Cinema Cafe in Fes
Description
Privilege
Vegetable Tagine was a little bland (lack of spicebut the meatballs in tomatoe sauce was perfect! Nice and clean setting, super friendly staff. Would go back 👍
MoreAbsolutely loved this cafe! My husband and I went here both in the morning and the evening and the staff is superb! The kind and welcoming staff really made the experience great. Highly recommend coming here (especially as a tourist). Thank you!
MoreAfter reading all the great reviews and because this cafe is featured in one of our favorite travel guides we were expecting a lot. The 3 stars are for the exceptional service and cleanliness of the cafe. The food was sadly not good at all and the milkshakes were not thick and creamy but more like flavored milk.
MoreGreat place to eat in Fes! Went there twice during my time in the city. Good price, friendly staff and very good food!
MoreIt was best food in fes, clean, kind and taste good. Especially pizza🍕
Very nice place, cosy, friendly staff, good food (tacos were great!)
We went there three times while staying in Fez, thats how good it was. They serve western food but also Morrocan classics such as the Harira soup or the mint tea. But it really depends who is in the kitchen at the moment - we ordered pasta with tomato sauce three times, and it tasted differently every time, once it was delicious with huge amount of sauce, the other time it was quite overcooked and dry. Also the mushroom pizza didnt have any mushrooms in it. The prices are fair for this area, but you can see it targets mainly tourists. The staff is really friendly, but one star down for the various quality.
MoreGreat vibe, food and drinks are very good with very good prices, would recommend! :)
MoreLoved the variety of food, servers were SO friendly and kind, would absolutely eat here again.
MoreThe food is nice and the service is personalized. Very youthful and kind staff. Recommend a lot
MoreVery charming space with good food quality, affordable and variety for all tastes. Recommended. The workers are really nice and polite.
MoreDecent food, good service, lovely decor. A bit expensive for Fez though.
Cute little spot to escape the madness of Fes. Quick service and quality food! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting :)
MoreFood was tasty, great price, and made fast. Staff spoke English and were very friendly and welcoming.
MoreThe food is OK but works when your kids are tired of Moroccan food and just want a pizza. The pancakes were a big disappointing and very hard, you could barely cut the with a knife! I only am rating it so high due to the familiarity of the food.
MoreVery nice staff and great food with attention to detail. Tbarkelah 3liekoum 🙌
The place is simple and small. You will find perfect service and nice Moroccan food at the right price.
MoreDelicious food and welcoming staff. We got ginger lemonade which was quite refreshing, and their camel burger was so tasty!
MoreKids and wife had the nuttela pancakes and creeps, I had the pizza and it was delicious. And for you Americans that are looking for ice, they gave us a bag for free and said come back anytime if we wanted more 😁😁😁
MoreGreat spot, great staff, delicious food.
Had the Minces meat "Taco". For me its a burrito. Its good, a little dry but comes with sauces and it is tastey on its own anyways. Good location. Street parking.
MoreVery friendly and great food. Our riad recommended for good western food (wraps with fries/pizza/crepesas we didn’t want any more couscous. The waiters helped us get a taxi to the airport too which was very kind.
MoreThey have kitchen all day long so that’s a plus! Not just Moroccan food but also European style. Great people, nice service, good food and clean. Recommended!
MoreFood is amazing, the staff is friendly, and this aesthetic is nice 🙌🏼 And Youssef should get a raise 😁
MoreBest place in Fes. Kindest team in the city, very very kind and the food is truly amazing and tasty. You have to eat here to discover the best experience in the city.
MoreBest food in Fes. We visited here multiple times during our stay on Fes. Great food, service and hospitality. Ussef in particular was incredibly friendly. Definitely try the camel burger which comes with hand cut chips and great sauces too! They also do fresh orange juice and crepes.
MoreWe went here multiple times during our visit of Fes and absolutely loved it. The service, location and food were perfect. Especially if you want to eat something other than the typical moroccan food. Great vegetarian options, too!
MoreGood food and nice place. Best decision I made between other touristic restaurants.
MoreAmazing place, special food and very friendly and nice staff. The menu has both moroccan and european food for those who are tired of maroccan specialities. The place is super clean. Always recommended
MoreThe kitchen was closed for the staff to break fast as it was Ramadan, but they were happy to have us join them in the ifkar(?buffet they had instead. The food was a nice variety and really tasty. Before we left we saw some regular dishes coming out of the kitchen and they all looked great. Wed eaten at another place in the Medina the night before that did similar food, but the quality and portions at Cinema Cafe were much bigger and better. Would 100% recommend over any other place we tried - be careful of the popular ones in the Medina
MoreStaff were absolutely brilliant and we came a few times during our stay in Fes. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food was delicious and at a good price. On our last day, the staff were very happy to print off our boarding passes for us even though we werent staying in their hotel. Very welcoming environment and would definitely recommend for some great orange juice and lunch!
MoreThis is a hidden little eating place in Fes and is excellent. Staff are very helpful speak very good English and give a good welcome! They serve Earl grey and English breakfast tea and its delicious. The pizzas are very good and the panna cotta desert is fab. Highly recommend
MoreDelicious food! Best we had in a while:)
We had beef tanjine and creme brulee. The tanjine is good enough but meat tenderness can be improved. Would come back for the Avocado shake and nice staff/service.
MoreYum! We stopped by close to closing, and staff was super warm and welcoming. My partner had the camel burger and raved about it! The date smoothie was super yummy too! Definitely a nice spot.
MoreLovely little place staffed by very friendly and welcoming young people. Bright and modern cafe concept with well priced dishes. Recommended
MoreVery nice marrocan breakfast, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed the marrocan spiced coffee, the Berber eggs and the vegetarian pastilla. I can highly recommend that cafe for a cozy breakfast or afternoon snack :)
MoreWe ended our trip in Fes by having a meal here, which ended up being quite elaborate yet quite reasonably priced. The food was quite delicious and we also got to watch some television about Fes tourism. Overall, it was a really great experience and the ambience was also quite different.
MoreMy son and I had a great experience here. The food was great, the staff spoke English, and they have WiFi. This made a good soft landing in Fes, especially with a child.
MoreBEST-PLACE-EVER: the food is really great. As much as the service. Really good place and better music. The restaurant is clean and they are meticulous with details.
MoreWhen you’re in Morocco for two weeks, you’re more than happy, overwhelmed in fact to see French fries on a menu or even a pizza. I had the ‘taco’ - it’s more of a toasted wrap than a taco but good all the same. The Date milkshake was perfect to wash it down and the staff are super friendly
MorePlaces in Morroco that serve warm bread...MMM!Places in the Fez Medina that serve breakfast early...far and few between!Eggs with spice and taste...also far and few!Come check out the berber eggs here. Good breakfast in an area/ town lacking great options. They also have the tasty runny Moroccan almond paste :).Vibes are alright too, as it was a former cinema.
MoreIf you want to have a good culinary experience in Fez this is the place. Nice environment with European Standards. Recommended 100% , they have also henné tattoo and Arabic calligraphy as cultural activities.
MoreOrdered “Tacos” on their menu but their interpretation of that is a Burrito. I asked to confirm if this is a Taco, and they concurred. They stuff fries inside their burrito, strange combination. Burrito tastes not bad though, but was not expecting something else than a taco.
MorePleasant atmosphere, great staff, good location.Food is tasty and not expensive. Theres wide range of food choices, form Italian pasta&pizza to traditional Moroccan dishes. There are interesting options with Camel meat in burger or tajine.Would recommend Camel tajine and Moroccan soup, both were delicious. 😊
MoreRelaxed place that offers a variety of tasty Moroccan and Western food, including a few vegetarian options. Cool atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices. If youre wandering around the Medina unsure of what to eat, this place is worth a try. Theres a good chance youll find something on the menu you like.
MoreNothing special. If you come here for the paninis I would recommend you to have a much better sandwich on the street with Moroccan bread and minced meet cooked right in front of you for only MAD10! In case of ordering a tagine any other place should have better and more authentic options.
MoreMmmm. What to say? Is this just a smaller knock-off of clock cafe? Is seems so if you look at the menu...We just had coffee, tea and cheesecake. Latte was big and very nice. Not impressed by the dessert.
MoreThis place deserves 5 stars for several reasons: 1. Staff wont pull you from the street to eat at their place. 2. Service was excellent and very friendly. 3. Different food cuisines are available apart from the usual couscous and tajine. 4. The place was very inviting and cosy. 5. Food was excellent and was not expensive! (8 euro per person on average!)
MoreGood food, amazing service and good prices. We ordered a chicken panini and the meat was not cooked. We told this to the waiters and they immediately reacted and brought a new one with a lot of apologies. Really recommend this place for a lunch or dinner. Best regards to the waiters!
