Fabulous home cooking. Ask for the English menu and don’t order too many dishes as they’re big!

Unsatisfying. Very varied menu, but many items are not available. Out of all the beer on the menu, only 3 were available. The lemonades dont even seem to contain lemon, just soda water, syrup and 2 slices of lime. It took almost an hour for a serving of Bolognese pasta made on economy of sauce (it was more like pasta with meatand one (1stuffed pancake. Normally, thats what youd expect as time in a large restaurant in an equally large city at a busy hour and where the food is up to *restaurant* standards. But in this case there was no excuse for the delay, as the place was quite airy. Several people complained about the quality of service and rightly so. The quality of the service is indeed proportional to their payment, and this is not the fault of the waiters. Overall youre better off if you cook the same dishes at home, probably cheaper and tastier too.

City Bistro is just as it sounds, a regular bistro to be found in most cities around the world with the glaring exception of the amount of vegan food choices on the menu. And even better, we didnt have to thumb through the entire menu because they were conveniently listed on the first page.We ordered spicy hummus and baba ghanoush to start, served with toasted bread and it was delicious. Perfectly grilled zucchini. Herb sauteed mushrooms and sauteed potatoes with dill, parsley and garlic were all very delicious.There were many other options including pasta and tabbouleh salad but we had a long drive home so didnt eat too much. And we were too hungry for photos, sorry!

This place is pretty great. But it does get really busy during late evenings and public holidays.I had here a chicken salad, a long espresso, and a raspberry lemonade with still water.The coffee was good, the lemonade was incredibly sweet thou’. And the food, I ate there and asked for the rest to be packed as there was way too much food in that bowl I had the salad for lunch and dinner too lol.Definitely good value for money, but you do have to watch out for the sugar intake. I am sure that many people appreciate the big portions, especially the locals, but for me that was a minus as it often ends up as a waste of food.

My wife just arrived from Ukraine super hungry, and this waitress from the morning shift didnt even bother to look at us when we walked in. I was super nice to her, I said good morning I smiled and asked if she serves breakfast. She gave us the menu, completely ignored our existence, and just started answering phone calls and accepting orders instead of attending to our table. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Best pancakes in town.

The food was good. Vegetarian options are correct and tasty.The service was blind & slow. My meal was served to another table. Waited for 5 minutes till re-served to me, Covid anyone?. The terrasse gets invaded by beggars every 10 minutes. If only the terrasse-server visited the terrasse just as often!

The food is ok, nothing spectacular. The location is pretty nice. The main negative side is that is takes a lot of time to order, to get drinks, and especially food. The pancakes seem to arrive on time, though. The place is quite busy, and they take takeaway orders as well.

Before i have gaved this place 4 stars, now i have changed my opinion because they have changed there services... W8ting to much for the food and when it is served it is cold...

First of all the food is great and cheap and the portions are big.But , the waiting time is long (about 1hand the service is mediocre.Overall it is a good place to go if you are not that hungry.

Try fruit salad with sour cream. That was nice. Small place to take a bite.

Its ok-ish. Ive been so many times here just because they have cheap food and its next to my house, but the wait is so long. Sometimes it takes them 1h and a half for some pancakes or a sandwich. The service quality deffo needs to improve.

Very friendly place with big menu, full of tasty dishes. Menu is writed in english so its easy to order something. Prises of dishes are normal, allmost cheap ;Beer is not to expensive too. I recommand this place for tourists. :)

Lovely place to eat a sandwich or a salad in the beautiful town of Tulcea.Usually full , go there when not 100% hungry because you will usually wait a little.Bon appetit!

Best place to eat pancakes!

Surprising food. At first sight, I was very sceptic. But once you try it, youll want to revisit the place . Excelent service as well.

The food is ok. The portions are Big, depending in what you Order. Its cheap, so the right choice if you are travelling on a limited budget. Although we didnt order the pancakes, they seem to be pretty good because everyone else in the Restaurant ordered them.
