Funky gallery collective with monthly, varied exhibitions from local & international artists.
Its unfortunate how much this Art gallery has changed over the years. The old location on the corner of Orange was so much more welcoming and genuinely friendly. This location clearly caters to private parties and is rude about it. No sign indicating that a private party is happening. At minimum they can post it on social media. Disappointing to say the least.
I attended the Arts Fundraiser that they hosted this year and I had a good time. I was just happy to get dressed and support a cause that was dear to my heart. I will def be coming back to support more artist and support.
Fabulous local gallery. Cant get enough, really.
Great gallery featuring local artists.
Great show this month!
Nice 2 floor gallery conveniently located next to a parking garage. Downstairs portion rotates bimonthly so theres always something interesting to see.Staff are friendly
Fantastically welcoming place with some truly beautiful art work. If you are an art lover and are looking for a great place to appreciate some gorgeous imagery, this is the place.
Gorgeous set of Gothic Dining Room Chsirs
CityArts is one of the Best local venues for local artists of all mediums, in an eclectic style of intimacy for everyone to enjoy. One of thier best events to experience and enjoy is Dia de Los Muertos in the street, from the local artists/musicians to the amazing food.!!!
Vintage space nicely offsets unique art shows. Fun to visit during event openings; you can also spend time by yourself in the middle of the day, & enjoy creativity of featured artists
So much history in this building. And a wonderful gallery space for creative artists to exhibit their talent.
Amazing! I didnt want to leave! Ill be back for sure l, to support and purchase art from the gallery.
excellent gallery
Support local art! Park in the Library lot around the corner and CityArts will validate your ticket.
As an art gallery I would have hoped that they be sensitive to matters of humanity and emotion such as animal abuse and cruelty. Yet they choose to stick Betta fish in liter bottles with no room to move or hide or any other necessities in each of their windows as living decorations. Would you like to live each day of your life in an empty jail cell with no A/C where you can move only in one direction and are on display 24/7? This is a disgusting practice that is outlawed in other countries. Lets have some dignity and respect for life, please.
I heard they change out the peices frequently but on our visit there were a lot of different rooms throughout the gallery and each one has a theme or shared feature. I saw some things I would not have imagined I would have liked and there were definitely some peices that make you think.
Wonderful place to enjoy the good art in Orlando FL.
City Arts has some very unique pieces! I thoroughly enjoyed the museum and would visit again the next time Im in Orlando!
Very cool little art gallery. Tastefully curated with fun and well informed staff. Definitely recommend if youre downtown and never been. Support local and living artists.
Great art. Loved the Pop Art theme that was on display when I went. They also had a little gif photobooth. Nice touch.
I enjoyed the visit at cityarts. The place is well lit and cozy, and has many great works
This gallery is so nice, I love that its all local artists, highly recommend! Their yearly day of the dead monster display was phenomenal
Such a great little gallery! They do a great job of keeping it fresh with new exhibits every month or so. So you can go in on a monthly basis and have a new experience every time!
Beautiful gallery space, went to go look at some art and was amazed by the talent. Wish it was more though
What a Gem! Saw the Frieda and Diego exhibit downstairs and great new art upstairs. Thoroughly enjoyed the energy of the gallery.
We enjoyed looking at the art.
Awesome place for local artists and for the community! They hold great gallery events open to the public showing great contemporary artists.
I love the variety of art here. I’ve taken my kids twice and we also went on the art walk. I love the atmosphere and the art is always beautiful. I especially loved the exhibits upstairs that featured cancer patients and art teachers.
Closed when we arrived even tho web site and door said it was open as there was nothing posted anywhere that it would be closed. Paid for parking before we found out so wasnt happy about that, plus wed gone quite a but out of our way to go there
This is a awesome spot! They do this thing every Friday called "Trap Art" where they do a tribute to many different artist the latest one I went to was J. Cole and it was crazy fun!Beautiful, great vibes, different environment! Has 2 bars and 2 different rooms, seems crowded but it really is not!Ill have pictures next time!
Great front desk staff. Located in the heart of downtown Orlando, it is a nice breath of quiet and creativity. The gallery is rotating to keep the place fresh.
The Mad Fab show was my favorite but there is much more art to be seen as well. Something for everyone!
This a great place for local artists and for the community! They do shows every 3rd Thursday! As an artist, I personally find it a great resource for getting my art in a gallery and I had some pieces sold 🙂. Great place!
Very inspiring gallery, decent size and comfortable when we went the cafe was open and they also had a small bar on location.
Amazing art gallery, it has a variety of artists and different art styles. It also has a nice coffee shop and staff is more than welcoming. Excellent location in the heart of Downtown Orlando.
Great experience. Me and my wife went to support the young talent. Good to know the gallery give this artists the opportunity to expose their work. Definitely we will go back.
Absolutely amazing creativity in the heart of downtown. They have so many artists and organize shows and local events. Also, they are affordable at all levels. Theres something for everyone who loves art.
Amazing place! So interesting and the art is just beautiful! We went here for the 3rd Thursday event and had an absolute blast! 100% recommend to anyone looking for something unique to do.
I work a fast paced and stressful job in Downtown Orlando. This is a great place to go to step out of it for a minute and view excellent and thought provoking work of local artists. Nearly all (if not allof the work in the gallery is for sale.
Every time I visit there is new art! The atmosphere is made for you to wonder off and explore what the artists have created while allowing you to feel free to interpret what you feel. I love it, just wish there were more prints available. My advice: if you love it, get it, it wont be available forever.
Suggested donation of $5. The art is fantastic! Very talented artist and great thing about it, is that you can purchase anything there!
TREY the curator or whoever he is to this unprofessional business has broken peices of my artwork and refuse to take responsibility for it and they say u brought it to us broken. Got very aggressive with myself and tried to start confrontation when all I wanted was an honest acceptance to him destroying my artwork. Never again
Its pretty nice. If youre an artist, it costs to display, and they take a commission as well. Great events, usually monthly. Check their Facebook for calls for artists! The Halloween show is the best one every year!
Staff is so nice, my boyfriend submitted 4 art pieces last year and they all sold. 1 sold even before the gallery oppened. staff kept in contact with us updated us and just so helpful. beautiful place
Great local gallery offering a wide selection of art from local artists. The events that the gallery puts on are also awesome to attend.
Well first of all I absolutely love art so this was a place that I was dying to go to when I heard of it. Its family-friendly and not too crowded. I was able to enjoy viewing art while carrying my newborn without disturbing him. The staff was extremely polite, informative, and welcoming . I felt right at home. I smiled the entire time i was there!
During our Saturday early afternoon visit, there were only one or two others. I attribute LOW ATTENDANCE TO ITS LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN ORLANDO- an area still working on getting weekend visitors. Front desk worker Tre was very CHATTY AND PASSIONATE ABOUT THE PLACE which features a continuously rotating cast of local, young and hip artists. CITYARTS IS ROUGHLY THE SIZE OF A SUBURBAN HOME with each room featuring an artist. Most of the medium is paint but it shows up in murals along the hallways, staring back at you from the water fountain, and within many frames. This place OPERATES ON A SUGGESTED DONATION of $5 (and they’ll validate a portion of your parking at a particular garage). I’m definitely interested in returning and seeing what new, local talent is on display.
A wonderful gallery that allows established and emerging artists to showcase their work. Orlando is lucky indeed to have this amazing venue.
i loved it you walk in and get this friendly feeling the art work is amazing! its all local art too, ha i even saw my old elementary art teachers work hung up
Such a beautiful facility. Loved the art work and the environment was quiet and friendly. Will definitely return in the near future.
