1849 Lincoln Way, San Francisco, CA 94122, United States, San Francisco
Neighborhood bar with weekly beer specials known for its Chug Tower, a 3-liter serving of suds.
Friendly service, and a quiet place to visit. Ideal neighborhood bar.
Great bar!
Food was amazing. Amazing staff
The owner was so attentive and nice to us, extremely humble and kind, and we were a group of 20 people! Food was so so good and healthy, reminded me of quality food from a Mexican household. Amazing service, great prices & food, and overall extremely familiar environment. Definitely stop by if you are in San Francisco!!!! Thanks for the service guys!
This place was bussin, 10/10 Recommend 🤤🤤
Will definitely be back for more good times, cool tunes- and DANK burritos!
My Neighborhood favorite. Great spot to catch up or catch a game. Love the casa barajas food options to go w the cocktails and drinks served up (highly recommend the crispy tinga taco).
Amazing food, reasonably priced drinks, pool table (free on certain nights), cool bartenders. 🍺 🌯 🌮 🎶 🎱
Great food. Good beer. Wonderful service.
Nice place but I wasnt there long enough to get to know it too well. For my time there 4 stars is correct
Great staff, Amazing food, Cool Customers5 stars Everytime .
We came here to drink on their sidewalk and try the Mexican food offered by Casa Barajas. The food and service is very good. The veggie burrito has actual vegetables in it and they grill the finished burrito nicely on both sides. The two salsas offered are far above average. I highly recommend eating here.
The staff seemed to be very excited to be back to work. They were friendly and the service was great. My favorite food is the mole enchiladas and they have a good selection of beers on tap.
Stopped over there for lunch takeout after a walk at Golden Gate Park. Their burritos are really good!
My friend and I just moved to Sunset area and have been going to this pub. Amazing staff here! Definitely will be our go to spot.
Delicious food and good service.definitely coming back
Great service, mellow mood and the best burrito west of Granada st
Great food, lots of seating nice vibe.
y’all want a good margarita? Talking FRESH MARGARITA, no BS, this is the spot. Patio is super cute. Fun music. Staff is so friendly. We came on a Sunny Sunset Saturday and it was the perfect spot. We’ve lived here 10 years and just found this gem!
Great neighborhood bar right next to the park! Chill vibe and friendly staff. We had fresh margaritas outside on the sidewalk patio. Definitely worth checking out.
LOVE this neighborhood bar. So happy they recently opened outdoor dining. A bit cold in the evening but it’s expected in the foggy sunset...nothing a little alcohol and food can’t fix 🤗
Great neighborhood bar with patio and pool table. Casa Barajas serves up some of the best burritos and nachos in the city.
Casa barajas is still doing takeout and delivery. Great way to get bomb Mexican food and support a restaurant during the shelter in place.
$3 draft before 6pm, good range of drinks, great staff, and great nachos from the Mexican pop up.
Great pub and amazing Mexican food. Drop by to watch the game and bring an empty stomach. So, so good.
Ohhh Chug Pub, I’ve given them sooooo many chances, from happy hour, to trivia night.... Jesus Christ.../also just popping in for a quick drink. Pffffft...... listen, Terrance is a great Bartender and should not be included in this rant! So he won’t be... everyone else will be, from not knowing what the specials are, to not knowing what the happy hours specials are...:pfffft... basic knowledge. GOD DAMN!! They don’t remember their regulars because of high turnover... please try and argue with me... I dare you... also rude new staff... please just try. We love you, but not when you turn away your regulars. Actually look at our faces l... look me in the eyes.....be a part of the bar you work at... Jesus Christ..///...
My girl spilled a glass goat her whole cup of alcohol and they were generous enough to give her a free cup.
Little dive-y, but clean. Cool smoking area. Great tacos and burritos. Trivia nights on Thursday. They have old-school arcade games on an emulator (over 1000 gamesif youre into that sort of thing.
Decent place, but a have to drop a star for having a separate kitchen and bar. Two businesses operating under one roof. I understand it may be two businesses, but work together for the benefit of your customers. This is not normal no matter how you try to explain it. Figure it out and stop behaving as if you just got off the boat.
Nice place to hang out at good drinks plenty of tvs to watch and a pool table had a good time here and the food is great and cool bartenders and chef
The bartender is awesome !!!! Very low key and you can choose your music. However, even if you dont the music is bad awesome.
We were in San Fran for the week and didnt rent a car, so we used Uber Eats. Chug Pub was one of the places available. Took a chance without having read any reviews, and I was not disappointed. So good. I had the ham and cheese taquitos and then another night I had the Tinga tacos (I think thats what theyre called). Very very good. Had a grilled chicken salad one night, also. It was solid.
I have a lot of good memories at Chug Pub over the years, mostly involving drunken birthday escapades. The bartenders are friendly, there are plenty of TVs, and even a variety of games to play with friends and dates alike. I havent yet tried the food, but hear its not bad.
Chug pub is a great place in my opinion. The food is good and the price for drinks are good. I been coming here for 5 years and I always have a great time.
I love this place as a nice hole in the wall spot. Beers are usually fresh and decent prices. They have enough TVs to keep up on multiple games going on at once. Pool table, table Jenga, shot n pop are available here. Food options are below average so avoid it if you can.
Great bar. I like their bar food at night time! Typical are food, dont expect a restaurant style food!
Fun small place with a jukebox and tvs
Great location. Make sure to check out BlueMoon Thursday. $3 a pint. AND Jose is awesome.
Only visited once about 2 years ago but its a nicely layed out bar, good atmosphere and staff. I had a burger which included beef patties, pulled pork, fried chicken and more!! One of the nicest burgers I have ever eaten.
Not sure why I havent been here sooner. Tacos are excellent! Decent selection of beer.
Stopped in after walking through Golden Gate Park. Staff was very friendly and very into the Giants game that was on. Being from Kentucky, I can relate to passionate sports fans.
If youre new to Outer Sunset and you want to mingle with your neighbors. This is the place . Ive been going here for years. The staff and regulars are nice and courteous. Make it to happy hour from 4P to 6P on weekdays for great deals on draft beer and well drinks.
Great local spot for watching sports or even before the game. Friendly bartenders keep your drinks filled & the food is quite good too. Outdoor smoking room with window into the bar is a nice touch for smokers.
This is a good place to grab a drink hang out and watch the game. They also have a pool table too.
This place is awesome to come grab a drink and just hang out. There is a wide variety of drinks available and lots of places to sit and hang out. I found the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. There is a pool table and some video game tables such as bocce ball and poker. Overall chill area that I would recommend to anyone.
Nice open space for a dive bar. The bartenders are friendly and the prices are reasonable. It is a great option for a night out in the Sunset. They have a nice, laid back environment with a great drink selection!
My only problem with the place is the layout. Its long and narrow, and when it gets packed it is hard to get around. The room in the back is spacious, but the pool table takes up a lot of space. Drinks are average price, about $5 a beer. They have these beer tower things that look really cool. Not sure how much they are, but seems more fun than getting a pitcher. The only problem is you gotta find a table top to enjoy it at.All in all a pretty fun dive bar with good atmosphere, but not really a stand out.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon after playing drunk kickball in golden gate park and had a decent experience. The beer and food was affordable, and the wings and waffle fries were amazing. The only downside was that I noticed a slight lingering puke smell throughout the place and the bartender was hard to get ahold of. If not for that I would have given 4 stars!
I went here once, and it was decent. An out of the way dive with out of the way people. This is a vacuum in the sunset. Go here for a few drinks at night. I would like to see an open mic night here. Anywho, its worth checking out.
Chug Pub...sounds like it was made for a frat house crowd. Fortunately, there is a much different vibe here. A lot of older locals come to watch sports and chat it up with one another at this unique bar. There is a covered patio where you can take youre beer out to in the front with a television so you can keep up with the game. The television is small and very outdated but still a good way not to miss any of the action. The bartenders were friendly and served us with a smile. The food...not so good. We tried several different items and all were just sad. They felt like someone opened up their moms freezer, threw them in the microwave and served it in a cheap plastic basket. We had the chicken strips, the zucchini, the mushrooms, and the nachos. Now, if you follow me on my reviews, youll know I love nachos. These were by far the saddest nachos. Typical plastic nacho cheese, a drizzle of chili and stale old chips. Thats why this place get 3 stars.Good for a drink, not for the eats!
