You are in Miami! Of course everyone is rude! And worst drivers! Must have broken and thrown all mirrors out of the car! Why bother looking? Just do what you feel like doing! Drive any way you want to! Your car your road! Buy more insurance immediately if you have to be here! And expect a tongue- lashing from every local. Como esta? Loco loco loco!
When I first heard about this place I thought it was small but it is huge and so gorgeous. Definitely one of the prettiest churches I have ever been to. I usually try to find a church whenever I travel and this one had such a calming effect.
Just an amazing Mass and community. Thank you Lord for many blessings we had received this last Sunday
A landmark of Coral Gables since the 20s. Serene and peaceful church.
Lots of people visit this temple every day to listen the word of God
Beautiful church
Great Sunday mass with beautiful choir and music. A great community that look after their members and the needy. A great tribute to Catholic faith.
The Church of the Little Flower was established in 1926 by a small group of Catholics in the newly established town of Coral Gables. The new parish was named in honor of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, known as "The Little Flower" and a temporary church was built in 1928. A boarding school was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1925. They had plans to expand it but the crash of the Florida land boom spurned on by two hurricanes and the Great Depression cancelled their plans. The sisters signed the deed to the the school over to the church. The school was renamed the St. Theresa School and it became a parochial school for the parish.Father Thomas Comber, a missionary priest from Ireland, was charged with building the church. He envisioned something grand for the new church building but the lack of funds necessitated something more simple. The first church building was a parish center and auditorium that seated 800 and which was dedicated in 1928. It wasnt until 1951 that the present church got the ornate exterior that Father Comber desired. With the prosperity after WWII, Father Comber asked the Barry and Jay Company of Architects to build the church as he first envisioned it. The original 1920 plans were consulted and the church was built with stained glass windows designed by William Haley with the building in the ornate Spanish Renaissance style, to blend with the Mediterranean Revival architecture used by George Merrick when designing Coral Gables. The church was dedicated by Archbishop Joseph P. Hurley of Saint Augustine, Florida on December 8, 1952. It is still in use today. The church was renovated in 1987 and Comber Hall was renamed in honor of Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Comber, Little Flowers first pastor. Also in 1987, a new rectory was built across the street.Today the Church of the Little Flower is a landmark in Coral Gables. In June 2019, Fr. Manny Alvarez was named the 9th Pastor of Church of the Little Flower and Saint Theresa School. The church has been associated with two presidential candidates, Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush.
The Church of the Little Flower is just an architectural piece in the neighborhood, very sad that my closest church has very little compassion for their congregation and very poor customer service, cold front desk attendance. Time to move on!
A try to stop as often as posible to pray and be thankful for all the blessings...
Beautiful old church.
Nice church however rude staff
The Church of the Little Flower is Home
A delight for the Soul....my Google Picture is from this beloved Catholic Church.
I usually go there when there is no mass going on. I love its quietness which is conductive to meditation and one on one conversation with God.

Beautiful church. Great celebration always ! Amazing songs on sundays !!!
One of the most beautiful Catholic Churches in South Florida, Church of the Little Flower is a favorite for brides. The location is ideal for gorgeous photography.Highly recommend attending a Mass to become familiar with this jewel in South Florida.
The church of the Little Flowers is my second home God bless 🙏🙏🙏
Went and felt Christs smile on Father Davis. Heard St. Isabels laughter in the Carmelites sisters welcome and the angelic hosts peals in their choir. Loved the church for the people first. The beautiful Spanish architecture is gravy.
I think is a very beautiful area and very peaceful
Beautiful historic architecture. Hit missed twice i went with a Familyy and had awful experience : we did not felt welcome and not at home. We rather go to Saint Louis and Saint Thomas the Apostle. Despite the driving. The latest and last experience we all went with multicultural Family arrived from diverse areas and went to the spanish mass for the Grandparents courtesy. In the main prayers we prayed in English and a lady infront of US dressed in Green told the 9 year old in "English" our Family to be quiet as he was praying in English, and she eas Unable to Concentrate.I just replaied:1. We are not ahsemed to pray to the Lord in any Language2.she was bullying a Child(he almost cry)3. What would she do if it was Child crying or the Older Cuban americans catching up after a week without seeing each other in Mass.4 Reverse Discrimination.
I loved this Catholic Church...
I went to that iconic church, when I was little. Includes Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve
Iglesia catolica. Se ofrece misas en español. Debe llevar chaqueta pues ponen el aire acondicionado a baja temperatura.
Genial lugar para ir a Misa dominical y reflexionar

Beautiful Church!!!
My beloved daughter Teresita de Jesus was baptized in this awe inspiring Church in 1973.We all lived so happy for 40 years.I had her for 40 years along with her three dearest son, my so loved first grandchildren. Suddenly, she met new friends very different to her upbringing, faith and lifestyle and I lost her completely. Also my grandsons. Even her unity with her boys became broken. Please Little Flower allow me to see if it is Gods will my Teresita of always, the good mom, woman, CCD Teacher, family member among us again. May God send his Holy Spirit to her heart and to her boys hearts too. Please pray for Teresita de Jesus and her sons.I would love to see her come back before Im gone for good.I sit in this beautiful Church often a the pain in my soul becomes numb. I find so much peace in Little Flower Catholic Church.
Beautiful church but it is so difficult to visit inside, because there is always something going on inside, that makes me mad because it is a good spot to see inside Coral Gables.
