Retail mall in the city centre, with department store and fashion shops, plus dining options.
Nice stores in a pleasant setting. The food court can be improved
Still a varied assortment of shops to peruse. Brighton Council trying their best to stop this though with their anti car crusade and exorbitant car park prices. Almost as cheap to visit London
Mary the pharmacist was lovely, she helped me with my medication and I will definitely go back again!
A great place to shop at the mall, loads of variety and great places to eat on the 3rd floor, lots of clothes and jewellery shops to choose from, probably something for everyone. I love beautiful Brighton but then Im biased as Im a brightonian!!!
A good range of shops that you would normally find in such a mall. If you want alternative shops that Brighton offers you will have to venture out.
Good shopping centre, car park spelled of wee. Only one main lift in the shopping area that seems to decide on its own where it goes half the time and lots of need for it especially those of us with babies. Shops are good. Food selection good. Car park fairly expensive.
To be honest I was surprised how much was there. A decent shopping centre.
The mall really misses Debenhams and Boarders. Its a shame only one set of toilets are open but, in the age of cost cutting, I guess it has to be so. The car park charges are huge. The place is clean and bright, and a good place to visit when its raining.
Ok as far as shopping centres go. Probably get what you want there all under cover. Nothing special, but even if you use it as a cut through its interesting to see what is there.
Went to Zara home, very nice well priced, also apple store, looked at the new iPhone 14 pros and the new iPhone watches, very nice store, also visited H&M clothing shop and Zara all good, some really nice stuff
The shops are OK, but my god the toilets in this mall are horrific. Old, broken and dirty. Please invest in better toilets
This sums up Churchill Square. They frankly dont care for their customers. Toilets closed for months. Other toilets vile and a huge queue. Best avoid.
Its great for an small mall, large variety of shops and is well positioned in the city.
May be one of the major shopping malls in brighton and hove. You may find everything here as you need. I went there several times and it was possible to spend the whole day. Even the outdoor plaza is amazing.
All the standard facilities and many of the regular, popular shops and stores, with an eclectic collection of restaurants and eating outlets. Something for everybody.
Its a pretty neat shopping centre, quite small though, and parking is expensive. Kind of bummed I didnt get to see Winston Churchill though.
Make sure you don’t need the toilet before visiting and best visited without a buggy/wheelchair.How the design of this shopping mall ever got the green light is beyond my comprehension. It has ONE lift in the middle of the mall, which gives access up and down the floors for those with babies or those with mobility issues. As you can imagine on a packed weekend, you can spend a lot of your time queuing for this lift - what a tragic oversight. In regards to the toilets, they have public ones located in two separate places. This simply isn’t enough and you can be left queuing for ages. To make matters worst one of them forever seems to be out of action, which leaves far too much traffic for the one left in action. The guys queues are naturally a bit quicker, I feel for the ladies as the queue can sometimes be 30-60 or more.I never write reviews for things, so if you see this negative review, it’s my debut, and one I swore I would write after being blown away at how abysmal the design of this shopping mall is; and that’s coming from a construction engineer.
In the apocalypse Id make Tiger my hide out and build a fort out of kitchen utensils. As a Mall though Id like to see more palm and maybe a soft play area. Sometimes I looking off into the distance over the water and think what ever happened to Spud u like. Hopefully the food court expansion which meet expectations. Love the new security uniform but not sure why they dont unionise. John had me at Churchill the square part is a buzz kill. 🌾
Ok shops were ok not really much to catch ny intrested brighton has become a boring town the shopping centre is small and all the shops over priced
Good shopping centre reasonable parking fees and bathrooms on site although there were huge queues as Brighton has no public bathrooms for some reason. Good range of shops and places to eat and drink.
Still loving this shopping mall, mainly because of Hollister and the shoe shops. It is a pity that so many lots are vacant at the moment. Big brands left the mall over the past months, please find a way to attract new and interisting brands (even maybe pop up shops)Contact me if you need help :)
It’s got all the shops you may need, it’s always kept clean and with lots of security employed. 4 stars are for the insufficient toilet facilities. They got one toilet closed and they can’t keep up with demand. There’s always a 20+ minute queue for ladies and a 5+ minute queue for the gents.
Depressing little shopping centre that consists of mostly shoe shops and jewellery/watch shops. If you want to know how much pride or respect for customers any kind of establishment has, start with the customer facilities.Absolutely disgusting! Legitimately some of the worst public toilets Ive ever used. If I was one of the stores with 10 grand watches in my window, Id be disgusted with what the Churchill Square owners think is acceptable for my potential customers. Its almost as if they are actively trying to chase them off!Urinals that look worse than a pig trough, that overflows so often there is a permanent urine puddle stain on the floor. Cubicles that look as though they have never been cleaned. A smell so bad Ive literally seen people gagging as they enter. Huge queue to get in because there isnt an adequate amount of facilities. There are two locations for toilets within the mall, you will normally only find one open at a time, which contributes to the problem with the large queues, especially for the female toilets. There used to be a stair lift for the toilets that required stairs, but this was removed some time ago, so if you have mobility issues, you will have to walk a maze through the food area first. Clearly whoever runs the place, does not give a toss about the people who shop there.I honestly dont know why the customers accept this treatment. Maybe theyve never been to another shopping centre anywhere else and think this is standard, but its not! Its blatant disrespect!
Great location within walking distance to either the Brighton station or the beach front. The mall itself isnt particularly big, yet it offers more than several big name stores not seen elsewhere south of London.
Seemed like a nice place, plenty of shops and places to eat in here, also right on the high street.
Very clean and customer friendly shopping complex . There are about two public toilets. Lots of shops from clothing, health , beauty, bookstores such a wide variety to cater for all taste. PARKING is very extortionate and make the shopping experience really rushed.
Cafe, paddling pool, bandstand, miniature railway and of course the legendary park run every Saturdays morning at 9.00am makes this place unmissable👏👏
I love Churchill shopping! Theres lots of shops in the centre, which is located over three levels. There is also a food hall on the top floor.MOST buses run through Hove stop at Churchill Square.Whats more is when you leave theres Brighton, more shopping!Theres also pubs/cafes on either side and a big M&S opposite!
Could be more variety in terms of shops. All the brands one would expect but nothing much beyond that. The food court could do with a fresh outlook too. Not much place to sit. And outside upstairs seating should be looked after again. Its not looking good.
Was always been very good centre I both our shoeses. It is handy having food upstairs.
For a busy mall you would expect more than 1 set of restrooms open & not using Pride as an excuse.
Good place, clean and good selection of shops. Did witness a few idiots around and maybe a bit more of a security presence could help but we had a good day. The Car park is great and fair price. Will come again.
Great selection of stores. A massive Zara and H&M as well as a Lego store and lots of clothes and shoe shops. Food court on top floor with toilet which where ok but had quite large ques. Place seemed pretty clean.
Parking was expensive at £4.50 for 2 hours, car park was practically full despite the sign saying there were over 100 spaces. Shopping centre wasnt overly busy. Lots of shops to look in but wasnt overly impressed by any of them.
Excellent choice of all different kinds of shops and includes a food court on the top floor. Its located right in the centre of the city
Great place to park if you are planing to visit Brighton beach. Plenty of security and good parking spaces.Good places to eat. The only issue are the toilettes with weird places and not many available.
"Budol" (being persuaded/forced to buyfor shoes is real in this shopping mall! A lot of known shoe shops are available here, and with enough effort, youll find shoes that are branded, beautiful and cheap, assuming that you come at the time of a sale.
Really good choice of shops with most of my favourite shops here. Only downside for me is how far you have to walk to get to the toilets and probably not enough of them for a shopping centre of this size.
Not much to say really, apart from the toilets are foul. I have smelt better alleyways compared to Churchills toilets. The stores are limited and theres nothing much to keep you there, we normally only go through to access the car park.
It a nice center. Parking is to expensive by at least a factor of two. Still shops you expect and even bubble tea....yes the bubble tea go the place a star on its own 😁
Always previously enjoyed coming down to brighton to look round the shops and always felt safe in churchill square. But the last time i visited i only went in to use the loo (hadnt even started my shopping!Im disabled and carry a radar key so i used my own radar key to open the female disabled toilets (i was being watched and judged by nasty women in the queue for the main loosbut i went in. As i came out i went to shut and lock the door behind me but before i could a women pushed past me and forced the door open - i yelled at her oi you need a radar key to go in there but she slammed the door shut screaming i dont care. She frightend me and nearly trapped my fingers in the door bit as she forced the door open as i was trying to shut it she bent & twisted my wrist which badly hurt me. I was left shaking - went to customer services as wanted to ensure it was reported they got security within 10seconds the lady took all my details and then just let me walk off on my own so shaken up! No one offered to call me a taxi or phone a friend or family member for me - no one even bothered to ask what conditions i suffer with i walk with wheels so a mobility issue is obvious. I felt that was really badly disgraceful of churchill squares part but i thought they would ring me to then follow tis inccident up only they never have. They clearly do not care about a disabled person getting practically assuaulted while out shopping and dont bother to follow these things up. I was so shaken at the time i told them not too worry about calling thr police but with hindsight they should have done - im not even sure why they asked me should been automatic to call the police! I now dont feel safe going anywhere on my own thank you churchill square for ruining any confidence i have spent years building back up so i can go out on my own.
Theres just something lovely about Brighton including shopping which I personally loathe however, it was a build Bear day. Which I do highly recommend. The staff were great and also a big bling Brighton sign right beside which meant we got some insta worthy pic as its all about the gram right?
As always this place is busy and overpriced. There was a lot of litter blowing around outside and lots of teenagers gathered outside. The security didnt bother doing much just leaning on the rails using their mobile phones.Very disappointing as this used to be a good shopping centre.Just hope that they will change it soon
Some really big shops (including the now defunct Top Shopmake up a very impressive frontage. The Zara outlet is massive. Inside there is a fair selection of smaller units, mainly "multiples." The only real issue is the cost of the integrated car park - and its accessibility once the shopping centre has closed its doors.
It has brands like H&M and Zara. There are some stores closed (April 2022). In one of the entrances there is a store of vitamins and natural products that have a lot of things. The mall restrooms are dirty and too crowded.
My go to place to park when going to Brighton. Parking is more reasonably priced compared to other areas and a bit more secured. Major stores on site and only a shirt walk to the beach and the Pier. Photos taken outside of Churchill Square.
One of the happening places in Central Brighton with shopping galore. You got various top class brands under one roof, very clean, multiple exit points, car park space and toilets. Those on a wheelchair can access too as there are wheel chair accessible points. The staff are polite and courteous. Also at the ground floor is a NHS vaccine centre area which is easily accessible by one and all.
Good shopping centre, with lots of well-known chain stores and also a good selection of eateries too. Clean and tidy, with a modern design. Good public transport links with many bus services stopping right outside. The toilets, bizarrely, are hidden well out of the way, located some fair distance down a long, bland corridor 😅
Vibrant busy centre with large variety of shops and eateries on top floor. Good pubs nearby with a variety of artisan food bars outside, easily reachable by bus.
This shopping centre has a good mix of different types of shops. You can pick the appropriate items from the shops if needed. The upper floor also has a food court. You can have a rest and enjoy the delicious food over there. Car-parking spaces are nearby and you can access to the shopping centre easily after drop off.
