close contact with kangaroos, koalas, EMUs, Australian pelicans and so on. You can also buy food in the park to feed some animals. One of South Australias most popular walking trails traverses this unique area from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty Summit. There is also a selection of trails and fire tracks where you can ride your mountain bike on shared use trails within the park.

Awesome place to visit! The coolest part is getting to feed to animals (kangaroos, wallabies, ducks, etc.right out of your hand, make sure to buy a couple feed bags ($3ea). Good fun for kids! Just remember on hot days they don’t do some of the keeper talks or koala holding so check before you go if that’s on your agenda.

There’s lots of animals to see, as you would expect from their website and other advertising. $3 for each bag of food to feed the various creatures with. The prices are sky high - but then you aren’t allowed to complain as it all goes towards our furry friends & other such conservation.Don’t mind that it was too hot to hold a koala - we were informed at the outset, so not an issue. Closing half the park and not notifying us when we bought our tickets is definitely worth losing a star over though. We wanted to see the other Avery. No luck there. The map needs updating. In fact, the whole organisation needs a revamp and boost. This could easily be a 5 star attraction but it’s just a tourist novelty at best.

Was hoping to get to hug a koala but high temperatures for the past four days have them in a bad mood. We saw the cutest wombats, though, and a wallabee with a Joey being protective. You can feed the animals and pet them. Come earlier if you want to avoid the heat of summer. The park opens at 9.30.

They are really adorable when they are sleeping. If the weather condition is good you can get a photo with the koala but price with vary. You can also feed the kangaroo with food they provide.

We came for the Wombat Experience, which I highly recommend as Fred is amazing, but were overwhelmed by how beautiful this park is and surprised that we could feed the animals that are roaming free! If you come early itll feel like the park is all yours and its a relaxed way of feeding the wallabies and kangaroos. A highlight of our trip in Australia and highly recommended if youre in the Adelaide area!

Would have been 5 stars if it was not so hot and we could have had contact with the koalas as well (understandable though). It was awesome to be able to hand feed some kangaroos, wallabies, emus & potoroos! Great to see other wallaby species and birds & koalas for great photo ops too! Lovely grounds to walk around & great view of Adelaide out to the coast! Highly recommend if you have a couple of hours

Amazing. Never experienced animals quite like this before. Im looking forward to seeing what they do with the new funding they have received. The staff were all exceptional and the food was topped right up as much as it could be ( I love that ). We used the entertainment book and saved around 30 bux. Very very happy would go again! 😍

Great for all, but especially families with young children. All can walk and feed and pat the wildlife: Kangaroos, emus and potarroos. Also has monitor lizard, dingos, koalas, a wetland with has it birds, aviary wombats and echidnas. Get a pass it is well worth it if you are in the area, and gets you a bit one get one free coffee ($5at the cafe. Area for picnics as well and had lots of space. We find the Kangaroos on the way to the wombats are more likely to eat.

This was an amazing place to visit, especially since I am from the USA and have not seen many Australian animals... let alone be able to interact with many. Very reasonable admission charge. The major highlight for me was seeing the Koalas... even though they werent in the wild, they are the only ones I have seen. I spent a lot of time just watching them feed and occasionally move around. But also wonderful was the opportunity to see Kangaroos and Emus. These are roaming freely in a large area of the park... and the visitors are also allowed to roam freely among them! You can purchase a small bag of food and they will let you approach and hand feed them. This is also true of many other animals, such as small rodents. The park is nice and clean, and very pleasant to walk around. It could use a little better signage, as it isnt always easy to tell where you are and how to get to the exit.
