I enjoy the greens and macaroni although I did have to add some seasoning. The ribs were not done at all . I had to put them in the oven to finish cooking. Disappointed!

Kinda expensive yea now up to 13 per meal but i love they pig feet and greens.

The meat was pretty good but the sides are really bad and that’s the best part to me.

The meat taste rotten I had the brisket and there was a really bad odor.

Brisket was rotten could tell it’s been frozen and microwaved spit it out right away. Highly recommend not waisting your money. Potato salad tasted like dirty dishes smell horrible. Will never go back. Best thing about the meal was a can Dr Pepper and the pickles.

Awesome lunch! The ribs are tender, large, and the bbq sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and tangy. The sausage was perfectly cooked, peppered, and delicious. Small dine-in area, easily sat our team of 6 for a lunch. Friendly and kind folks here, highly recommend!

Great BBQ! Korean style with American flavors very good. Drive thru only and for the size of the restaurant you can be caught on a long line unfortunately.

Went to this place for Chiterlings. They were out before 11:00 am. We had pig feet, greens, cold slaw, sweet tea, and cornbread. Delicious food.

The chitterlings are clean as best as a chitterling can be...it tast real good with some hot sauce if you nasty. Im nasty the bbq is not smokehouse quality but overall not bad not great its descent.

Hot home cooking, fresh food. The staff is polite and professional. I truly enjoy their food, so do my grandchildren.

Been here a few times. It’s been amazing every time. Chopped beef sandwich is my favorite!!! Have to try it! Some people’s review say foods bland, but what do you want on white rice and beans? It was good for me-The chicken plate is a great deal for the amount you get. And I think they smoke the meats not grilled. I’m assuming it’s family owned, and it’s great to still have small business like this in town.

I love choices. Its not for everyone. But great customer service. I always get the rib plate. Just my preference. Everything is good. Sometimes you require some salt and pepper. But I definitely recommend this as an great option for BBQ

First was the BBQ Combo I think it was called with a spare rib, hot link, and some righteous Texas brisket. The meat were meaty and portion generous given the price point. I sided with collards and mac and cheese. Both were top-notch! Second was the Soul Food box with smoked ham hocks, collards, and potato salad. The hocks were meaty and rich and even now Im day-dreaming about them. Another excellent box of down home deliciousness and for sure Ill revisit next time Im in Killeen!

Great service, but if your a person that has a developed palate, you will not be impressed with the food here. Everything taste like its out of a can.

I had the bbq dinner consisting of Brisket, Pork Rib, and Sausage and Collard Greens and Mac and Cheese as my sides. For $9.99 plus tax its worth the price however the collard greens obviously came from a can and tons of salt was added to them. The brisket and rib didnt taste like they were smoked in a pit and were possibly done in the oven or a crock pot. Not much flavor to them even with the tons of sauce they poured over all of the meats. Sausage was delicious and the corn bread was good too.

The sliced beef brisket sandwich smothered in pickles, onions and BBQ sauce is my favorite. Greens, black eyed peas & cornbread always hitting too. I eat there at least once a week. Walking in theyre fast and take call in orders as well.

Delicious and visibly pleasing southern comfort food. We order quantities, freeze them and take requested dishes particularly the ribs, back to California. Nice, friendly staff and customers.

I ordered the bbq half chicken plate. The chicken tasted like it was boiled and drizzled with a thin bbq sauce. The yams were okay. The collard greens tasted bland. The staff was nice and friendly.

My bbq chicken tasted like boiled chicken with bbq sauce. No grill marks. Corn bread was dry. Candy yams was not good either. I tried eating it because I dont like wasting food and esp my money but it ended up in the trash 😕

Went today during lunch today. OMG the chitterlings are so good!!!!! I really love the ham hocks. Its so tasty. I will most definitely be back

The dining area seemed clean. I ordered the beef brisket plate with collard greens and cole slaw to go The brisket tasted like it had been boiled before or maybe after it was smoked. The cole slaw was just average, but the collard greens were quite good. I wont be going there again.

This was absolutely the most incredible food I have eaten, everything was delicious. True smokehouse barbecue, with the smoker outside. The owner is the sweetest man, so attentive, and truly cared about customer service. I’m so sad we do not have this restaurant in OKC. I’ll definitely will eat there again before we leave.

My family has been coming here for years.. And when I say years YEARS! okay. The chitterlings all we get.. Maybe here and there a BBQ plate but choices is our spot for the chitterlings !! Great quality but poor quantity once prices went up the size went down. Upset about that but I guess I would have to spend extra just get more .. But the food is fantastic. Try it.

Food was great! The prices are good for some “home cooked” southern bites! The plate meals are the way to go, and if you are willing to try any sandwich, I recommend the Rib Sandwich. Tender, juicy and add their extra BBQ Sauce for the best flavor!

Best BBQ chicken I have ever had. Lots of food for the price!!! Sides are always steaming so hot when they first come out, you have to let them cool down to eat them. I started swinging by once a week.

Last night I ordered takeout for my wife and myself. I ordered a half chicken BBQ plate and a barbecue rib plate. The ribs were very needy and very tender. The chicken was moist and large. Both were covered with a light, tangy, smoky barbecue sauce. The yams, coleslaw, collard greens and black-eyed peas were delightful additions to our meats. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was delivered to me with minimal delay. It was quite a delightful experience!

I love this place. I have been eating here for years. I usually get the combo plate & my son gets the lunch special with the bbq chicken or chopped beef sandwich. We both enjoy it. The staff is very friendly.

Food is not good. My sliced beef sandwich was nasty. My mac and cheese was over cooked. The sweet potatoes were decent, but the restaurant is not worth returning to. I did not enjoy the food. If you are looking for soul food, as I was, look some where else.

Love they food. Been going there for yrs now. But Sometimes they give u old food tho cause my last few times the food been hard and tough like its been cooked days before.

Everything is drowned in BBQ sauce. Thats a hallmark of bad BBQ. The brisket was sliced with the grain not against. The beef ribs seemed like they were boiled. The sausage was tolerable. The potato salad is straight out of sysco bucket. The pinto beans are out of a can. I will not be going here again.
