Ordered a chocken gyros. The fries was rasreless and The lack of sauce did made my gyros taste like papper.

We have had quite a few Gyros in our two week holiday in Greece and Chop Chop is the only one we took the time to review. McDonalds esk French fries with tender pork belly that cannot be beat. If I lived in Iraklio I would be fat.

Excellent quality and taste. The portions are huge and really pricey (we payed only 3€ ordering a pita and we were fulfilled for hours). I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something cheap and fast.

Excellent place for street food! The food is fresh, quick and very good value. There’s variety of three types of souvlaki, herbal burgers and others. The meat is laid out for you to see the fresh produce being cooked. The lady was so kind and friendly and she gave me a Fanta on the house which was a lovely gesture and sign of the famed Greek hospitality!

Good street food, we recommend to take the souvlaki, not the pita(it’s mainly filled with fries and has less chicken in it).It’s a good option if you have limited time for lunch/dinner and you want something good, easy and fast to eat.Place has some benches in front so you can easily eat there.

Quality is deteriorating over time....Was once a very nice place to eat sth on the go. It is not the case anymore

(+Grilled meat of a good quality, stuffed in bread along with potatoes, tomatoes, onions and sauce if chosen or plain meat along with potatoes without bread.(-Its a bit pricey given that meat is a few small pieces.(-no place to sit and no sink to wash hands after meal(-its noisy with people walking up n down while eating and this could be disturbing for some people.

The best meat a street food stall could offer, and cheap! Veal and pork souvlaki are of amazing quality. As a side dish only fresh tomatoes, fries, yogurt and pita are available, and beverages are all canned. But for a quick bite the meat is really worth it.

One of the best meat we ate during our 10 days in Greece! Very cheap and fast service. There is not a lot of space to seat, so might be easier to take away at rush hour.

One of the best if not the best Greek gyros in Heraklion.

Portion is big for less than 3€ ~ there are a few options for the sandwich.. i ordered the baguette and it was filling! handful of chips with the meat you choose. not forgetting the sauces that are available at the counter! not sure what it was but the light pink and the light yellow goes well with the sandwich.. service was fast and the lady who took my order is patient and helpful! don’t miss chop chop when you’re here ~

Landed into Heraklion quite late. Jet lagged and hungry, I stumbled upon this place. Ordered a chicken souvlaki baguette w/ everything. The chicken was nicely cooked, the baguette was more of a hoagie, and “everything” I think meant stuffing the sandwich with fries. Reminds me of when we (used to?put potato chips into our sandwiches. Fantastic value. Baguette was €2.90 at the time of writing.

On holiday from California. Must say the Souvlaki is amazing. Got it in a bread. Comes with fries. Chicken Souvlaki with everything was only 2.50 euros

I was on holiday in crete come a cross this little place looking for lunch. And great lunch it was to nice local people and food.

The best place for souvlaki in Heraklion. Its truly an experience. The only downside is the long wait.
