Cittamani - Indian restaurant in Milan, Italy
Cittamani in Milan
Description
Privilege
Wonderful atmosphere with a great quality Indian food and delicious wines. Very friendly and professional service... a place to come back soon!
MoreMilan is fortunate to have this precious place. This is not your usual curry house. The decor was spare with earthen pots and chairs which remind us of Raj -era design. The food and service were impeccable. The chicken biryani was in dum pukht style like it should be, not overly spiced. Also quite a grand experience as they cut out the dough cover. The kurkuri bhindi was light and witty. The chutneys were spot on . I liked the pulped alfonso with pomegranate seeds. This is a gem of a place and should be supported as they are trying to give customers higher level experience by handpicked dishes from India’s vast cuisine.
MoreWe went here last week. The restaurant has nice ambiance and they serve authentic Indian food. One star is for the chef, the taste was good and felt like he adjusted it on spicier side for our Indian palate. one star is for the lady manager and the male waiter who were very nice and friendly. However, the quantity of the food was not justifying the price we paid. Specifically the naan/paratha was the size of a puri. And important point, the two waitresses serving that day were rude to us. Not sure if it was because we were the only Indians in the ‘‘Indian restaurant’’ there or it was their nature. But they didn’t even look at us for minutes when we went to ask for a table. The lady who seemed to be their manager attended us finally. We had our dinner there because she was so nice to us.
MoreGood ambience, Friendly staff , Quick and efficient service, very tasty authentic indian food in Italy
MoreToday I have a reservation at 08:30 , I have been waiting until 9 pm no one is coming to take the order ! Very rude staff she didn’t even apologize! Her excuse she is alone !!! Never going to this place
MoreLovely food and brilliant ambiance.
We visited this place at the end of may. The ambience of this place is good. We ordered two Vegetarian Thalis. Both of them tasted okay. The food had any flavour or spices. Every curry was on a sweeter side. The overall quantity of the food was very less for the price. The place was not crowded. The staff are over attentive. Felt like they were staring at us all the time. The place is expensive. I would definitely not recommend this place if you want authentic Indian food.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the whole of Europe by far.. I’ve tried mostly all of the Indian restaurants while traveling in Europe, nothing comes close to the taste and the hospitality of this restaurant.. Just fabulous!!
MoreGreat location and food.
Se amate la cucina indiana non potete mancare l’appuntamento con questo ottimo ristorante.Super consigliato
MoreGreat food in the heart of Milan
MoreVery friendly staff. Great drinks and wine selection. A nice modern take on Indian cuisine worth going back for.
MoreLovey discovery, great Italian Indian food!In the lovey piazza Mirabello a great restaurant with tasteful dishes and food service.
MoreGreat Indian food and nice environment. Ill return.
Excellent ambience.. Great food
Best food served and delicious
Best Indian restaurant in Town
Really indian
👌
Gorgeous, delicate food and wonderful service!
A different version of traditional indian cusine, i recommend the cocktails with specific dishes during your meal.
MoreLoved the ambience and the food...we ordered a roll and a plate of tandoori cauliflowers. I wanted more for portions of the tandoori large plate 😆😆
MoreThey are serving pre-cooked meals. STAY AWAY. Extremely bad service. An absolute waste and failure of a restaurant. Totally pathetic and overly pretentious.
MoreToo pretentious. The staff asked us if we have Checked the images on the web before coming! Are you serious!??
MoreZero value for money.
One of the best fine dining restaurants in Milan. Indian cuisine with a touch of Italian. Highly recommended!
MoreAcceptable food. Unfortunately one of the worst value for money in Milan.
Amazing Indian food with European touch!!!
Incredible and so delicious!
Perfect for lunch.. authentic Indian restaurant
One of the finest Indian restaurants in Milan. The chef Ms. Shivanjali is an amazing host and a brilliant craftswoman. I would really recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.
MoreBeautiful place and great Indian food with italian twist. A must visit when in Milan. The staff and hospitality is great. Thumbs up for Cittamani!
MoreFood not very authentic. Some of the dishes did not taste like what they should. Service was however very good. Good staff.
MoreBeyond expectations...ask anything you want..all yes sir.
Great Indian food .
Finally a London style Indian restaurant in Milan. Trendy environment, very good service, varied choice of excellent cocktails and wines and last but not least a top proposal of refined Indian cuisine that surely will meet expectations for all tastes. Really good it is already one of my preferred resto in milan.
MoreNICE services. Beautiful Restaurant
An amazingly superb restaurant and very differently presented Indian cuisine. We bumped into the restaurant accidentally and had got the chance to this best indian food in the Europe. The ambiance, decor, music, service and of course the food was not only amazing but was completely different and wonderful. We got the chance to meet the chef as well to personally thank and appreciate her food.Later we got to know that we actually enjoyed the food of the chef who cooked for Virat and Anushka’s wedding 😉Awesome experience and a must go..!!!Thanks a lot #Cittamani for the wonderful food.
MoreGo to this restaurant to have an experience keeping aside the nature of traditional Indian food. Very good food quality. Expensive but lets say....money well spent
MoreLove the arancini and avocado shake
Beautiful atmosphere, great service & incredible food! I recommend the “4 boxes” the staff suggested, fish option :they also have vegetarian option. I’ll come back to bring my friends for sure. Highly recommended!!
MoreCame here for lunch. Surprisingly they have dosa here. However it was served as flatly rolled thick masala rava dosa.....without sambar:-((( Clean, good ambience and good service. Medium priced.
MoreNestled in Piazza Mirabello, Cittamani is an experience in itself. Right from spotted floor, the knitted wooden chairs and earthen pots placed on the walls, this restaurant transported me to a summer home somewhere in northern India.Talking about the inspired cuisine, I think the food here is a perfect marriage between two cultures - For starters, I ordered the Stuffed puri, Stracciatella and tomato relish, which tasted fantastic, reminded me of a pizza fritta, next we tried the Biryani of the Day and the Kachori sabzi for mains. The biryani was delicious, fragrant and rich, full of flavour yet light on the pallate. The kachori sabzi was filling, I absolutely loved the pumpkin subzi, sweet and tangy on the same time, perfectly balanced the hearty richness of the kachori. It is almost exciting trying all these dishes in a Fine Dine environment sitting in a noble country away from home. I think Chef Ritu Dalmia has done full justice in preserving the sanctity of both cuisines, which are served on one platter with spot on flavours, bold character and loads of love.My compliments to the chef for an amazing meal and the front of house staff for flawless service, I will definitely be back - Hungry for more.
MoreVery nice place with a good food
Very nice upscale design restourant. Maybe Im not in love with Indian cuisine but I was expecting something more spicy and with curry. Some dish where fine but not all. They are new
