Very well appointed and extremely clean. Bed very comfortable and area amazingly quiet overnight. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed there on a work trip. The woman who answered the phone at reception was the rudest person I have ever met. She said there was no booking for me. Shut the door in my face, came back and said I did have a booking and then said I was lucky she answered the phone otherwise I wouldnt have been able to access my room. My work colleague experienced the same attitude after they did not answer the reception phone for half an hour then were also extremely rude. Makesa mockery of the word Reception. The rooms were comfortable but we have told our employer not to book this motel for other staff members who are coming to Clare for a course. Her behaviour was inexcusable.

Am yet to have a meal here I am not satisfied with, always impressed with the specials!

Thought I walk into the wrong room! Extremely spacious room and bathroom.Absolutely stunning for 149per night.Newly renovated using quality, appealing fittings and fixtures. Huge TV, large quality microwave, massive shower with great finishing touches by tradesmen. A credit to management and housekeeping!Will be back for sure if Im passing through again 😊

Rooms are very spacious & clean. Walking distance to pubs & supermarket. They also have a block to park if towing a trailer etc. Will stay again.

This is place no longer a Comfort Inn. Just Clare Motel. And its fantastic! Ive stayed here a few times years ago when it was a Comfort Inn and it was perfectly adequate back then. I arrived today to find a very recently renovated property. Not sure if all rooms have been renovated, but mine is awesome. The rooms are actually large to begin with, so with everything new, it was a huge surprise. And for $149, these days thats a bargain. The sign states 3 stars, but I reckon thats because it doesnt have a restaurant anymore, which I think is a requirement to claim 4 stars. But my room is 4 stars in all but name. Very satisfied and will come again for sure.

4 people:Clean spacious room with second twin room. Beds great. Good linen. No hairdryer.Let itself down as cutlery catered for 3 people as did plates - over abundance of mugs. A pair of tongs and a slotted spoon only made cooking difficult.Four good towels but only one face washer.Attention to these details would have made our stay less difficult. No one in attendance at reception to enable ‘filling the gaps’.

Great motel in the middle of Clare! Walking distance to everything on the main street; rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need out of a motel - could not fault it at all for the price.

Bbq area not clean, room had dead flies in windows. For the price should have someone to check you in

5min walk to town centre. Clean, spacious room. Easy 24 hour self check in. Only issue was the smell of other peoples cigarette smoke filtering into the room.

Most rude, obnoxious, arrogant motel manager I have ever come across. She doesn’t care at all about paying customers. AVOID AVOID AVOID if you care at all about customer service

The Clare central has been great! I’m from Adelaide and have been working in the region over the last few weeks..I cannot fault the place, it’s clean/tidy, big rooms..the staff/reception are great and happy to help with any issues..it’s a comfortable place!...very good bathroom, very generous shower area!!

The reception was snobby when check-in. Paid $33 for breakfast got a basic breakfast with all cooked food burned, avocado was not ripe. Coffee tasted like instant coffee. 2 stars for the nice room and the cleaner. Update: The owner after receiving the review questioned me first thing then kicked me out straight away on a long weekend when difficulty to get an accommodation.

Me and my family have been here a few times now, always a pleasent experience and friendly welcome and well keep coming back. Rooms are excellent and well maintained

BEWARE - very deceiving - booked our accommodation via the motels website which advertises the pool, has pictures of the pool etc. We only booked this accommodation because of the pool as we were traveling with our children. Upon arrival the pool was "closed due to covid", but when speaking with the owner she said that they were using it as its their family home and theyre having a big party for new years! If you want the pool to be for family use only then stop advertising it as part of the accommodation, then blaming the closure on covid! I never would have booked if I knew the pool wasnt in action & I feel as though Ive been scammed.

GoodLovely room, comfortable bed. Quiet, as room was not on main road.BadAirconWas disappointed by aircon not working despite apparently new installation 2 weeks ago. The owner made us aware of a sign saying not to set temp below 20 degrees Celsius. She suggested we reset the AC incase it was on timer, to use the manual. To no avail. The pyrometer measured 28 degrees at 6pm. We put AC off and opened windows. Temp was 26 degrees at 7. 30pm.PoolPhotos on Internet and on booking. Com showed many photos of pool. Pool was locked due to covid. I queried this as 5 motels we stayed at in other towns allowed pool use,. Owner said she was tired of people using the pool and had taken it off booking. Com(but obviously not the photos plus the motel sign advertises a pool. She said she did not have time to make sure pool was presentable, dog poo, etc. Seriously, this is not my problem.This was still OK, but it was her tone that was disappointing, which lacked understanding or empathy. I was on holiday after a hard year. It was a hot day. We had been looking forward to relaxing at the pool. She said we could let her know when we wanted to use the pool and she would unlock the gate. But her voice said it was a huge inconvenience.We cancelled the rest of our stay and moved on after one night.

Stayed in the king room with the spa. Was clean and large and we couldnt ask for more. Would stay again.

Opened the door and was surprised to find a very clean and spacious room. Do yourself a favour and pay that extra few dollars for the Executive King room, you wont be disappointed. This 3 star motel has certainly earned a 5 star review.

I was in room 25 which has a King size bed. This Room is Huge.The Bed is very comfortable. Room is excellent. Has a small fully equipt kitchen with Microwave. I could not fault anything at all..

Maggie is the perfect motelier and offers exceptional service (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and a very clean and tidy motel. In this Covid climate, she has efficiently organised contactless key collection. The rooms are spacious and the bedlinen is new hotel quality. The bed met my fussy, light-sleeper criteria and I appreciated the comfy, clean pillows. The bathrooms are updated and the rain shower has fabulous water pressure.Maggie inherited a outdated motel and is making great progress with the decor update. New curtains and blinds are definitely needed.Geat location close to cafes and shops - theres even a burger cafe on site!

Clare Central motel its a great place to stay and very enjoyable restaurant is super place to eat and the lady that work there are great and very nice rooms and great place to stay when your travelling thoght or wanting to stay for the weekend or week

Comfortable beds, crisp new linen, good pillows, clean room and accommodating with late check in.

I will admit, when I heard I was staying in a motel, I was less than excited, Ive stayed in a few and have had a bad run. However, when I arrived, I was impressed from the beginning. I received literally the warmest welcome, as not only was the lady really nice, she also had the heater on and ready in my room, as it was freezing. Once I got to my room, I was impressed again with the size of the room itself, the bed, and the shower. Honestly, you could swing a cat in that shower, then once youre done the room is that big, you could practise your over-arm. But probably dont do that though, its mean to cats, plus I dont think you can have pets here. What they do allow is cooking, it has a kitchenette, so youre not forced to eat at the restaurant or get takeaway, like so many other motels. I did try the fillet mignon from the restaurant though, its pretty good. I also loved the fact that the building or appliances didnt make weird noises and keep me up all night. All in all, a good stay.

Last minute booking on long weekend.Good price & location. Handy on the main st with grocery stores, cafes, pubs all in walking distance.. maybe too handy🤣🤣🤣🤣

The rooms were spotless and this conveniently located hotel gad all the facilities we needed after a long day of driving and the hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful

We have just spent a lovely night in the Clare Central Motel. There were x3 adults, one of who was slightly disabled, and x2 teenagers. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and the lovely owner was very accommodating. We ate in the restaurant and with meat eaters, vegetarians, and fussy teenagers, we all found something to eat from the menu. Sophie, the resident dog, made a very cute addition! I would definitely recommend this motel and have already booked in advance to return. Thank you. Janet Denning

Great family room. I am visiting from England, and came with family and the room accommodated 5 people easily. The lady who met us in reception was so helpful with any requests we had. Service was great and nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant and loved the Mr Mick wine!! I would definitely recommend this little motel. Joy Denning

Our room was large and clean and had a comfy KS bed and handy kitchenette. Great location as it is walking distance to the shops and pubs. Looking to go back for a longer stay to check out the interesting area.

Great value for money. Room had excellent facilities and spacious. Staff on arrival friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars if onsite restaurant was operating. Easy walk into town.

As good a motel as weve stayed at anywhere in Australia , spotlessly clean , spacious and a fantastic bathroom . Could not rate this higher
