Good place. Rooms are big and comfortable. The food is delicious but a bit expensive.

Very Nice place

Very nice place with a nice garden and clean rooms. The breakfast is more then enough, with toast, pancakes, fruit and (realcoffee. But most of all it is the friendly staff that made my stay as comfortable as can be. Yes, the water pressure is a bit low, but the water is hot so I was satisfied.

Is very nice place to stay

The rooms are nice but the door latch wouldnt work, the water pressure was dissapointing, but the food and customer reception was spectacular. The food in particular saved this review and why Ive given it 4 stars to raise their overall rating.A good place to stay for as long as a fortnight.

Did not enjoy the stay here. The room does not have any fan or ac and we were very uncomfortable. The food while tasty was extremely pricey compared to what you find in Arusha. Found a dead cockroach in the bathroom.

Mon expérience avec cet établissement fut nul. Jy suis arrivé pour la restauration, mais on me dit que le restaurant nest accessible quà ceux qui dorment dans létablissement (Il ny a pas eu cette précision sur TripAdvisor). Or je suis résident à Arusha et javais besoin dun endroit sympathique pour me restaurer. Autre chose, ce fut très difficile de repérer cet établissement car il ny a pas de de panneaux pour indiquer.

Christina House is truly a home away from home. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food is absolutely delicious and the environment is beautiful and relaxing. Its currently raining in Arusha and I woke up to an umbrella outside my door, thoughtfully placed there by Helen (amazing chef), so I could get to breakfast without getting wet 💗

Excellent retreat for individual, couples and family. With excellent view of mt.meru.

A comfy place to be

This is a friendly place with comfortable rooms. The showers lack power but are warm(ish). We did a cookery course while there to learn some local Tanzanian dishes, which was great fun. It is close to the busy Arusha-Himo road and so there is a bit of noise from that but not as bad as we expected. It is peaceful at night so we slept very well.

The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and nice. The food is so sweet and delicious, and it was a great place to stay while exploring the area.

Nice place to stay

Really nice place and cool.

I stayed at Christina House for a week with a group of friends, and had the BEST experience! The rooms were beyond comfortable- super comfy beds (kingsize, but could be separated, and a mosquito net), fully functioning bathroom (with doors, flush toilets, running water, shower, etc.), and it all had a very safe and clean feeling to it! The upper deck/ balcony area was perfect for playing cards and journaling each night! It was a very nice (and beautifuladded bonus! The food was also delicious- I would plan to eat at least breakfast and your evening meal here. Her cook is phenomenal! Multiple course meals and the freshest foods; Christina House was, hands down, the best place I ate during my 3 weeks in Tanzania!It may be difficult to locate at first, but I actually quite appreciated that about Christina House. I felt secluded and safe in the beautiful courtyard - it was hard to tell that there was a busy road right on the other side of the fence! The drive to Arusha may seem far at first, but I think it was worth it to stay in that beautiful and secluded place.Asante Sana, Christina! You have created a beautiful place, and I would LOVE to come back!
