Christchurch Adventure Park Cafe & Bar - Cafe in Christchurch, New Zealand
Just droped my daughter off for the mud sweat and tears so cant really say to much about it
Kids meals are ridiculously small.kids burger smallest Ive ever seen, makes mackers cheeseburger look huge! Great chairlift ride and tracks but I wouldnt go on ANY tracks unless I was a very experienced mountain biker!
Always a nice place to get food & drink after walking the tracks. Friendly service
The park itself is fabulous and the chairlift to the top was amazing. The cafe however had a very minimal selection of cabinet food and a small, quite pricey menu when all we wanted was lunch. Plan on spending at least $80 for 3 people. I ran back to the camper and made a salad for lunch instead.
Is a great space area however the people that was working dear it looked like they dont know the menu. We order some fries and then we all burger but no moment in the menu or the waitress I device that the burger came almost with the same lot of fries if I order by itself and you know what he said oh usually customer asked. The burger was good
Great selection if food and drinks. Perfect after a great day in the park.
I have been to this cafe many of times usually in the summer, and have received great service. Today I was very disappointed in the service I received. I was served by a young girl who I won’t name at around 11:35AM, I asked for a regular hot chocolate and she rudely responded to me “we don’t do regular hot chocolates, we only do them in large, but if you want it in a regular cup you will have to pay the price of a large” it was the tone of voice she used that made her come across so rude, she had an abrupt tone that implied she thought I should know this already. Her and her co workers spent more time talking than serving and preparing our order. Not only that but they forgot about the people were were withs order, they had left it in the microwave, as they were to busy talking amongst themselves. Plus the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other when talking. After this experience I will be reluctant to return in the future.
Great service nice friendly people and were happy to accomodate for disability.
Great Park, good cafe. Lots of fun, and well worth visiting even if you arent into mou tain biking. Views from the chairlift are amazing.
Great physical environment. Services superb professional friendly relaxed but quietly emphasizing health and safety. Loved the zipline will do it again.
Gorgeous cafe. Really suits the surroundings and highly recommend. After my adventure for the morning I had a latte with almond milk and was definitely up to par. Well presented and I will be back again
ZIPLINING.......What more do I need to say. Oh BEER lol geat activities, friendly staff and award winning veiws. Nicely finished with a beer and loaded fries
Our very first stop after landing in Christchurch. We had so much fun but our time was limited so we didnt have the chance to go on the zipline.
Great place friendly staff very nice sitting in amongst the trees watching all the bikers coming down so full of energy after their ride down
Great biking, great food, great company. Thanks for the awesome service during Level 2. We had a fantastic night with the fam bam.
Staff are fantastic food is decent and its right next to the bike park what more could you ask for. Finish up a ride with your mates and have a pint.
Fantastic. We went on the 4 Ziplines. Our guides/instructors were brilliant. Excellent experience. Food and drinks afterwards at the cafe were also very good.
Good to loose some fat then gain it back by there mint beer and food
It was time to have a pleasant conversation with friends while eating delicious coffee and blueberry muffins.
My friends and I had so much fun! The chair lift ride, both ways, was an experience you will never forgot - nerve-wrecking, exciting, and very addictive! The view at the top is breathtakingly stunning. What an adventure we had last Monday, 12/10/2020. Definitely a place to be highly recommend to all!
Every time I come to chch I do some runs at the park, I love it, its like France, Switzerland, italy and Whistler, the other places Ive ridden list assisted downhill mtb riding. So much fun.
Scenic mountain climbing site, very suitable for taking children to challenge, children will love chairlift after they reach the top of the mountain.

Because it has great views. Nice cafe . I had fun riding the chair left down the hill.
its great place for biking, hiking, chairlift, zipline or just chillin at their cafe in their village.
I went for an introduction to downhill mountain biking and my experience was awesome! Asher is an amazing teacher! He gave me tips easy to understand and apply. He was able to adapt the lesson to my level and encourage me every part of the way. It was a pleasure to learn with someone so passionate about its sport !!
We did the zipline, absolutely loved it and the 2 zipline guys were so brilliant!! Cafe very cool place, like being in a different country with the view and atmosphere. Food tasty and good service!
Nice and spacious, lots of outdoor seating. Decent coffee and great fries. Not for fine dining.Very good place to relax after some trails in the Park or the Port Hills.
It was really fun. The cafe rinse it of fox quickly because it is really good. The uphill track attracts people to challenge their selfs as well as the bike tracks. I have been on the spline and it was phonomonanily fun zoom though excellent news. It you have a snap good go have then play on the pump track which can be used for all ages. I love this place 😁
Review is just for cafe. Park is great.Went to cafe on a Sunday late morning. Not a great food selection. Bacon and egg muffin was good, but wife had caramelised onion tart which was not nice. Coffees took ages to come. Lots of staff rushing around but seemed very disorganised, even though the place was not busy. Shame, because it’s a great location.
Really cool themed place to chill out in after hitting the tracks. My partner and I often do the walk up to the chair lift and enjoy stopping here for a rewarding cold afterwards.
Absolutely rate the Adventure Park highly, but dont get the burger. Better burger patty if I made it from an old car tyre. Stale bun, too much sauce. Unfortunately the worst burger Ive ever had. On the plus side, the beer selection and trails are good.
What a fabulous addition to Christchurch! I walked there from home with my hubby for a look & a latte 😊 was awesome to see so many young people being so active and such a beautiful setting. I will defs go back and give things a go! Like the zip line and chair lift and looking forward to what else they have planned for sure 😊😊
What a setting. An amazing place for a coffee a meal or a beer in amongst the trees during or after you have shred the trails of the Park. Great staff, great setting, great food at good prices. Cant rave about it enough.
Love the adventure Park, but there is always room for improvement. Great fun, 10 lifts for $100 is about the right price, could always be cheaper though....and they need to keep this offer of 10 lifts for $100 if they want to keep my custom. I use about two lifts a week and have a couple of beers, works out to be fun evening, or afternoon
Nice food and pretty well priced. Pizzas are quick and taste pretty good for the price. The hot chips are a regular favourite after doing some laps in the park. Very friendly and perfect for the family.
Absolutely fantastic amazing views awesome fun zip lining fantastic tour guides highly recommend a must do in Christchurch
great place so much to do, but the prices are steep I guess its like that everywhere tho .. it would be great if the concreted all their walking paths from the car park all around the cafe area an up to the chair lift just for safer walking an strollers no one wants to slip down a mud slide
We had a lovely day with the sun out...The staff was welcoming and we got a one for two Tuesday ticket.Going down the track was easy to follow until the last part. Might help to have a bit more arrow signs nevertheless a fantastic day to spend the day sightseeing.
What an amazing asset for Christchurch. The best day out mountain biking Ive had in years. Chair lift is great for planning the next cool downhill and eating not to mention the scenery. Just go up for a look even if your not biking. cant wait to get back. Youll be nuts to not do it.
This is a big cafe with lots of room to lounge. There are heaters placed all around for when it is cold and plenty of outdoor seating when it is not. My wife and I had a delicious pie and two coffees that met our expectations!
Great cafe in a unique setting with lots of interesting activity happening around as you relax on the generous deck.
Very nice building a lovely location hidden away in the valley with large pine trees around it. Prices were fairly average not inflated too much for being the only place to get food at CAP. Staff were fine, but seemed generally uninterested in customers and more interested in chatting amoungst themselves than being over attentive to customers. Food selection is ok but the food its self was nothing too special
Heard so much about this great place that we had to take a look for ourselves. Blown away by the gorgeous setting, buzzing with families and riders. The food and coffee in the café is delicious. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic facility. Christchurch is so lucky to have it back after the fires. So many options to enjoy the park besides riding a bike as you can just ride the chairlift for the view, ride the ziplines or just hang out in the excellent cafe and watch the comings and goings. Lots of free parking and a cool wee bike trail for kids.
Awesome trails, great instructors, good food, excellent beer - fantastic day out!
Great vibe good food and i stumbled into a free beer tasting! Riding is on the up and up given the tough history too!
Over priced for one track. Would suggest discounting by 20 to 30% until things are up and running again. Would generate massive good will with a very enthusiastic public. Net result more long term revenue and happy punters.
A lot of enthusiasm from the staff. The chair lift is amazing. The facilitys are excellent. There is a lift pass shop. Rentals and retail shop. And a really nice cafe. The signage right from the front gate really could be better. I drove right past the gate because there was a huge construction sign and a much smaller cap sign. In the park trying to find the toilets and the tool bench had to ask staff. And even the staff didnt know. And similar on The trails.I am really looking forward to more trails coming online here will be awesomeThis is a great addition to ChristchurchHad a lovely day
Nestled in the Christchurch adventure park base camp, this cafe/bar provides some much needed refreshments to those sweating profusely from a hard day downhilling.Always pretty busy when Ive been there but the wait times are always reasonably low. First coffee I had there was amazing and the second one was pretty meh. Their fries are really good and Ive been told their burgers are awesome as well.
