Classic India Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Sligeach, Ireland
We celebrated my supervidors birthday there. we loved everything. just I wish price was a bit cheaper.
Place grotty food not great wouldn’t go back
Food was nice but 1st time ever not to get poppadoms & dips so it’s a no from me
The chicken curry and prawns curry were good.Naans and kulchas did not look like they were made fresh or in tandoor. Very much like store bought/ frozen ones.No Indian desserts available.
Nice food, good service
The Food is really good and tasty.Looking forward to be back soon.
Was not happy with the food unfortunately. Last year it was very good. Food is too expensive these days to be getting a poor standard. As I had good Indian food before I know what to be expected. Maybe I got them on a bad day but I wont be returning any time soon
Food taste.: 3/5Affordability: 5/5Ambience: 5/5Staff is very polite and helpful.Near to city center
Didnt look up to much but we had a decent meal at a good price. 3 starters one main two naans two mango lassi all under 50 euro. Starters were generous portions and we couldnt finish it all between 2 adults and a little one
Very good authentic Indian food will definitely be back good value too 😋
Absolutely diabolical. Order wrong to start with, not worth trying.
Ordering from a take out. Loved the food, but to be honest might be my last for ordering from this place. Food was extremely late. 45 minutes, tried phoning them to see whats the story, phone number provided doesnt seem to be working. Poor customer service, hate to leave this review cause I really like the food... but not worth waiting 45 minutes, I would understand if it my first time ordering, but this is my reoccurring every order. I would appreciate a call to notify us that it would be late or set a realistic time of delivery for the food.
Worst ever..place moldy and dusty chairs.you can feel and inhale the moldy smell and paint of the place..lamb korma is like having a sugar soup..but i love the papadoms and the dips and lovely garlic nan bread..
I normally go for murgh lebador I Have found it to have gone down. It never has a batter around it. Last week it was just like a chicken sausage with no potato or batter. Hugely disappointed. Hoping it will be a better experience tonight. Otherwise cannot recommend food enough may just need to find an alternative favourite dish.
Very good Indian restaurant in Sligo.. Vegetarian food was delicious and good quality.
Absolutely wonderful food - naan breads are perfect and we got such flavourful and fresh tasting meals. Had Lamb Sirdhari first night then mhurgh labadar the next and both were absolutely spot on. Definitely recommend !
We were only in Sligo for a couple of days and ordered over the phone for delivery to our apartment. Food came piping hot even though we were quite a distance away. Driver was very nice and friendly and so was the very nice gentleman who took my order. Lamb was beautifully cooked and tender and the whole meal was excellent. Wish we lived nearer so we could order from here all the time! Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Poppadoms werent great but the rest of the food was delicious. We got the Lamb Sirdiri the Madras and aloo gobi. Yum!
The starter and veg curry was nice but the egg fried rice was a disaster, The rice is full of oil and not fresh..
The food was hit and miss and the quantity was good, but the order was messed up. If you are ordering a lot of items for takeaway please verify the items before leaving the place.
The no.1 Indian in Sligo.. Fantastic authentic food and great wine list!
Was missing items on my order by €8.Rest was edible, nothing special. Onion badjis were dry and cold, so guessing they werent fresh. Movie night with no kids. Real disappointment!!!
Last week girlie night in a few meals absolutely poor quality. Definitely not Biryani. Slop. This week my husband brought home food from Classic indian. Euuggghhh could not eat it at all. Money wasted. Will not complain but will never get food at this restaurant again. Not me... Not my girlfriends. And definitely not my husband.
Some of the nicest Indian food I have had in Ireland. Great vegetarian options and the staff were lovely here.
Shocking!I called to inform them of certain allergens because just eat does not have a comment section to leave for the restaurantThey demanded I give them my card number or else they can’t place my orderI made it clear that I will order through justeat as it’s safer than calling my card information to a random person and that I am only calling to inform them of my allergens. The guy started shouting and calling me names saying if I don’t give him my card information I should just go order through justeat and he will not take my allergens into considerationIt’s beyond shocking to receive this treatment from a restaurant in Ireland!!!Please avoid, still don’t understand why they demanded my card info!
Such nice food, such nice people. The saag paneer is a favourite. Delivery service fantastic too.
The staff were beyond measurable efficiency. This is a place they could talk back to you throughout your time if you so wished whilst also making sure your food and drink orders were sublime and always arrive at the right time. Extraordinarily friendly. Amazing place for a date. A few friends for a beer and food before the session begins. Finally family occasions as there seating areas can have a good gap between you and others so your group can talk to just your table and not be disturbed. And Ill jump right to the food point. Their food is extravagantly divine both in their establishment and delivery (after my first table meal here, the following week I ordered a delivery due to my long day working so I thought a movie and some amazing food and needed more cheering up and their food did the job so well that even when I was completely full and not hungry, I still wanted more of it. Woke up wondering " will I order another now to arrive for 8 oclock tonight and watch another movie. Anyways top Marks all round, no disappointments. Thank you.Yours sincerely,Vinda-whoWes Wilder
Great Indian restaurant and very friendly staff had lovely dinner here on Friday night with wife and kids. nice to find such food indian food in Sligo. will definitely be back next time I visit sligo
Lovely cosy restaurant and great food. The staff are so friendly.......really a great place to dine out, top Marks.
Absolutely gorgeous food here, with very good vegetarian options! I ordered an aloo ghobi, and the portion was enough for two people, with potatoes and cauliflower cooked just enough to be tender, but not mushy. Flavoursome and carefully cooked meal. Highly recommended. Good work classic India!
Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Staff were friendly. We were seated, served and finished within an hour. A little pricy though.
Great Food. Great Ambiance. Value for money. Very courteous staff, complimentory pickle and salad served just like an Indian restaurant and it was delicious. Highly recommend in Sligo for authentic Indian taste.
Best Indian food ever had !!!The place is: very cosy atmosphere and relaxing, food high quality and service . Staff nice and friendly.
Had a delicious meal last week. Staff very professional and friendly. Would definently return again.
Authentic Indian food, friendly staff happy to help. Very enjoyable
We had a great work dinner here. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We didnt not feel rushed at any stage and service was perfectly timed.
Nice food and happy staff
Solid and established. Excellent service and nice atmosphere if eating in. Craft beer on the drink menu is a plus
Raj and the food is wonderful with a visit.
Nice food, lots to select from and good friendly staff
Quality food quick service nice people
Awesome staff and the food is excellent. A large menu lots to choose from. The place is simple but nice.
The food is always really nice here, do get take always too and the service, for me, has been great, everytime.
Place has potential to be good Inian restaurant. Unfortunately, staff is dragging it down. We received dirty cap for the tea... Waitress replaced without any apologise. Then my wife asked for recommendation, and she was recommended extremely hot dish ... It was even hot for me - "spicy lower". Management have to replace local Irish servers team, only this way restaurant will be able to got better scores.
Delicious food and classic ambience. Must visit
I have to say I had been here several times ( to dine inin the past, but its not the same. Unfortunately its overpriced for what it is and I guess its really just a takeaway. I think there is a market for a good quality Indian in Sligo but couldnt recommend Classic India right now
Good curry ... for Ireland. Twice the price compared with London and half as good. I guess its the rarity of half decent Indian restaurants in Ireland that sustains places like this. If they halved their prices, theyd more than double their custom. We were the only ones there from 20:00-22:00 on a Tuesday. €65 for two pints, two poppadoms and a main course each plus one naan bread?? Very poor value.
realy good indian restaurant. we loved the tasty curry , full of flavours
Tesco microwave currys would be 10 times better! And cost you a quarter of the price! All i can say about people giving this place 5 stars is they obviously have never eaten a proper curry in their life! Absolutely disgusting i will never return!
Ate at this restaurant just over week ago me and my sister..havent say it was the worse Indian I ever ate ..we ate our starter which was not grt ..got main course I ordered chicken chilli masala its was so hot I could not touch it bit I ate I drank a whole hug of water ..it was served like stew all mushy was disgusting ..both me and my sus could not touch our meals ..we complained to owner of restaurant he did not want to know was so rude ..we paid the bill and he didnt even apologize was just the worse place I ever ate Indian at ..and I know my Indian because I love it ..later I was told by people dont go there as food was really bad ..but was to late..was first time ever in Sligo and to be honest it put me of going again with rudeness of this guy..cost me 83 Euro for food we could not eat ..
