OMG .... I stayed for one night.... Biscuits on the pillow.... And showers so much dirty..... In fact, all the place Is dirty... Its a shame. But the owner Is nice, the only good thing. Will never Come again.

Whatever you do, dont stay there!The room was one of the most disgusting things Ive seen so far!Bedbugs, dirty floor, more hair on the bed than I have on my head, indefinable spots on everything (we decided we simply dont want to know). We left the hostel immediately and decided to rather spend more money for another place to stay than having to sleep there.

Overbooked rooms after having a room pre booked online. Not getting my money back on that one. Even someone had a room pre-booked a day early only to show up with no room to stay in.

There was alot of insects crawling on the curtains so we took off to my friends uncle instead. Couldnt even be there for an hour. Dirty, smells like dirty underwear. I dont understand who runs this place..

Majorly unclean and unsafe. Bed bug infestation to the point of where you can see eggs and bugs crawling on the divider curtains. Blocked drains. Completely avoid.

This place gave me a rash. I would not stay there again.

They confirmed online, and via phone to double check, turned up with our baby at midnight and they said they double booked and put us on the street. Absolute disgrace.

A terrible experience in almost every way. Room full of bedbugs, dirt everywhere and mold in the shower. The staff were very rude and didnt take the bedbug sitiation seriously. We didnt get a refund for the room and they tried to make us pay for usimg the washer/dryer. (Which we were using because of the bedbugs)We had to stay the night in the hostels dirty lobby (other places were booked because of the harry styles concert)The only good rhing about the hostel is its location.

If you can, keep away its really bad, the smell kills

This photo does not even do the place justice. Came back some guy was sleeping in my bed. Guy offered me lsd and told me be careful people steal your things. Bedbugs. The smell. Crusty toes everywhere. Taking a shower made me worse of them if I hadn’t taken it.

Actually the worst place I’ve even been in my whole entire life. Room I stayed in must of had a mob spawner in it because the other residents where making noises akin to Minecraft zombies. Almost like there own language. The room has little to know security, no windows and smelt like a mixture of dead people and crack. Bed bugs litter the beds and were stained with all sorts of fluids. This place felt completely unsafe and if your a women do not come here. Would never sleep here again if you paid me.

BED BUGS! And incredibly dirty. The receptionist is rude and unfriendly, it’s absolutely filthy everywhere and you can literally see the bedbugs running over your mattress. I would not worship this hostel upon my worst enemy.

They literally have bedbugs and rooms are so dirty its not possible to stay in. They wont agree to refund. Do not go here.

Please don’t consider this at all unless you wanna have bedbugs and skin rash as a gift back home 🤢🤢🤮🤮

Hostel was very dirty, our room had bedbugs and they tried to put us in a completely different room that we had paid for. After we told them our room had bedbugs, they didn’t clean the room properly, they only took the sheets. Also bathrooms were really dirty, there were no toilet paper and the showers had mold.

Terrible experience overall. The whole place was dirty and smelled bad, sheets and bed were stained. Asked and paid for bed linen but never got any. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

This place shouldnt be allowed to host people. Very dirty, underground rooms, without bedsheets and towels. The bed was full of bedbugs. Noone should book there !!!

Bedbugs, beer cans, smelly mattress, burn marks and alcohol “forbidden”.I have lived in multiple budget hostels across Asia, Europe and South America, but never have I experienced a hostel this bad. Firstly, the room was extremely dirty. A cabinet was filled with beer cans and food that smelled horrible, even though alcohol supposedly is forbidden. The walls are paper thin so forget about sleeping, since people are constantly running up the stairs or making noise. My mattress smelled like pee, and had a bunch of stains. Luckily, the hostel provided sheets. I’m pretty sure the hostel had bedbugs, because I have a bunch of small red bite marks on my body. Secondly, the shared showers were disgusting. I was supposed to take a shower in the morning but chose not to. The toilets are also unclean and a bunch of sheets were laying on the floor outside. If you are able I would highly recommend spending the extra cash for better accommodation. This is NOT worth being cheap for.The only reason they receive one star is because the friendly receptionist and good location.

Do not stay here. The rooms are dark and smelly, the beds and bathroom were filthy. Felt unsafe travelling as a single lady.

I’ve traveled all over the world - New York, Poland, India for example - and I’ve never been to a hostel this bad. The walls are paper thin, you hear EVERYTHING the other guests are doing - snoring, shouting, walking. Bathrooms smelt like urine. People were shouting random things in the middle of the night (3AM, 5AMand a lot of the guests seemed to be either high and/or in desperate need of mental health services.The location’s good, but is it worth being close to the central station if you won’t be able to sleep at night due to all the noise?

Dont stay there. This "hostel" is in reality a shelter for homeless. Rooms in the basement, no windows, bed bugs and not super clean bathrooms. There was a fight near the reception, people screaming and saying they got robbed. One of the worst hostels Ive ever been in my life and one of the worst experiences I had as a traveler.

The other reviews are TRUE!!! READ THEM AND BEWARE! This hostel has BED BUGS. Smoking INSIDE the hostel. There was either a very angry or mentally unstable woman yelling every 15-20minutes at the top of her lungs. STAY AWAY.Hostel REFUSED to give me a refund, but booking.com customer service issued me a refund and I also issued a complaint fraudulent charge with my credit card company.

Worst experience someone can ever have. Words cannot describe entirely how bad it was. Just horrible.The front door is made out of glass which is completely broken. Huge risk of shattering over you when you touch it.The receptionist does not speak a single word in English. It is very hard to understand what he is trying to say. He is not welcoming at all.The whole place is unsafe. They do not provide even bed sheets and the beds are dirty. The room strongly smells like urine, it is disgusting. Everything is filthy. It is like in a horror movie. I swear I have never experienced something worse.I came to sleep during the night in the room and all the beds were unavailable, so I had to get out in the cold on the street and try to survive while being so exhausted. Please, if you care about yourself, never chose this place, even though it is cheap.

The room is not a good value for the price, 2250KR for 3 night is expensive for what it is. Our reservation hasnt been taken in account. There is no wifi, no mobile networks, no 4G. Plus, the place is noisy (said no noises between 10 pm and 10 am, but it was always noisy during bed time). The beds were not comfortable, to get a linen, we had to pay more, no windows. The service was unpleasant / impolite.

Tl;Dr : bed bugs and borderline unsanitary bathroomsThe place is very central and reasonably cheap. It was a great hostel in a pinch since a booking issue meant we couldnt stay in our previous one.And to be honest, I would have looked beyond the worn out ... Everything, the dingy atmosphere, and the noise. And I wasnt that bothered by the absence of windows, room in Stockholm is expensive, I get it.But the state of the sanitaries was borderline criminal and we found bedbugs crawling on the bedsheets and that is just unacceptable. I have no intention to bring bedbugs back home and I do *not* look forward to having to treat all my clothe.

I do not recommend it to anyone. Grumpy and bizarre staff. Nothing is included in the daily rate, I had to pay for sheets, towels (stained with blood and stoolsand also for washing and drying clothes. Windowless and very dirty rooms. Strange and disrespectful guests, 3 am and you hear people laughing and talking loudly in the adjoining rooms. THEWi-Fi does not work in the rooms, and reception looks like a bus station. Dirty bathrooms, I believe there is no daily cleaning. Worst of all I had fleas on the beds, I had stings all over my body. Really lousy, one of the worst hostels Ive ever stayed 🤮🤢🤬😡

The reviews warning people to stay away from this place are not exaggerating or being picky! Feels super unsafe and dirty. Way more like a homeless shelter than a hostel. I spent the night in my dorm laying in the pitch black of a basement room with only one exit listening to a woman blurt random obscenities until 4:00 AM. I was pretty sure she was going to get up and stab someone! STAY AWAY!.

Their prices are as reasonable as they can be in Stockholm, they have ok beds and I don’t think they had bedbugs. This said, everything else about this hostel was pretty horrible, considering it’s located in Stockholm and not in some tourist hell in Thailand.If you’re looking for comfort and nice atmosphere, you won’t find it here. The hostel reminds me of public hospitals in the 90’s, including the smoking area at the downstairs corridor, even the air in the rooms was already so bad that as a asthmatic person I woke up twice during the night because I couldn’t breathe.Everyone from receptionist to fellow travellers were saying continuosly that everyone gets robbed in this hostel. My roommate told that every day someone’s passport or wallet gets stolen here and anyone can get inside the building. And apparently that’s the case because when I woke up there were people sleeping in the bathroom floor, so I couldn’t go to shower.Floors were dirty, showers were dirty, toilets were dirty, but also smelled so bad you wanted to do your business as fast as you could so you could get the f* out of there. All together downstairs area were so disgusting that one could imagine the cleaner had not visited there for the last 3 days at least.I want to end this post in a positive note, so even if I don’t recommend this hostel to anyone, I have to say that the older gentleman working in the reception was really sweet even though he looked like he disliked the hostel even more than I did.1/5

Been to many hostels and this was one of the worst. It was dirty, I felt unsafe and there were quite some strange people there... price was also ok high for this „quality“. Only positive thing was the location, but there are much better hostels for similar prices nearby.

This is not a very nice place. The people who work there are nice, but this is the worst hostel Ive ever stayed at. And there is even an open smoking booth inside. Sheets were clean though. Its a no no to City Lodge Stockholm. :(

I had booked 4 nights at this hostel and only stayed one. As a solo female traveler I felt very uncomfortable here, there was a group of older men (they seemed to live here??who were constantly in the common area and put a wedge in the door of dorm to keep it open. The hostel was overall filthy, from the bathrooms smelling strongly of urine to a moldy banana peel found under my bed. Did not feel secure or safe at his hostel. There are several other clean and safe hostels for very little more in the area. The only plus is the location but not worth not being able to let my guard down.

I slept and left ASAPThis is a long term male room share not a hostel.I arrived at 1130 pm walked in and asked for a dorm bed. The older male receptionist said to me "you must be desperate". At which point I should have walked out but being so late I knew most other hostels are closed or closing soon. He then gave me the price for the female only room. I asked if that was the cheapest SEK 350, not including sheets. He then gave me a hard time about the 28 bed dorm which I asked about and paid for SEK 280. This room had plenty of space but he made it seem that he was full and doing me a favour by getting me a bottom bed.PS - the 6 beds around my bed were empty.An older drunk man checked in 30 mins after me which was a bit sketchy. He couldnt make his bed or undress himself.The room had cameras, if they work in the so called second kitchen/storage/bathroom area.Sketchy?????

Be aware of a 50 SEK 5.50$ charge for just linens. This hostel is alright, however it has no business charging the prices that it does. The free coffee and location were this hostels only redeeming factor. The lights get turned on long before checkout and people had sheets set up to try to sleep later and not be affected by the light. Stay anywhere else.

Cost effective and clean place for shared staying in central Stockholm .Very clean bathrooms and well maintained.The shared kitchen provides amenities for whipping up a meal or coffee .I opted for a single room which was by far the smallest room I’ve ever got into in my life :)But for the price , getting a room in central Stockholm was perfect and I would recommend for budget travellers looking for dorm stay or single room in central Stockholm.

I stayed there 1 night on the 7 September. I was in the big mixed dormitory because it wasnt anything else available. Awful night, that room isnt suitable for that many people, no ventilation, suffocating. Next day I started to see signs of bites. Doctor confirmed that they are bed bugs. Wrote to the hostel, hope they really sort that dorm out! Worse stay I ever had!

This place made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. I was an 18 year old woman, traveling with my best friend, another young woman, and we had to change hostels after one night because of how dirty and not secure it was. There was a group of older men that were constantly in the common room, making it an unwelcoming environment. I found a moldy banana peel under my bunk and someone was throwing up in the bathroom the morning we left. There was also a wedge under the door to the room we were in that kept it open. Overall, it was unclean and unsafe.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. After spending one night there and paying a ridiculous amount for not only the accomodation but the bedding as well. I’ve woken up the next day with bed bug bites all over me and they have only worsened overnight.. attached photos for you to see. DO NOT STAY HERE!! The hostel is incredibly dirty with little flies everywhere. Kitchen is a disaster and the lady who showed us our room even said ‘make sure you keep your belongings safe’ implying things get stolen easily. After a whole day of travelling the bed bugs are still in our bags with a month left to go of travelling this is absolutely disgusting and I couldn’t recommend enough to NOT STAY IN THIS HOSTEL. I told the staff member on duty the next morning who said she would get cleaning onto it the next day. This is not something cleaning can fixed. She should have gotten everyone out of the room immediately and organised an exterminator to come. Once again, DO NOT STAY HERE!

I just stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of October. I recommend it very highly! It was in a very central location, everything was clean, and there were spaces inside the rooms to store my important items with a lock. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they have a cheap and decent breakfast in the morning which is a nice start to the day and a good time to mingle with other guests. I had a great experience!

Night receptionist was sleeping in the kitchen when I came in one night. I sat down in the lobby and he approached me with his hands down his pants. This was an employee! The guests here were terrible as well. One was obviously drunk and talking to himself all night. And guess kept banging on the bathroom doors. Avoid this place. Its not worth the money even though it is cheap.

Worst hostel I ever been. Was asked to shutdown my computer and go to sleep. I was just working and not making any noise at all. The atmosphere is really strange, there seems to be people living there or using the place without being an guest. If you read this review I seriously do not recommend staying there.

The only good thing in this hostel is the location, near to the central station. Despite that everything is NOT EVEN ACCEPTABLE. Dirty (really bad smell in the room for 28 people; dirty and messy kitchen), Not enough WCs for all, You Cant Have Privacy, Staff looks like other guests (not nice), You have to buy sheets and towel if you need them and the duvet is available for your use but smells really bad.Also if you are a student or something you can not drink in the hostel and you have to be quiet since 11pm (you have signs all over to remember youbut the manager starts telling you to be quiet since 9:30 pm.

Stayed at the largest dorm in the hostel. The dorm smelled terribly, to the point that my girlfriend was unable to sleep in her bed as the person in the bunk below her had caused an almost permanent stink. One of the top bunk beds had a broken frame and they still allowed it to be used by a guest, instead of repairing it. One of the two toilets available for the 28 bedded room was clogged for almost an entire day, severely limiting possible bathroom use. There is a kitchen for use, but the plates and cutlery (which are washed by guestswere usually put back while still dirty. Also, please do not come to this hostel expecting anything close to a social atmosphere. The guests all keep to themselves and many times have an almost cautious approach to each other. Its a very cold atmosphere. Bedsheets and the locker room are only available if you pay which, while it is not an uncommon practice, always comes off to be as being sort of cheap. There are other hostels in Stockholm with a similar price range that are much more likely to satisfy your needs. One really good benefit, though, is that it is well located. Very close to the city center and the Old Town.

I would not recommend this hostel for women travelling alone, unless they stay in a women’s dorm, I did not feel comfortable and i was travelling with a male companion. I didn’t really sleep all 3 nights I was there due to snoring in all dorms, both mixed (36 people underground with no windowsand witnessed a physical fight at 3.30am in the women’s dorm between a muslim woman trying to pray with the light on and a swedish woman, and all 3 women turned on the light before 7am at different times of the night. For the amount of people staying in this venue their was not much space to sit and the facilities were average. The atmosphere was strange, I got the impression safety and security were not the best. Staff were nice, it is cheap and central. Good for men probably.
