Nice place but too much crowded places for no reason go with small vehicle to park near and then go for shopping for easy shopping.

You can get all you want in chowk bazaar.Only thing is you should have bargaining skills. I bought a blazer, kurta and some other stuff and its all good.Dont use car...get a Scotty to reach al there as thers lot of traffic and no parking space

This market or bazar can fulfill your any requirements,wether it be taste or tradition.In terms of quality you will get from low to above average quality but finding high end products here would be a tough task.

Can be organised in a better way in terms of parking otherwise its a place where every resident of new Bhopal will love to go. It is reasonably priced with variety n some of the oldest shops in Bhopal.

Chowk bajar is good for window shopping. Similiar to Delhi chandani chowk bazar.u can go via auto aur texi. Dont go their by self four wheeler.its the area of heavy traffic and parking facility is not good. So better to go via two wheeler or cab or auto.

Must try some fast food here.. And yes! Shopkeepers test your bargaining skill... Chowk Bazaar is best for window shopping.I got so many things at really good price but parking management is really poor and unsafe.Roads are good but so much traffic.

You can find anything and everything there in reasonable price. Be it jewelry or dress, a perfect place for wedding shopping in Bhopal. Not giving 5 stars because people on 2 wheelers irritate alot, as they come in between people walking and keep on pressing horn in background, which is very irritating. So, 2 wheelers should be banned in market,like it was done earlier.

I loved this market, I visited once, crowded area. I bought few earrings and bangles for my mom and she liked very much. You will find the seprate market for electronic, machine, clothing, makeup etc etc. You will access the auto easily, also chowk bazar comes under old Bhopal or old Bhopal ki baat laajwaab hai ❤️Overall we had fun.

The only thing, I wanna say about chowk bazaar is that, Its genuinely the best place to buy each and everything in bhopal. I really do enjoy shopping there. After new market, its the only place, where you can get whatever you want, you just need to have a good knowledge of different areas of chowk bazaar and a pocket full of money, because you are going to get crazy after seeing the variety available there.

Its a good place for shopping clothes but only for women ,there are very few shops of clothes for men. And yes its a bit crowdy area specially during festive seasons.

Huge traffic for new visitors. This place is very congested and no space for cars. But the biggest advantage is that you can get quality products at low prices except at any other place on bhopal. So I suggest you to visit it once.

You will find everything for you needs here if you know the market. Bargaining is most important here however there are many shops with fixed prices or fixed discounts which do not bargain.The main issue here is traffic, the streets are mostly crowded and narrow. The is no proper parking available. I dont know how people dont ask government to take action on that.The shops extend their material onto the road and this makes the road more narrow.People walking face difficulty. Those who are driving also face difficulty. Parking is the biggest problem where you dont have space to park your vehicle from where you want to buy products.What I have experienced, anyhow all this is managed by local people and they are not willing to change anything. I have seen this market since my childhood and nothing has changed here.I remember few years ago once no vehicle zone was introduced in the market and barricades were used so people dont take their vehicles into the market, but it doesnt work as expected and the place became same as before.If people try and want to change the place to turn into a modern market it would be the best market in the entire state for shopping and increase business for local.Thanks for reading and Bye for now and see you in another review

I give it 4 stars, for pocket friendly shopping (especially for womenits good. Chowk bazar has a good gold and silver jewellery market, there are small food stalls where you can treat your appetite and thirst. A little conjested.

Really crowded market with nothing extraordinary, just hoards of shops one after the after. It would be fun for some but for those who are averse to crowds and cramped places this would be one to avoid. Better to go for new market which is less crowded and offers a better shopping experience. Maneuvering through the crowd and getting out and also be quite a challenge.

It is a really old market and has its own charm. The market looks busy all the time and you can anything you want at the best rates possible.This old market of Bhopal is full of narrow streets, filled with shops selling everything from a pin, to jewellery to clothes and what have you. Visited it this morning as my wife wanted to buy some silver jewellery for our daughter and was impressed with the plethora and variety of shops. We were slightly early and thus the market was not too crowded, but it would have been chock a block full, if it was later in the day. A must visit place for anyone wanting to pick up traditional stuff of Bhopal and MP.
