Cinco Quinas in Portimao
Description
Privilege
A great place to visit on Alvor beach. Good food and drink and always a friendly welcome.
MoreAbsolutely loved this beach bar, my favourite on Praia de Alvor. Most refreshing Super Bock I had whilst on vacation. The food was delicious and in the perfect setting, just off the beach. Great, attentive service.Definitely go for the Octopus Lagareiro style, you will not regret it 🤌🏼
MoreWe have had lunch here twice and both times the meals were lovely and tasty. The staff are extremely helpful and efficient. Great setting too 👌
MoreGreat food and and and located on the beach what more can you ask for
Friendly staff , great with kids
It was a great experience. The food is great, and the people is nice
Food was awful and staff unfriendly. My husband reckons it’s the worst burger he’s ever had and it certainly looked it. Tasteless carbonara, like eating sloppy spaghetti, definitely €31 badly spent, couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
MoreFamily meal. Kids loved the children breast. Best meal according to them. Nice and relaxed
MorePerfect restaurant for lunch by the sea. Great food and service.
Had dinner with friends there. Amazing location and super close to the beach. The waiters were friendly and welcoming. The food variety is wide. I had the fried fish Portuguese style, which was really tasty and authentic.
MoreNice staff, convenient location close to beach. Good portions. Just as good as last year
MoreGreat location, gorgeous food. Garlic prawns were amazing, we went 3 times in one trip!
MoreRecommended this place by some people. Staff were nice hence the 2 stars but the food and chef is really clueless and lacks care. The childrens menu for fish fingers is straight out of lidl freezer, chips frozen no care at all. I mean really is it that hard to prepare some fresh fish goujons even from a cheap white local fish. ? I has salmon with garlic sauce, again terrible frozen chips, a side salad out of lidl and a vat of olive oil with some burnt garlic and lemon in a dish. The salmon wasnt a fillet at almost 16 euro. A lazy untrained chef works here. Were not looking for Michelin star food but my god a seafood restaurant serving frozen produced fish fingers , come on. Also overpriced. Better food and value up in Alvor.
MoreStaff is very nice and the food is very tasty!!
Very nice foodVery fair pricingExcellent staff
Dinner for two with the extremely friendly and attentive staff. It was a late January Sunday night and it was quiet. The food was simply superb. We Shared a monkfish Cataplan stuffed with prawns, clams monkfish and a beautiful vegetable stew.Wonderful food and staff. Thank you
MoreGreat people great food great views.
21 degrees on the beach, lovely sardines and local dishes coupled with great wine and great ambience in the most relaxing meal you could wish for, thank you! !
MoreLovely spot to sit and watch the sun go down with a cheeky drink
Best cataplana in town. It is monkfish, clams, prawns (massive), potato, onion, peppers, cooked in a copper dish with a sauce to die for. Enjoy that overlooking the beach, with the famous Alvor sunset happening around you!! So much more than just a beach bar!!
MorePerfect for lunch and diner on the beach. There are nice sunbeds te rent.
Fab little beach restaurant. Super friendly service, fresh and flavoursome food with a lovely view. What more do you need?!
MoreNice beachside restaurant and bar. Decent food, friendly services.
Excellent meal, super soup and great steaks and exemplary service.
The best restaurant along the beach here, at least in my opinion.Food is very good, the view is nice and the people are friendly.
MoreThe waiter made disrespectful comments towards our baby when he spilled a bit of water. Also made comments about us needing a babysitter. So disrespectful. Got up and left. I hope this tall and dark hair waiter is fired, he certainly deserves it
MoreGreat beach bar, friendly family run business. Lovely food and served with a smile! Great location
MoreHad a wonderful lunch a few weeks ago and returned for a second lunch today. We were not disappointed! Both food and service were great. Good place to have fish and seafood, location is amazing and very friendly service.
MoreVery pleasant family run beach restaurant in Alvor. Always with friendly service. Great for lunch.Make sure to choose fresh fish, have it grilled (and deboned by the staff), served with boiled potatoes, vegetables and a salad. Make sure to get some vinho verde to accompany the fish. And for dessert I would highly recommend the fig and alfarroba cake. You will not regret it.If you feel for some exercise after the meal, you can enjoy a brisk walk on the Alvor Boardwalk & Estuary Trail.
MoreWe have eaten here for years and I cant recommend it enough. Be patient and book a table. My personal recommendation is 5 cinco prawn and pasta. Excellent.
MoreGreat place to gra a quick drink. The place is rather small - despite that, you may wait a little while before the food gets to you.
MorePoor service, didnt ask if meal was ok, didnt ask If we wanted another bottle wine, water, didnt offer desserts. However Portuguese guests served all of the above despite us being in before them and having prebooked what a let down. Wont be going there again having been going over 7 years!
MoreLight breakfast.. it was delicious with excellent views of the sea ... could have stayed there forever
MoreCheese and ham toasties and couple of beers were spot on! Staff lovely, great happy vibes and great location - recommend
MoreBest food on earth . All the staff phenomenal. Nice to be treated like good freinds
MoreDecent Seafood - Worth visiting pricing reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.Visited in winter. Nice to find that its open till 8pm in winter as many places are closed or shut very earlyVisited twice in same day.1st time to have beer and sopa di pixie. Just a snack. Soup wasnt just a purée, but had fish meat in it. Nicely made.2nd time came in the late afternoon to have proper evening meal. BBQ Seafood kebab (chose to have a mix of shell, squid and fishexcellent having a good quantity and variety. Decent amount and variety of fresh vegetables. Also had the seafood cataplana for one which had a lovely variety of seafood and decent amount, together with potatoes. This was ample for one. Overall lovely experience.Much better than ANY seafood restaurant in the UK. Note to UK restaurants: people who grow up with seafood KNOW when its fresh and when its not. And they know the difference between its touched ice and it was frozen. And seafood means more than just fish.
MoreTasty food - we had cataplana and everything was fresh.Clean and pleasant atmosphere.
MoreFresh and delicious. Highly recommend cataplanas. Cosy, clean and quiet. Real Portuguese dishes!
MorePleasant little restaurant on the beachfront, good food, friendly service reasonable prices.Accessible from the boardwalk along the Praia d Alvor, but also by car...very close to the beach car park.Good views over the dunes and out to sea with the lights of Lagos across the bay. Good place to enjoy a sundowner!
MoreChicken burgers r not to be eaten at all costs, I wouldnt feed me dog them, two of the lads had steak and enjoyed. But avoid them burgers
MoreFantastic food , especially the peri peri chicken which was delicious . The views are great . The price of the local beer super bowl was more than a little disappointing . All in all a nice beach side restaurant
MoreNice place to have a meal on the beach. Good value for money. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
MoreBest food in town and very lovely staff.
This is our go to place for a relaxed but yummy meal. Its popular as a snack bar for those coming off of the beach but also serves the freshest fish and meat dishes. The menu is in several languages and the staff also speak several languages. Love this place.
MoreFish Cataplana was only just ok nothing special but sole fillets were a soggy mess- very poor and probably from the freezer centre. Suggest the chef follows the cooking instructions more carefully! This was supposed to be a special meal - Shame!
MoreOne of my favourite restaurants to visit for Lunch in Alvor. We are always welcomed so warmly. The food is delicious and a great choice of dishes for all. Very reasonable. The sangaria is always good too. We will be back again on the next visit.
MoreGreat views, Great choice menu, especially seafood, Monk fish Cataplana for either one or two people is fantastic, (Sea food Heavenpolished off with Great Service. Highly recommended. We will return. Happy days .
MoreNice restaurant with good food, reasonable prices but quite a long waiting time. But hey - we are on vacation so why hurry?
MoreLovely food and amazing views. Moderate priced. Kids are welcome. Good toilet facilities. Felt very safe.
MoreVery tasty Italian food !extremely busy so if you are planing to go to this place you might wanna call and book table. We have done so but still waited 30 min for table another 10 mind for menu. The food came relatively quick to our table so you forget the waiting time as the taste makes you feel satisfied.
