Clark Freeport, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines, Dinalupihan
Local history museum showcasing diverse regional artifacts & an interactive documentary film.
Entrance is 100 along with the 4D theater.
Very informative.
If you want to Remembered the Story itself of the past this is the Museum in the Clark is the right place youre looking for💪👌👍👍😍🤗
the last time I went here was 2019, and now 2022 theyve changed the content and it was pretty disappointing ):
Kids enjoyed the museum and the staff were kind and helpful. Its a great learning experience.
For Educational tour for the family
Has a moving seat theater but it only runs at certain times. Nice Filipino and US history.
Entrance fee of 100 pesos . Museum has 1st and 2nd floor. At the side is the 4d theater with 100 pesos entrance fee. The movie is about the history of Clark and Mt. Pinatubo.
FOR ALL AGES. This should be on your list if you’re visiting Clark. Get to know the place more by looking at the history of Angeles and Pampanga as a whole through this museum and their 4D Theatre. And before I forget, admission is affordable.
Visited the museum and the 4D theater about a month ago. The staff and guards were very friendly. The museum was very informative about the history of Pampanga/Clark. There’s really a lot to learn. Come in early though if you would really like to read all the infographics they have, as we came in by afternoon, and I didn’t have enough time to read all of them.As for the 4D theater, it was enjoyable naman, though there were times when the configuration of the seat, as well as other special effects, didn’t fit the narration and what was shown on screen. I couldn’t help but laugh when my seat vibrated down there when they were talking about the natives dying.Overall, it’s worth a visit and it was a very enriching experience for me.
A great museum to learn about clark city from its humble beginnings, to being a base and now a global city. You will learn culture, agriculture, and economics too. 100 pesos per person.
The museum opens at 9am, Tues-Sun. There are two floors and a 4D theatre. Bird collection, history of Clark and its turnaround from being a US base station to a freeport zone are what are in stored. There is also interesting materials about Mt Pinatubo and Mt Arayat. Don"t miss the 4D theatre. Firsr show is at 9:30am. The museum is closed on Mondays. #recommendedtovisit
Like other reviews, not too much there but worth a visit. I learned a lot.
GFCC Seniors had a blast! Thanks a lot💗
Kids are free. Adults are 100php each for the museum and 4d theatre. The kids enjoyed it.
It was enjoyable but small and lacking info. The 4D theatre is worth the P100 price but dont expect much. The moving chairs served no real purpose. The 4D glasses didnt really work good. That said, its worth experiencing for the Clark Air Base history...
The staff are very friendly, place is kept well and it is a great place for kids to learn history
Nice museum I was the only one there so could take my time wandering around sections 3 and 4 were the most interesting for me
After we left the Veterans cemetery, we got a ride to Clark Air Base. The base has been closed since the 90s. Some parts of it are still in use but much of it has fallen into disrepair. We walked the grounds and took some pics but the most interesting part of our visit was the museum. Its a nice place. Half of it is dedicated to art, 1/4 is dedicated to the air base and the last 1/4 focuses on local history, including the Aetas who are described as Negritos considered original inhabitants of the islands, and Amerasians. We were the only two people visiting so we took our time and enjoyed it all.
A good place to be... Id love to stay there at the car park when the sun is coming down,
The museum was a good walk down memory lane of how Clark was built. The 4D theater was much appreciated by a history nerd like myself but not much by the toddlers who expected more... Fighting. Lol.A great family experience. Try it.
Their museum is a good place for kids and adults. Their 4D theater is not worth it.
Know the past and rich history of CLARK? Visit this place and experience 4D time travel of CLARKs humble beginning.
Some interesting exhibits on the history of Clark Freeport, and various items of arts and crafts, but the museum needs a serious curator to update the exhibits and make it more accessible.
A must visit place in Clark. The museum is small but well-curated, with some interactive activities. It features the history of the place showcasing a variety of items including artifacts, dioramas, old photographs, products such as pottery, and attractions (including a photo exhibit of birds found in Pampanga). The 4D theater shows an engaging and good account of the history of the place capturing the smell and feel of Mt Pinatubos eruption.
Seriously should consider adding a tour guide to make the experience better. Youll get lost trying to figure out things but theres still a lot of interesting exhibits here
This is a fun place for you when you stay in angelese city since there has few fun you can do here. The 4D theater is talk about the history of this city,in 1991, the Pinatubo volcano was exprotion and there almost became a desolation. And then, the government is rebuild this place become a global city in Asia, and its progressing now.
The museum was clean. There are lots of displays. But it would have been better if they have a guide to accompany visitors while having a tour inside. The 4D Theater was fun. It was my first time to have such kind of experience.
Amazing place!! Awesome relics!!!
the entrance fee was super worth it..its like time travelling 🤗
We visit this museum and they play the 4D introduction video regard to city planning of New Clark City. But the seat move always lag 0.3 secind behind video. And the video quality is not high definition. Beside that, the content of video might improve you understanding on how they will going to do in this new capital.
We paid 100 for the entrance and another 100 for a 20 minute 4D Theater experience showing a brief history of Clark & the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. The 4D effects gave us goosebumps and amusement. With that said, we enjoyed roaming around the museum for the next 15minutes. Great showcase & approach to vositors like us. Trully amazing. Kudos to everyone!
Educational and inspiring experience for both Filipino and foreign tourists! 👍🏻Definitely a must-visit when in Clark ✈️The museum is well-maintained and well-ventilated. Restrooms are clean.Hoping for more interactive pieces for the museum!Tip for CDA: More promotions and advertising!
A 2story museum that shelters the history of Pampanga Region. They offer a free 4D AVP that shows how the Clark area has been freed from the Americans up to how the Clark Economic Zone have started. The first floor of the museum showcases the Pampangas area. The area where it is located in. The volcanoes that is around the vicinity. And even the wildlife that can be seen in the area. The 1st floor also discusses the life of the locals. The second floor then discusses the American colonization. The base theyve built in Clark. And the involvement of them in economy. The 2nd floor also showcase the Clark now, the attractions you can do. The places you can go to. All is in there, the 2nd floor
Very informative. Cool place to visit while in Clark.
This place is jot for sight-seeing but a good place for joggers and those who like to stroll.
Great museum with awesome 4D show. However, since I learned that my one of childrens tour itinerary will be there, I felt bad (blaming the greediness of organizers). The museum and the 4D show will not be appreciated yet by too young of a mind. My children are Grade 7 and 9,i believe the grade 7 will not enjoy, may be my grade 9er. But sending grades 1-6 there is not a goid idea, though.
The exhibits were meticulously coordinated and mounted. My grade school son was happy to learn about Mt Pinatubo. The location is great as it is just a few steps away from a park.
Educational and worth your while!
Clark Museum is ideal in learning about the History of the Clark Business Center.
Its fun. Youll learn a lot about the place. I think Pampanga is one the best places to visit. Theres a lot of beautiful places and events that you can see when you get there.
Modest sized museum but enough to enjoy yourselves for a couple hours and learn a few things about Clark. Entrance fee is nominal and staff are friendly. Pretty quite inside so you can take your time reading about the transformation of the US military base to what is now a well planned developing tourist and economic zone.
Entrance fee is quite expensive. Not advisable for kids 7 y/o and below. Youll do most of the reading because there will be no one to assist you as you walk around the museum. On the 2nd floor youll find most of the artifacts when the US airbase was still here in the Philippines.Kids and kids at heart would definitely enjoy the 4d experience but some of the seats are not maintained hence, my sisters were not able to experience the effects.
A section on volcano and the Pampanga rover watershed. Some interesting stuff on indigenous culture. Small section on Clark Field and lots of jingoistic stuff about Clark development etc. Good shop though limited range of stuff. There are interesting buildings nearby though museum itself not interesting. CR are not museum quality.... broken etc
Great place detailing the history of the local area as well as documenting its past, present and future. The 4d movie was a bit hamfisted in its approach to immersion but all and all still a great experience.
Not crowded if you have spare time drop by
The Clark museum shows how brave, industrious, and clever the Filipinos are. Visit the museum to experience Filipino culture.
This is a must see place. The history is just fascinating, the memorabilia so poignant. At the foot of the massive parade ground, with Mt Pinatubo of in the distance. A truly emotion stirring place.
If you want to get a glimpse of Clark, Pampangas history, go straight to the museum. There are many exhibits to see and most of them are interactive (seen below with my friends granddaughter in the boat). The 4D Museum is exciting and very informative. The place is air-conditioned and airy. The second floor has many exhibit showcases. I cant really provide pictures inside as it will ruin the surprise but it is one of the best museums Ive gone to.
Good to spend half of ur day. They have improved a lot compare to 10years ago. 4D theatre is exciting!! Good to watch Clark history in 4D!!
