Refined rotating restaurant atop Hôtel le Concorde offering elevated bistro fare & bird's-eye views.
Ciel! Bistro-bar in Lévis
Description
Privilege
Very nice restaurant. Ciel means sky in French. The restaurant spin in the "sky" and you can see the whole city during your meal. Very nice concept. The food was very good, small gourmet portions. The service was great. We ordered dessert, expecting a small portion, but it was bigger than expected. The whole meal including tip and one alcoholic beverage cost $80 per person. Which is good for the quality of the establishment.
MoreCool atmosphere, make a reservation if you want to sit next the window. Good service. Menu did not offer a variety of options.
MoreWaitress was amazing service was quick other staff helped out each other... View was amazing.. we just showed up and they gave us a seat
MoreSuperb food with amazing views. The food was very tasty and served with elegance. The service extremely friendly. From the moment you walk in till you leave people are very attentive. To top it the views from the 360 revolving restaurant makes it one of the best experiences in Quebec City.
MoreThe views are incredible. One of the guest did not enjoyed what she ordered and the server noticed. She did not want to make a "fuzz". But the waiter made sure her meal was adjusted in less than 5 minutes and her meal was one of the best ordered by our table. Very attentive. Love the mushroom option.
MoreGreat spot with an amazing view of Quebec City! The entire restaurant rotates so youre always going to have a great view while you dine! The wait staff were amazing and incredibly friendly. The food was good, although nothing overly special. Their drink menu was also great, they have a sangria which was probably the best Ive ever had. However, the staff/customer service and view are what make this restaurant so special! Highly recommended for a nice dinner!
MoreThe view is impeccable. The food & service were both great as well, just book in advance.Minor issue was that it was really, really, really hot when we just came in in the late afternoon
MoreAmazing Dinner! I had the Coq a Vin chicken, which is exceptional. The chicken itself is tender. With the use of creamy cauliflower purée, the sautéed vegetable and the rich sauce, the chef created an art of flavor. I 100% recommend the place! On top of that, the view of Quebec City from dusk to evening is breathtaking!
MoreMy halibut was soggy, my husbands porc was unedible due to the thick layer of fat!!!! The waitress was wonderful and gave us a discount, however we wont be returning.
MoreGreat ambience with friendly staff. Good food and quality. However, there are limited options for vegetarian folks.
MoreWe ate here to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. The views are spectacular as the restaurant rotates above the city. The service and food are both excellent. Truly, a fine dining experience!
MoreThe sights of the place are spectacular both in the afternoon and at night, love that it was revolving since you can appreciate the views of the entire city. Also the staff is very friendly, the service very good.
MoreThis was second visit and they did not disappoint again! Their menu for brunch is simple but delicious. It is highly recommended to make your reservation well in advance.
MoreGreat place to have breakfast brunch and have an outstanding view of Quebec City. The only revolving restaurant in the city that gives you these amazing views of the mountains, the St-Laurence river and the Château Frontenac with the Citadel. If you want a table by the window make sure to reserve a lot in advance.Food is really good too, portions are big and the prices are a bit more expensive than elsewhere but you pay premium for the view!
MoreRotated restaurant with a clear view of the city . Whole circle I suppose lasts one hour and a half. Its enough time to enjoy the view. What about food.im not impressed. We ordered a soup.Soup was OK. A rabbit liver with potatoes salad. ( Two dry pieces of liver with quite sour salad((((. A duck.Duck was OK as well. So,if you in a Quebec city as a tourist, try to book this bar to enjoy the panorama of the city.
MoreJust had dinner with my family and had a wonderful time, staff was very friendly with us and my 2 years old daughter, i’ll go back for brunch next time 😋
MoreAwesome service, fantastic view and oh, don’t miss the “Le Gratte Ciel” in the BRUNCH menu!
MoreGreat view over the Quebec City for sure . Food was good - monk fish highly recommended. Elevator was funky…. A hundred people lined up waiting for one slow elevator, which was just crazy.. not the restaurant’s fault tho.
MoreThe standouts at Ciel! were the service and the view. Michael, our server, provided a memorable evening for us. The kitchen provides creative dishes (mushroom entree was outstandingbut the halibut was a bit dry and the London Broil tough. To be clear, this restaurant should not be missed. Just noting that the Chef has a lot of competition, with the service and ambience, for high marks.
MoreOutstanding brunch! Make a reservation if you want a window table (but even the other tables offer great views). Food was nutritious, creative, and presented well. Service was top notch. Price was reasonable.
MoreVery limited menu but good taste and great views. Rotating restaurant with great views of Quebec City. Great if they can extend the menu to have more Vegetarian Choices and other items.
MoreOriginally I thought this would be a gimmicky restaurant where the food did not match the ambiance of the restaurant. I was wrong. We ordered the mock tails and bourgots for starters, duck, halibut, and arctic char for entrees, and blueberry cheesecake and lemon peanut pie for dessert. Flavors were spot on, and the service impeccable. The view from above was an added bonus. Highly recommended for visitors and romantics.
MoreThe place looks a little run down and is in desperate need of repairs. But the dining experience here and value you get for your money, is top notch. Had dinner here and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and the flavors. The views are obviously the highlight of your meal and keep you entertained as you enjoy the cuisine.
MoreBeautiful restaurant, that has unsurpassed views of Quebec and a dining floor that rotates for a 360 degree view during dining. The food was quite excellent, and the prices extremely reasonable. Overall a highly recommended experience. Great for all occasions.
MoreOur dinner was expensive but I feel it was worth it! We ordered beer, wine, and a mixed drink and they were all great. Good selection! We had a starter of local cheeses which were delicious and we all loved meals. Two of us had the market price fish, One had the pork dish, And the other had the regular fish offering on the menu. Vegetables and sauces were unique and very complementary to the protein. Recently other restaurants I have visited had Bread that did not add to the enjoyment of the meal but here the bread basket was put on the table warm and the bread was tasty! Staff were friendly and our waiter was a lot of fun and helped make the night a great experience.
MoreAmazing 360 views of Quebec including Chateau Frontenac, Lile dOrleans, Levis, Citadel, Plains of Abraham. The view was worth the price. However, some of the foods on the menu could be better.I had the charcuterie board. For the $$$ price it should have included some cheeses. Plus the bread/crackers that came with the charcuterie board was rock hard.
MoreI went for dinner yesterday evening, of course mainly to enjoy the experience of the rotating resto and the great view, at sunset it was amazing. But I was also positively impressed by the food (soup of the day, cuisse poulet and eclair and good wine). Thumbs up also for my waitress, her service was top! Overall a great experience I recommend in Quebec, it’s a bit pricey but worth the view you get.
MoreBeautiful place with a gorgeous view. The restaurant is rotating - you should be able to do a full circle during one dinner.Food is pretty expensive there but the quality is superb, worth every penny!Very professional service. We went there for our anniversary and we got a free dessert as a suprise, nice touch.
MoreHighly recommend the chicken dish, it was falling off the bone. As for the appetizers, skip the smaller dishes and focus of a charcuterie board that can be customized with your choice of cheeses. The bourgot pictured was super chewy, wish we had more cheese instead! All in all recommend this place for the gorgeous view and experience.
MoreAmazing view and great food. Great place to bring friends and family for special occasions.
MoreRotating restaurant is a very nice experience with a great view. Menu is perfect: not too much choices and for every taste (vegetarian, fish and meat options). Beautiful presentation of the plates and it’s delicious. Waiter was amazing. Put that in your to do list when you visit Quebec City!
MoreIt was my long weekend trip to Quebec and my birthday at the same time.My daughter reserved the table for me to have dinner at amazing place. I have been there before but it is always a great experience to get a chance to eat at this beautiful place
MoreIt was my first time experiencing a 360 turning restaurant, quite unique experience and the view is stunning 🤩. I highly recommend the “lemon & peanut pie” for dessert, not overly sweet and right among if sourness from lemon is 🤤
MoreAmazing brunch, reasonable prices and a great view. What more can you ask for?The staff are very friendly and outgoing and the service is great. Wide selection of choice for brunch with twists on classics. The view is great and its located close to other great attractions in Quebec City. Would highly recommend.
MoreA very unique dining experience with nothing short of a beautiful view. It’s certainly a well known spot for both tourists and locals. Having a table right beside the window is where you would want to be as it gives you all of the views! The drinks and service were both good, however, we found the food to just be so so. The kitchen had a hard time accommodating our modifications/requests as a result of an intolerance.I would suggest Le Ciel for a drink and maybe a small appetizer. We have also heard many great things about the Brunch menu.
MoreFantastic! They speak English - you can request a server who speaks English so that made our experience amazing. Great food, great view, and the prices are actually very reasonable given this is upscale. You can pay just as much for dinner and not get this fantastic view. Photos of the chicken on the menu, the pudding is the desert for kids meal (they have a kids menu which is perfectand the other is a desert i forget the name of. Will return and have recommended to all our friends. Tip: book your reservations well in advance. Especially to get the time slot you want.
MoreIncredible view, but aggressively average dishes and drinks. It’s a very nice spot for tourists and I’d recommend going for a drink with someone or to share a small appetizer, but don’t make it your dinner plans if you’re looking for a great meal (especially with all the amazing choices in the city). Note: The weakest point of the menu I tasted was the steak, which felt very chewy and average for the price.
MoreWhat a restaurant - superb food, staff, views! We came here to celebrate our last meal in Quebec city and our 1st anniversary. The staff were courteous and were kind enough to place us on a table right next to the window. Our waiter was quite friendly and helped us make the right selections for food & drinks. The cocktails were perfect to quench us from the hot summer day. We then ordered the food that hit the right spots. Finally our waiter surprised us with an anniversary cake with a cracker candle which made our evening. This was the perfect place for us to end our post-covid honeymoon in Quebec city. One drawback - the queues in the hotel reception were super long to get into the elevators but we called the restaurant to let them know we will be late.
MoreAbsolutely our best restaurant experience during our stay in Quebec City. We made reservations and got a window seat. The staff were all friendly from when we were greeted to when we were leaving. The view was fantastic. We were on a rotation and when we got there it was cloudy but by sunset, the clouds cleared and we got a better view. The food was delicious. We got the only vegetarian option on the menu. There was only the one vegetarian main option in addition to a few appetizer options. We asked our server about vegetarian options and he mentioned the ones on the menu. It seemed they have a lot of unique meat options. Nonetheless we very much enjoyed the meal. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our server surprised us with a cookie with mousse and it was very rich and creamy. We will definitely be coming back during our next visit to Quebec. Hoping they have more vegetarian options next time!
MoreFirst time there and won’t be the last! I was blown away by the service, the atmosphere and the view. The food is A+. A little pricey but worth the treat once in a while.Definitely, one of my favorite restaurant in Quebec.
MoreAmazing viewThe food was tasty - we went for lunch and I ordered green salad with chicken wings. The quantity was very less for chicken wings so I ordered one more wings and after waiting for 20mints staff came to me and said sorry! the chicken is frozen so we can’t prepare right now, you can order something else. Which was turn off .you can go here just to see the 360 view with food and drinks. Thought the staff was very humble and prompt.
MoreThis place is definitely worth it! You can get a beautiful 360 degree view of Quebec City while enjoying your delicious meal. The beef croquette and the apple risotto were excellent appetizers to start the meal. The risotto was creamy and very well flavoured while the croquette was crunchy and had a meaty richness. The main dishes were the highlights of the meal. The chicken ballotine was incredibly tender and the sauce paired very well with the chicken. The scallops were also delicious. They were pan fried to perfection and tasted delicious with their own house smoked bacon. The corn salad was also a nice added touch to the dish and prevented it from being too overwhelming.Overall, it was an incredible dining experience and I would definitely recommend coming here!
MoreYou have do it at least once in your life !The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the food is extraordinary delicious.Try the brunch (vegetarians burger or the salmon). If you want a beautiful view m, try to book a place next to the windows.
MoreMust have experience when you are in Quebec. Bird’s eye view for the whole Quebec. What a beautiful city! What beautiful season! I love all the colorful trees. The lentil soup was delicious. The horse tenderloin was a little raw for me but it was delicious and tender. Our waiter was very friendly. Highly recommended!
MoreThe view and the experience was really good. The servers were really nice. However, the foie gras I ordered didn’t sit well in my stomach. Had to puke on the street. Also, the ravioli veggie dish was okay. Not the best for the expensive price tag. You can do better.
MoreThe view itself makes the restaurant worth it. It is an amazing experience to be able to get a 360 Arial view of Quebec City. Even more so, the food was excellent. I ordered a the butchers special and got an amazing cut of duck that just melted in my mouth and an incredible garnish of vegetables and bacon that had so much flavor. The raspberry pudding was so incredible. Everything I ate had superb flavor to it. Restaurants with this nice of a view and food generally charge much more!
MoreI am absolutely delighted from this place. Where should I start. Of course, there is the fantastic 360 degrees View over Québec as the restaurant is located on the 27th floor of a skyscraper and the area, where the tables are, is rotating. Witin 1.5 hours, you do a complere turn around the tower. This alone is worth the visit. The restaurant itself is also outstanding. The staff is really friendly and caring. The plates are delicious and the ingrediants are in perfect harmony. Even the presentation is really nice. The whole package comes, of course, with a certain price. It was not cheap, but totally worth is considering what you get for it.
MoreA place boasting such views will always attract customers, so one might think the quality of the food that is served here is not of the highest importance. One couldnt be more wrong if one assumed that! I had a fantastic brunch on Easter Sunday here. Thank you for making my stay in Quebec city even more enjoyable!
MoreThe four stars go to the view, the waiter and the cocktail.Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Having said that, the set lunch was only ~CAD30 so i would recommend you to visit just to enjoy the view. (Or perhaps try their dinner.Shout-out to the bartender - the negroni I had was on point! (And apparently the gin used was made in Quebec!)
MoreRevolving restaurants are a favourite of mine and this was a nice one; some of them are sub-par and hope to coast by on just the novelty and views. Not Ciel. It was lovely and delicious. But, its nearly ALWAYS crowded, so make a reservation several days in advance. I wasnt blown away by the food nor the views, but Im still glad I went. Oh! And the prices are surprisingly reasonable!
