Chopper's Sports Bar in Chumphon

A cool sport pub where you would find many TVs hanging up on the wall with a huge projector. There is a pool table if your peeps got bored watching soccer, but I doubt it. Each mornitor has different sports to keep you occupied...

You should do the pub crawl here if you want to get to know new people. But the vodka lemon I got tasted like pure sprite.

Get as drunk as possible in the least amount of time. If thats your thing, this is your bar. Food is ok, but expensive for what you get.

Happy hour prices is good, this is the place where the pub crawl starts, the day we went pub crawl was cancelled because of full moon party less staff.

Did part of The Koh Tao Pub Crawl here & had fun dancing & singing along with the live musician before heading to Fishbowl.Cant say much of anything else since I dont drink - but do join the pub crawl when youre on the island!

Good place to have drinks and food.. they also organise pub crawl party which include pool party, cabaret, live music and party in evening. Good young crowd and party lover organiser.. club located very near to beach.. must visit..

Cool place for an Ozzie to watch a game, but nachos were pretty dissapointing. Tiny spoon of sour cream, no guac and 2 jalapenos. Also really think they shouldnt have plastic straws!

They show a large range of sports and have a decent pool table to use, free of charge. Unfortunately the drinks are expensive in comparison to most other places.

Go to jam bar to the left of Tao tattoo opposite! The bar tenders are amazing here and so much more fun!

Here they have the best pub crawl i have ever attended! Dont go from Koh Tao without experiencing it. Included t-shirt, bucket, pool party and lady boy show.

Burger was good, nachos plate was too small and not very good( cheese one big clump). Beer expensive unless happy hour price.

The place is a blast, whether you wanna kick back with some drinks and finger food and enjoy the game, come early just for the food or come late to find some cool people to hang out with. It’s very close to sairee beach without having that bro beach party club feel. Five stars for you mates!

So much fun here, the pub crawl is a blast! It would be 5 stars but its always way too hot here. Staff are great and good drink prices.

Played the Superbowl mk day morning at 6am! Multiple televisions showing the game. Special superbowl menu with good food. Servers were very attentive and always refilling drinks as needed! Great time

Staff was really friendly and there were some vibes going on ;)As for the pub crawl:* meet the organizers before Choppers on Mon / Wed / Fri / Sun between 6:00 and 7:30 pm for purchasing your ticket* schedule usually is 19:45 Lotus Bar (pool), 21:00 Queens Cabaret, 22:00 Choppers, 23:xx Fishbowl ... so if you are late you should be able to catch up anyways* ticket is 480 TBH for 1st time, 380 TBH for 2nd time, 280 TBH for 3rd timeUpdate ( 2019-01-11 ):Been visiting outside of pub crawl but at the same time. Bucket price was 400 TBH ( pub crawl people 200 TBH and the bartender tried to sell me a bucket of vodka + water - which I would never ever order in lifetime - as sangsom + cola; 3 stars reduction for that bucket scam attempt and since value for money ( and quality of drinks outside of pub crawl is just outrageous ... I tried the very same bucket of a pub crawl order and the aussie next to me, who ordered the same and gave mine a try as I said its not a nice bucket, agreed mine was ways worse.My summary is: got there with the pub crawl its nice and can be fun ... otherwise just avoid as it feels like a rip off in comparison with all the other nearby places.

The Koh Tao Pub Crawl there is absolutely mental! Definitely worth the 3 day hangover.

Dont order any food here. I ordered something, waited 1 hour, and the got the run-around when I asked where it was. They said they couldnt find me when the food was ready, even though I didnt move from my seat when I ordered. Then they refused to give me a refund, because "they already gave the food to someone at my table"The drinks are watered down too.

Burgers tasted amazing but 2 people from our group have got ill from them. Possibly food poisoning. There was also a man behind the bar that wasnt very happy or lively. Because of this were missing out on the bar crawl today

HQ for the crazy Koh Tao pub crawl taking place each Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday @6/7pm. Already miss it.

This place host the Koh Tao Bar Crawl event including a live music band. Havent ordered much from their menu so cant say much about their alcohol or food.A good place to dance around the tables and around a small area in front of the stage.

Sports bar with great atmosphere. Drinks are not that expensive. Food however needs an upgrade, my burger was definitely frozen when thrown on the plate as the outsides were very hard and not tasty.

I dont think the staff member i dealt with could count. Got differnt change every time. But they were cool. Fairly pricey compaird to locals. But good place to watch sport. Also the step in can be dangerous. Nearly bust me nut one night.

So we got to the island and paid 450 baht a ticket for joining the chopper crowd. After paying and participating, I thought it was silly we could have just fallowed the crowd anyways and not wasted a bucket of vodka and soda... it wasnt that great it felt like we just paid to hang out in a crowd. On the other hand, the food was good...

One of the staff Max I would like to give a huge shout out too. He is professional n a great young man. He is very knowledgeable about the island. Very helpful no matter what query. The bar is nice for people who go on a holiday to get wasted. The vibe is good especially when theres live music. That really sets the tone.. reason for the 2 stars is that they have the nastiest bathroom i have ever been to in my life.

Choppers is an awesome laid back bar and the meeting point for the pub crawl. Im not normally a live music at bars sort of person, but the guy playing while I was there was exceptional. Lots of great classics, great set of lungs, and fun personality.Prices were reasonable and they are cool with drinking games here.

I had just been seated at choppers and I was reading the menu in front of me when, out of nowhere, the waiter took away the menu I was reading to give to another table. Ive never seen such an absurd behavior before
