It’s a good place, easy access not for every one( no wheelchair access). The space could be better. They could put a restaurant on the area to chill for a few seconds. There is a lot of people trying to guide you but they don’t have any idea of the history of the area. They should put some security agent in other to feel safer.

The waterfall is beautiful. However is is not a clean as one would expect an important religious site would be. The young men insisting on being your guide can be a nuissance and dampen the whole experience.

Bring a camera and wear clothes you dont mind getting wet. Beautiful beautiful views. The natives will walk down the staircase pathway with you and help you up to the waterfall. (Be sure to leave them a tipTheyll take your pictures for you as well.

Stunning falls within 90 minutes of Port au Prince. Pay a couple of dollars to the gatekeeper and enjoy the wooded grounds that lead to the lower pools of the falls. Youll see locals in varying degrees of undress splashing in the cold water.This is a sacred spot for Vodou practicioners, so youll see prayer candles stuck in the rocks around the area. Nice resting places on the trails.Not handicap/stroller friendly! And its a good little treck back up to the parking area.
