Nice church old architecture

Christ Church is a beautiful old church just a few meters off, above the Mussoorie Mall Road. We saw it on our walk the first day and then got the chance to visit it on 23rd June 2022. the entry is via a short uphill road. As you stand outside and see the small iron gate and the few steps inside, you can feel the magic. The Building is pretty old British and teleports you back in time. The sky was absolutely beautiful as I clicked some pics. No-one stopped up as we entered the courtyard. We were admiring the views when the caretaker came to us and asked us if we wanted to see the inside. What an opportunity. The inside is amazing with stained glass artwork, the Gothic architecture and deep silence. We stayed there for a couple of minutes, made a small donation and came back outside. Oh, what a wonderful experience. Must visit, if you are at Mussoorie.

such a beautiful and well built church dating back to 100 years old, but it is unfortunately closed due to the COVID. Felt very sad that being not able to visit it from inside

This Christ Church is a old church of Mussoorie . The Architectural part is marvellous. very less crowd ✝️

Over 150 years old this is under the Diocese of Agra, Church of North India. Beautiful stained glass windows. A must see if you enjoy old buildings.

The most beautiful Church in town.

Went for a visit today, but couldnt Got in because The Church was closed. But the area surrounding that church was so beautiful. It gave you such hilly freshness, and greenery.Would definitely come back to explore more.

Only sunday morning open

This church is on the Mall road. Also, it is open only on Sunday for rest other days it is closed. So, if you want to visit the church plan your Mussoorie trip for weekend

Gothic architecture similar to the church on the mall at Shimla. Beautiful. But closed at the time we visited mostly due to covid restrictions.

A beautiful place at the top of the hill.... peaceful and a wonderful place to bond both with nature and God....

The Mussoorie Christ Church is located on the Mall Road of mussorie. It is a small and pretty church with lovely and seren atmosphere. architecture of this chruch is based on ghotic style . It is a awesome place to visit in Mussoorie,moreover its located there in downtown ,so I want to suggest everyone out there to visit this place.And as it us always said," jesus is for all".

Came to know alot about christianity after visting this place the people here maintain proper decorum and have kept separate timing for prayers so that sentiments for none are hurt very well organised

A Gothic style beautiful structure, with lovely glass paintings. It is a CNI church (Church of North Indiaand has beautiful wood roofings and antique look.They have service only on Sundays at 11 am and on special days. This Christmas 2019, the service is on 25th December at 10 am.The faith based community gathered in the church for the 11 am service was so warmth and affectionate members. Great to have met them and visited this placed of blessings.

I visited this place on 10th November, 2019. The day was Sunday and the time was much appropriate. The place is just walking distance from Mall Road. There was some worship taking place. Not enough people was there. Only a few. After their worship they cut the cake and shared food, tea among them including us. My first impression was that I really loved this place. The place is very peaceful, gives you so much positive energy. This place is must to visit while you are in Mussourie. The built of the church was also awesome. Thumps up. 👍✌️

Cool and awesome place.near mall market

A small quiet little NSI Church tucked away on Mall road. There is a service only on Sundays and is locked on other days, but we found the caretaker stays on the premises and he courteously opens the church for us upon request. The historic old pipe organ and the gorgeous stained windows are worth the visit.

Historic church at mall road near jal nigam guest house. Peaceful nd serene place. Panaromic view is awesome from here.

If u love European architects,must visit

This apart from a religious building is a historical monument. The memories go back to the start of the British period in India.

Built by the British and one of the oldest church in Himalayan ranges. The church is in gothic style. Its a small church but well maintained. The priest is staying near by and would open the church if requested. This church is located at the mall road mussorie.

Good place with no crowd. Opens only on Sundays but the priest stays just near the church and is very loyal . Would open church if you wish to pay a visit and also some donation.

Super,but few visits,180 years piano is waiting for repair. A small Shop s which deals with convent embroidery may add attractions to mussourie church and can generate local employment.

Amazing gothic architecture and the stained glass windows were simply heavenly! Theres also the main altar,which is high and shows the crucifiction of Jesus christ.

This place is surrounded with peace away from the rush of city, one can experience calm and sit and admire the beauty of nature .

Great place in mussoorie. The church is very well maintained and great architecture it also has a pipe organ. It also has the tree that was planted by the Princess of Wales in 1806

We went at around 2 pm. All the entrances were locked. Very secluded place. No one even to inquire.

The church is about two hundred years old and hold trees older than a century. The coloured glasses shine with sunlight and create a beautiful effect. The view from where the church stands is scenic specially at sunset.
