A really amazing park , speaking both in esthetic view and social one, also full of historical meaning, its really big and features a lot of monuments such the soviet and british memorial and even museums inside, a must see !
Very interesting place, with historic places and sculptures. You can have a very nice walk day there.
Very nice park with lot of attractions. Good for biking, dog walking and everything else you might want to do in a park. Lots of military equipment to see.
Nice place for running, biking, picnic.
Amazing park not so far from the city centre. It is so enormous that you can easily find a quiet space to sit and rest. I recommend taking a look at the exhibition on the way to the Umberto restaurant.
One of my all time favourite parks. Very peaceful and lots of wonderful spots. Reminded me of Hampstead Heath!
Nice park, some museums. But would need some more information about the history behind the fort.
Relatively well maintained, authentic park with landmarks of military history. Great for runs and walks. Could be better marked for the spots of interest.
amazing park with lots of path and awesome playgrounds! best playgrounds Ive seen in some parks around Poland. Also, lots of red squirrels 🌰🐿️. only minus is a on the hill and some steps right in the park but was only bothered when it was 30°+ while there
A beautiful, enormous park full of history, plants, gardens and art to see! It takes a bit of time to get around, but you definitely wont be bored!
Massive park, with a huge space to run or cycle around, as well as a very interesting war memorial, which has the tanks, canons, guns and an explanation of the polish army. A small lake and lots to explore hereStrongly recommended for a picnic , or a relaxed few hours
Beautiful park...big, with good spots to chill
Beautiful and full of history. You can visit all year around and never get bored with it. There are old military fort buildings and structures that are still accessible. There is also a military museum with the world war II exhibit (planes and tanks). The park is visited by bike raiders, runners, joggers and walkers. One of the nicest and coolest places and Poznań.
Recreational place! A nice place to escape from the world
Very big amd beautiful even in late winter you see a lot of green so imagine how much greener is going to be during summer. You can walk with your family, friends, skate, ride a bike. There are plenty of paths and things to see around.
Best park in the city. It has everything that a park must have.
Last week in Poznan, spring is in the air and Cytadela is greening up. Great for long and short walks, main alleys and mistery trails, history dips and nature watching. Not to mention a coffee break in Umberto.
Very great place summer or winter to get some fresh air and be in nature.
Very much liked the big beautiful park. Stunning and wonderful, a must visit in the list of every Poznan traveller and nature lover. Unfortunately I could not find time to see park in daylight.
Stunning park, well maintained, with a rich history. You can walk around for an entire afternoon. With around 100 acres really large park, with interesting sites, memorials, World War 2 tanks and planes and memorials.
Around 100ha huge, interesting park- 15 minutes by foot from Old Town. Really good idea to visit it.
Large park with a lot of stuff to see. Beautiful and relaxing.
Very big park. I recommend the cafe Umberto here.
One of the most wonderful places in Poznań. Its not just a park it is also a big part of the history. That was the last fortification point of the city. Now weve got here historical museum, many ruins but also playgrounds, sculptures, monuments, great area for sports and lot of wild nuture including squirels eating from your hand.
One of my favourite places to visit in Poznan. Its not at all crowded and has a tiny cute restaurant in the middle. Although lake is full of broken glass, it looks nice. Has so much space to sit down and have deep conversations with your friends if you have any
Big area of greens, historical monuments, tombs and ponds. Once being a place of historical monuments, for the memory of war, now its a nice open area for family outings. Relaxing nature , with benches, lots of shadows to escape from the heating sun in summers. Very calm , as the area is so big, you wont find it much crowded. Free entry, worth visiting .
Close to old town, a lot of space, small pond, art. One of the most beautiful park in Poland. It is built over an old Prussia fortifications so feel like in a place full of mistery. Great place to chill out or even exercise. A bunch of places are marked as sanitized.
Very beautiful park. It has different amazing views in different seasons. I recommend to visit.
Gorgeous, large park with plenty of beautiful spots including a pond, benches and flowers. Exhibition of military equipment is an interesting addition. There is a bistro where you can enjoy lunch and drinks.
This is the place that everyone should visit in Poznan. In the past, a huge defensive fort from the north of the city.(i)Park Cytadela in Poznań (western Polandis a large park on the site of Fort Winiary, a 19th-century fortified area north of the city centre. It contains a military museum, military cemeteries, and the remains of some of the fortifications. It lies within the Stare Miasto district of the city, south of Winogrady.

Big park with nice kept green. Good walks, lots of outdoor activities, lots of space. Close to the city center.
A very large park with very old and giant trees. There is much exploration to do in this place so come prepared with comfy shoes and water. Artwork is spread out the place although I guess you cannot miss the centre pieces that are...well, in the centre.
Nice place, full of trees and flowers, near to downtown. Well maintained, lot of benches, with many small or big monuments. Besides, it hosts museums, graveyards and much more. People run, walk or just lay around on grass. Its possible to enter this huge area from many sides.
Great place to unwind in Poznan! Easy to reach even on foot from the city centre, cafes, benches, rose garden, monuments. Take a blanket and relax in the sun!
A huge park to rexlax in. Went there on a weekday evening and even though it was really sunny and warm, there werent that many people there. Theres some stuff to explore if you feel like it: The old walls of the fortress (which was destroyed in 1945), some art and two museums.
