Chowking in Calbayog City

Love it

We dropped by here to eat our late lunch after travelling for almost 12hrs unfortunately all soup were nor availble when we dine just ordered what was availble.

Took more than an hour waiting for order, even food panda riders complains with their service.

Surprisingly good to eat there. And not that expensive. But one thing bothered me, the noise. Kids playing loud toys, watching phone videos on max volume, etc. Not for a restful dinner.

05/05/2022 13:47Slow service without notice. I waited to have my meal served for more than 40 mins. If it is the case, isnt it expected that the staff at the counter notify the customer if the order takes longer than usual?

All fast food in the Samar provinces are out of soft drinks this place has only pineapple juice, no water. Me and my six kids hate pineapple juice. No outside the box western thought to discount an 18 dollar meal to forego the pineapple juice. About the Chow....

Eversince I am a student I am very well fond of the menu in this joint..I do really have some tastes for Chinese food..

Chowking is my favorite.But menus offered here as displayed on menu board are most of the time are unavailable.It takes longer to serve food ordered.furnitures (chairs and tableand glass partitions are not child friendly..😐- very dissappointed

The staff excitedly showed me that they are no longer providing plastic utensils for take outs due to a local ordinance banning single use plastics. I asked how should we eat? She gave us plastic gloves. And in fact, thats what they were giving out all the time. So, where is the ban?

Quick service but there is not enough parking space...

Love the place , it reminds me of someone special before .. anyway overall .. THE PLACE IS COOL AND THE FOOD ,SO AS THE STEFFS ARE FRIENDLY 👍👌

it worth the wait.. the time you spent waiting for the food to be serve.. are going to satisfy your level of expectations.

Right infront of the city park.. Parking is a challenge though..

The serving time period is sometimes not consistent. But i assure you, their chao fan with dumplings on it, such a perfect meal.

Food made me sick. Got food poisoning. Other Philippines restaurant I have no problem. Just Chowking.

Fast food really

Worst fast food chain in calbayog! The service sucks and serving time isnt befitting of a fast food chain! Crews are apathetic. Food is good but Not recommended if youre in a hurry.

The fried rice in chowking is not good, I dont know maybe just the chef. But I hope it will improve much better.

A nice alternative for other fast food in the vicinity, wasnt usually crowded and the food was great specially their chao fan.

Not as crowded as Jollibee on peak times.

Visit here with my family and order my favorite Sweet and Sour Fish, The place are not so crowd, limited parking space for cars may for 3 or 2, but more available space on motorcycle.

We love the fried chicken here.

While this place is located near Nijaga Park which is always buzzing with hungry travelers, students and those who just doing their recreational activities, Chowking Calbayog can be slow in terms of service. But you will be greeted with cheerful employees and foods which is at par with chowking standards so I can still recommend this place if youre looking for a place to dine near the plaza.

Food and service is ok. CR are not regularly cleaned.

I dont know, prices of food items here is somewhat above normal.

I like the Chinese Fried Chicken and the Orange Chicken.
