Kid-friendly chain known for its arcade games, pizza parties, play zones & mouse mascot.
Most of the games are coin pushers and the rest are over really quick and pay out very little tickets
Wednesdays are the best! $20 for an hour of play intake my lil guy every chance we get! Great for a rainy day!! Or any day at that. And they have cold beers!!
Overall, it is what it is. But Too many coin pusher type games, or games that are 3 seconds long.
Hope and the ladies up front are amazing! Young and incredible staff 🤘🏾
Had a great time with the grandkid today he loves it here also found a new favorite to make at home Chill Hawaiian 🍕 it was good
it was very dirty, smelt terrible like sweat very outdated and the staff is rude especially the one monica she is rude and snappy, and when you try to talk to her she has a rbf, salad bar was outdated and it was brown and nasty, no good options for dressing and overpriced food, don’t waste your time here.
Was part of a childs Birthday party. The kids loved it!
Great for little ones games are old seat belts didnt reach / buckle no more live show with Chucky unless its a birthday party u paying them for...i tokens and the games dont read the cards on 1st try
Recently went to the establishment. Horrible. Waste of money in my opinion. Rather go to dave and busters. Dirty, some staff were not attired correctly, cursing infront of the children while taking our order. Going down the hole. Used to be a great place to visit, the silence speaks loud here. In a busy place like St. Petersburg, they should do some heavy evaluations per staff and games. Or else it will be gone soon.
Has changed a lot some for the better some not..still a fun time
Very spacious. We went for a birthday celebration.Pizza was really delicious and fresh. Ambience was good. Kids had a lot of fun. Must visit and highly recommended for birthday parties.
If I could give zero stars I would. I gave it one more shot and its was worse than the original 2 stars I left.Ghetto at its finest. They do NOTHING about the kids with Parents who dont Parent jumping all over the games, pushing kids out of the way to take their turns, taking the balls from the other games and making them not playable all while workers AND Parents sit and watch like its nothing. It looks like a circus in there. The employees behind the counter do not know ANYTHING about how the place runs. What a complete s#!tshow. I will never step foot in there again. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to Treasure Island funcenter.
I gave Chuck E. Cheese 2 stars ONLY because of the measures they have in place for leaving and entering. Stamping you and your child(renso that they can then only leave with the matching stamp on your wrist. And I just get this feeling like Im still being generous.Besides the security measure, this place is horrible. Its severely understaffed, the food is sub par, and the games are extremely outdated and worn out. Almost every ride game with a cushion is cracked and some are even browned from wear. Handles on games are missing padding and cracking. The worst part is that it has been this way for a long time. They invest nothing back into the place to repair or upkeep, let alone update games. Pricing per game is modest, but who cares how much it is when its so old? Not to mention that if one malfunctions, it takes true effort to even locate a worker to request they fix it.They are supposedly going to do a full remodel later this year, but as it stands right now..... 2 stars.
There are no tokens anymore everything gets put on a card and your tickets too so there are no tickets anymore either everything gets put on a card which is different
Its just not like the place I went as a kid. But Im sure kids love it still.
This location was clean, the staff was EXTREMELY helpful and everything was in good working order.
Things are just different from when I was a kid. No coins, no tickets, the games arent great, and dont give much tickets. The prizes are terrible you get a tootsie roll with 500 tickets. Chuckie never came out because of covid. Wont be going back for awhile.
Salad bar needs major improvement m! It’s noon time and they have old withered, color changing lettuce and I waited for the girl to bring out fresh salad mix and she brought back the same low batch and she said it’s not chopped up yet. Huh!
Kids always have a good time
Stood at the counter to be told by the young girl that she does not work front counter. As she stood there on her phone. The maintenance man you have working is super he helped us out. He is wonderful and got us someone from the back. That came and helped us the young girl walked away still on her phone. I understand that they are young but a little less of the phone and Attitude you would have more people that came into the facility. Thank you to you’re maintenance man for helping as I understand front counter is not a maintenance task. Thank you sir
Literally no employee around at all. Just 1 lady on her phone the entire time i was visiting with my 2 kids. We walked in and literally didn’t interact with us at all. No hello or anything. I just walked past the gate and she just stared at us. Didn’t explain anything. There’s cards now, no tickets no coins. Horrible time
Only reason its not 5 🌟 is cost. The lady in the front was very helpful. My boys both are autistic but night and day, she noticed one running more than playing and she approached us suggesting switching our time cards to points because he wasnt really playing. We have not been here in almost 2 years so a lot changed, I didnt know the tickets upload on the card, so that was something cool. It was roughly $45 for half hour of play for two kids and 3 drinks. So for us that was pricy. As far as the facility itsself and staff, that was all good experience.
Its crazy how the new owners dont get cusromer service. 10.00 salad bar on little small 6" Styrofoam plated because they didnt order the regular ones. Listen I barely ever say anything but there was something about the lady who was trying to sell me on way things are the way it is. My kid loves that place and I dont often go as my wife and her friends take the kids while Im at work but I was really turned off by this place. Its like you need to bring your own everything. And just get minutes firbthe kids. Ugh. I felt like its going to a rib restaurant ans tye manager forgot to order ribs. Sure my issue is small but just the vibe turned me off. My wife can take the kids but I was annoyed.
Awesome time ⏲️ and fire 🔥 pizza. Salad plates way way way to small tho.
The games are fun. The pizza is still YUM! The animatronics were the best part, but theyre gone now. My kid was devastated. The place felt safe. It was clean, except the bathrooms could use more cleaning.
Went there today and what a disappointment. Theres nothing but video games and 4 ride on rides. Theres nothing that the kids can run, climb or play on. Too bad for todays kiddos! The whole atmosphere was a downer, no energy. They have 1 animated character, Chuck E, on the stage and even he was uneventful. The employees were on their phones and I had to "interrupt" 3 of them at the register to buy a game card.No personality or any interest in welcoming us. Stayed about 30 minutes and then left. We will not be going back, save your money!
Most CEC visits have been superb, and I had a fun time at this location, but there are some things Id like to see. Main thing for me, the animatronic show wasnt even turned on! Such a let down to me and my friends who love the show. The play pass machine has been broken the past times Ive went as well... Its hit or miss with the employees too. Ive met some employees who were cussing behind the counter before they picked up the phone, and dozens other uncomfortable or disappointing employee interactions too. Some of the employees are very nice and helpful those, so thank you to them! Ill be going back soon, and if its better I will change my review.
Great place for young and not so young! Very safe, temp checks before entering and hand-stamps for little ones and their parents. We went with our grandson and he had a blast!! Machines for his pre-school level and adult level for grandpa! Pizza, drinks, food all available as well. Well definitely bring him back for years of fun to come.
While Chuck E. Cheese was great as a kid, its really gone down hill. The games are broken or not working properly the majority of the time. The games are pretty outdated as well. Its just disappointing. Still a good way to pass some time with young kids, but I just wish theyd update a bit.
Its always fun coming to Chuck e Cheese ,it would have been 5 stars 🌟 but I noticed some of the arcade games /equipment are starting to rust and shows signs of wear. And some where out of commission. Maybe an update is needed. Its for the KIDS 😊 but still highly recommended 👌
It was ok for $30 a kid, I expected to see Chuck E. Cheese other than on a TV screen. There was no Chuck E Cheese singing or dancing neither in a costume or the mechanical one. The little kids who were there were disappointed because the one we went to in Lakeland, FL was much more fun.
I know the pandemic has been hard on these types of businesses so I have taken that into consideration. The staff was great and the facility was extremely clean. However I would estimate that 70% of the games we tried to play were malfunctioning, broken, or just taking our credits and not letting us play. Hopefully when their revenue improves they can have their machines properly maintenanced.
Although we are in the middle of the covid-19 crisis the staff at Chuck-E-Cheese was doing everything they could to comply. everything was clean. There was also someone going around regularly cleaning all of the activities. there was not that many people there but my granddaughter still had a great time and the Pizza is always good.
We had a birthday party at the Tyrone Garden location. The staff was very accommodating and personable. The manager Krystal and our host Kenae were very friendly. They sure made us feel welcome. Kids had a great time.
Very clean, good food options, and extra friendly staff! Always impressed with how kind the management is! They are always walking around making sure everyone is happy. On multiple occasions we have had the joy of being helped by Kenne and Taria! They are both rays of sunshine. Definitely the best CEC we’ve been to.
Had birthday party for my son turning 11 yrs old. Good place for to celebrate a youth party. Hostess was very friendly they provide what you need and the kids can enjoy a variety of video games and skills games that give tickets. The tickets can be redeemed for prizes. Was a good time and I didnt have to clean up.
Nice place but they should control the sections for smaller children. There are always older children in the preschool age area terrorizing the little ones. We watch our grandchildren but not all parents do. If chucky cheese had an attendant to keep the big ones out it would be a safer environment
It was ok. The little kids had fun. Minor problem with one of the machines not working and the kids got tired being seat belted in the ride and no staff to help. But they decided to do the bumper cars. all in all it was not too bad. Will try again next year.
Not enough staff to keep games running, but kids had fun.
I was hesitant about coming here because I had heard that there wasnt much for a 20 mo. to do. Glad I didnt listen because my granddaughter had a blast for 2 1/2 hours in the toddler area. The little rides in that area cost 1 point and are perfect for little ones. Her favorite thing was the play area with a slide. We will definitely be back.
I had a great time there at my grandsons birthday party. The food came out just as scheduled and the service was even better. The workers (teensat Chuck E Cheese are awesome. We had a party of about 25 people and they cleaned up everything. There were plenty of games for the kids. I use to take my kids to this same Chuck E Cheese and now my kids have kids.Chuck E Cheese brings back alot of memories!
We went here for my grandson’s birthday party and we had a great time. I want to give 10 stars to Monica, one of the managers, who patiently explained all our orders and the complicated process of using our coupons. Even when faced with a difficult customer, she patiently explained the options. The customer service was excellent. I had the salad bar which was fresh and had an excellent variety of vegetables and toppings. Ordering the food seemed a bit complicated, but again, Monica made it work for us...of course, none of the packages worked for our group so there was shuffling to do. My grandson had the best time . Thank you, Monica.
Came to this location for a birthday party. Weve actually been to this location before for other birthday parties as well and I do have to say theyve improved the cleanliness and overall look inside. The staff assistant for the birthday party was so friendly and helpful! Some of the games ran out of tickets but we were able to locate staff to assist and refill the tickets.Only complaint is that a lot of the attendees for the party missed out on the singing of happy birthday and the serving of the pizza and cake because the intercom within the facility sucks! If youre off playing the games you dont hear the announcer calling for all party guests to come back-- facility is too loud with the games and kids running around. Recommend they fix this.Overall we all had fun...even the adults had a blast playing the games. The virtual reality roller coaster ride I have pictured was super fun! Like that Chuck E. Cheese has the unlimited play for amounts of time you can purchase rather than the old coin system. This makes it easier for the kids to keep occupied.
I use to bring my kids here every weekend faithfully. Spend at max $40-50 for two pizza 2 drinks and games. But sweet Jesus it seems they want families not to come and enjoy themselves anymore. It was one adult who played no games and 2 small children one 3 and one is a year old and doesnt ride or play the games . But recently I went and paid an additional $20 for the usual. Bye-bye Chuck e cheese. We will not miss you.✌
I noticed the MANAGER at Chuck-E-Cheese Thursday evening NEVER ONCE WEARING GLOVES EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE HANDLED/SERVED FOOD!! I first saw her serving Dippin Dots ice cream and wearing NO gloves. I would think any time any sort of food is being made youre supposed to wear gloves. She also wore no gloves when she was at the salad bar as well. Obviously, at the salad bar she should have been wearing gloves just for simple cross contamination but she made it really obvious to everyone there that she hated the place and her job. She made a deliberate point to be rude to the customers and her employees. She often yelled at her employees either through a microphone or just yelling at the top of her lungs.I would also think name tags are required, manager or not.GLOVES ARE REQUIRED!!!!By the way, this place was recently shut down by the health department for having over 150 rat droppings. So please dont eat or drink anything from there.
My kids had a nice time and it wasn’t overly crowded. My husband ate at the salad bar and said it wasn’t too bad.
The kids loved it. But personally i thought pizza and wings were less than average and way overpriced. 5 wing nuggets 5 small celery sticks, about 10 small fries and cheesy bread= $10.99. I had to leave there afterward to go get me something appetizing to eat. I got the kids pizza and drinks and was very unimpressed with the look and taste of the pizza. The out of shape sluggish Chuck E Cheese character acted as though he did not want to be working that day by his unenthusiastic performance. He did not even try. This was my first experience at this place so maybe I had higher expectations. However the 3 children I took there loved the experience. The games were great but they expel tickets that kids can redeem for little cheap, penny prizes. I suggest you have a valid coupon so it will make your ego feel a little better about the experience. Overall I would preferred spending more and just going to Busch Gardens for quality entertainment.
kind of upset about my experience here, the manager Debbie was extremely rude not only to customers but to her employees. the person at kid check was having issues with a child and asked her for help seeing as shes not allowed to leave her station, debbie didnt do anything and left. only to come back a bit later to yell at the poor kid check person in front of my friend and i, then told us to stop talking to her employee. if it were busy id understand not wanting them to be distracted but it wasnt busy and she was talking to us about some of their games. i then went to buy some merch and debbie was cashiering and being rude to her employees. the other employees were great, but the manager was just too much. loved all the creative signs and cool games. its unfortunate that such a good location has such a mean manager.
This was a great time as usual and the kids had a great birthday that remember
Larger than most other Chuck e Cheeses Ive been to, and the games were newer as well. Even the pizza was well prepared. All around of the three or four Ive been to, I like this one the best.
