The hotel bill board is only on the building and hotel no more. Beware before booking online. They do not honour online booking. I was ripped by Agoda.com. had to pay again as there is no choice to search new hotel at night nearby .... very bad experience

Had an unexpected night in Male. manager of hotel made a good effort to make us feel.comfortable. Good location not far from airport. Lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay there again.

This place is to be avoided at all costs. I ended up spending a night here with my wife, unexpectedly. We were staying on an island for our time in the Maldives, but our flight out was super early on Friday so we had to spend a night in Male. This hotel was chosen for us by our island hotel, but was the biggest mistake. Firstly, the hotel was closed but we were allowed in. The hotel is super dingy, run down and looks NOTHING like its photos online. They have a card machine but refused to let us pay by card because they wanted the tax relief of not having to declare our stay. The owner tried to rip us off on the dollar:rufiyya exchange rate massively. The room was dismal -> there were water stains on the wall around the aircon, the shower had a shower door missing which was definitely not by design and the window blinds were so poor, they might as well not have been there because every light on the street shone directly on your face in bed. Genuinely one of the worst experiences Ive ever had.
