Museum with displays about the history of chocolate, demonstrations, tastings & a retail store.
Went here on a field trip with a school. A different experience compared to other chocolate factories schools would go to. Gallery is eye-catching and engaging. The chocolate workshop was a great experience for both teachers and students.
Free entry for Museum 1.0 (basically 2mins walk). Ticket price for Museum 2.0 is RM5(Adultand RM3(kids). Small “museum” packed with chocolate information. Shop various chocolate at cheaper price here.
Faiz Danial and Previous Kakak-Kayla very nice tqq for the tour
Good chocolate good service handsome and mr Daniel is a good man
Do you know that there IS a chocolate museum in KL? Not only there is one, but they also manufacture custom made chocolate there!😱😱😱If you want a special order type of chocolate for a birthday or wedding gift, this is the place to go. My wife has been coming here for years to get her orders, and the quality of chocolate they produce are really good and exquisite!!😋😋😋
Joined Junior Chocolatier workshop. Friendly staffs, kids have fun happy because of chocolate everywhere.
having taste a chocolate made by chef. Its was a great moment to be at this place for chocolate lover, all the staff are nice and helpful. Easy parking too.
Easy parking..good to bring children for know how about chocolate and its history..you can also buy chocolate here from home made to imported one..
We had great chocolate-making experience at chocolate museum. With the great service by fatihah, chef Kayla and farhan! They are really awesome, all of us 50 people really enjoyed very much!
Like the place very much very simple full of many information about the chocolate Not a huge museum! Regardless, Its a must visit place for any ages and very well artistically designed and displayed. More importantly its easy and straightforward in every explanation. I wish I had more time to read it all again. The staff is all smiles and very kind there are tons of information about chocolate, the history of its origins, pioneers in the manufacturing of chocolates and health benefits. There’s a "chocolate" train which goes off at specific times. The train is fun to watch and the children would love it. At the end, you’ll see a chocolate Petronas Twin Towers. Head to the Chocolate Shop after you finish touring the museum. There is also a Chocolate Kitchen next to the Chocolate Shop where you can watch a chocolate making demo. At the end of the demo, you get to try the chocolate. We tried and it was really good quality chocolate with high content of cocoa. There are many varieties of chocolate sold at the chocolate shop. To end the trip, bring home some chocolates as souvenirs.
Good place for coming with family and friends
Basic set up. Just to go over for an hour and buy chocolates….
Everything about chocolate is good
Awesome new xperience for the kids especially
If you’re a chocolate lover, do check out this place. Even if you’re not, it’s a nice place to spend the morning with the children if you run out of ideas where to go. It is in the industrial side of Kota Damansara. The place is run by DR Group with businesses in airport retail. Here, there are tons of information about chocolate, the history of its origins, pioneers in the manufacturing of chocolates and health benefits. Take a stroll, enjoy the exhibits and take some photos. There’s a "chocolate" train which goes off at specific times. The train is fun to watch and the children would love it. An awesome educational experience for everyone especially chocolate lovers. A hidden tourist destination worth visiting which most people are not aware of. Very informative and friendly staff to greet & guide you. You will love shopping for local & imported chocolates at the Chocolate Galleria. Kudos to the Museum Crew!
Good experience. Great if (aimprovement/availability of lavatory in the main building, (bbigger retail space for chocolate related baking stuff and (cbetter signage/information.
Chocolate museum 1.0 - FREEChocolate museum 2.0 - NEED TICKETS
The mini train didnt run. a whole bunch of us were waiting around for it (there was a schedule there). if not running they should say so. no proper signage on where to start or buy tickets..and the kitchen near the shop no one was doing any demonstration..all this on a sunday..wouldnt have gone if i had known these 2 things were not happening..there should be proper info and lots of improvements to be made
Its was a great moment to be at this place for chocolate lover, all the staff are nice and helpful...having taste a chocolate made by chef (its free and I got two of it🤗).. Im also love to see how the train moving at 2.0 museum and it give me a great experience 😇Because of this, I want to bring family and kids to this place 😁Thank you Chocolate Museum 🤓
Normally I will give four to five star for such experience. All the staffs were very kind except the cashier (womanwho handle my purchase she was not polite. I am not sure what is her name but I am can find out from the receipt. This could be a perfect trip if not because of her.I would like to extend my special thanks to the boy who dressed up as a chef who was in charge of chocolate making process who volunteered to help my son through the chocolate museum 2.0 as my daughter refused to go in so I must company her outside unlike the cashier the chef is very understanding. Why would a customer who bought rm300 worth of chocolate refused to pay rm3 entrance? I already explained to her and all she insist was buy ticket buy ticket, I just ask her will the exit be the same place or different. Only people who usually take advantage of buying one ticket and use for more than one person will think other people also do the same like her.
Quite interesting. Lots of information about the history & the processes of producing the chocolate...Lastly, on exit, there a chocolate shops where we can buy variety of chocolate...
We were there while there is a kindergarten trip so we followed the group while the staff was explaining. The staff good at explaining it in a fun way towards kids. The session to go through the museum is short, unless you would like to read eveything from it. The chocolate shop serves variety of chocolates. Not much but okaylah, no need to go to Langkawi. But the space is kind of compact so it is quite suffocating when there were many people and kids inside. Parking is easy.
Not a huge museum! Regardless, its a very very enchanting and informative place for those claiming chocolate crazy or lovers like me! As a huge fan of a bitterly dark chocolate containing 90% cocoa mass above, after visiting here, the information gathered and understood from the museum firmly reasurred me to go for enjoying as much as some quality dark chocolate as possible. No other sweet sugary ones! 🤣Its a must visit place for any ages and very well artistically designed and displayed. More importantly its easy and straightforward in every explanation. I wish I had more time to read it all again. The staff is all smiles and very kind to let me know when it close and where to go after the museum 1 to museum 2 etc. Thanks again! I will for sure revisit again with my little son. 🤩🇲🇾🍫
Some interesting facts and history about chocolate and the origin. There are old machine for chocolate making being displayed. Sculptures made of chocolate are on display. In the end we can buy chocolate. Parking is free.
Informative museum on the history of chocolate / cocoa as well as how the sticky brown stuff is made - albeit one that’s also kinda small...And seems like the main highlight is the shop where people tend to buy loads of chocolate products, like what we get in Langkawi! 🍫
Bought more than RM300 worth of chocolates from warehouse sales! Many people & have to queue to get inside. Luckily warehouse has air conditioning so its not warm! Good variety of local as well as imported chocolates!
Coming here for SAPUMK educational trip on 2013. The process of making your most tongues temptation was interesting. Coming here directly was a bonus as you can get promotion for every purchase of chocolate or snack. Yummy 😋
Suitable for family with small kids.Free admissions for 1part of museum. And another part will be only enter with ticket. Ticket can be purchased on shop. And reasonable price
My false for my high expectation. This museum is basically a very simple place. It has part 1 which is free. Inside, just like a gallery and origin of chocolate and the chocolate brand creator. And through out the end, you will see shop that sells chocolate. If you want to go to the part 2 museum, you need to buy the ticket from the chocolate shop. It cost you RM5 perperson. Inside the part 2, you will see more. It is just a short journey. No chocolate making but it is just like a chocolate information museum. Not much of chococolate being shown but more to the creator of chocolate brands. It was fun if you want to have a relaxing trip. I just expect more where I can touch and taste the chocolate. But overall it is good to learn new things.
Very small museum though it had some comprehensive information on the history of chocolate. Its a shame we missed the chocolate train as it has a schedule. Chocolate shop has a fair few brands but not that much cheaper than elsewhere though it has items you cant get at the supermarket. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Admission fees is quite cheap.
The layout of the museum is very confusing for the first time visitors. Supposedly the shop must be at the entrance and the cashier at the counter can guide on the flow (as there are 2 sections of the museum). Please do make immediate change to improve it. Anyway the contents is sufficient and the display is very well organize. Bravo!
Theres nothing much to see in this Museum. Its just very common display. I dont find the rm5 entrance fee worth it.
Its a good place to learn about the history of chocolate and its making. The chocolate offer in their store is a bit expensive though.
Small museum with few outdated factoids and some signs not translated to English. Otherwise, information on the history and production of chocolate is very comprehensive. The chocolate demonstration is a very basic one (but its free! And you get to have a few samples after the demo. The chocolate shop sells chocolates at a slightly discounted price but dont expect to find many international brands there.
I was amazed at how beautiful this Chocolate Museum. Full of information on cocoa and chocolate. Its great to bring children so they can learn more about chocolate processing. There is a demonstration of chocolate making. The staffs are friendly and we really appreciate their hospitality. We can buy chocolate products at very affordable prices. Recommended place to visit.
chocolates they sell are so expensive.. but it was interesting since we get to know about chocolates more..
Surprisingly interesting experience. The museum is decent, a bit of general knowledge about chocolate, and the industry in Malaysia.
I really enjoyed this museum. For just RM5 for adult, RM3 for student & RM2 for kids.theres a lot of information here. I suggested to those who love chocolate to come here.
The chocolate museum is the right door. You have to buy tickets to enter. However the main door on the left is the old small museum which is free to enter. Contains brief history, evolution and benefits of chocolate. Go through this part and you will find a small chocolate shop. Full of imported chocolate with premium prices. Recommended to visit only when theres a promotion season. Otherwise skip to your regular chocolate shop.
An interesting concept, where we walked through history of chocolate making. It was a small place, and just after about 20 m, we arrived at the chocolate shop, but the chocolates are a lot more expensive than what you can get elsewhere.
My firts time been there just for the chocolate warehouse sale.. not really cheap cos i can get the better price at duty free shop..•They sell super cheap chocolate because of nearer to the expiry date🙄
Nice place to visit while you can buy chocolate at lower prices. Not sure if it is a factory or just selling chocolates. Visited it on a Tuesday morning and it was quiet, no other visitors.
It has a small museum telling the history of chocolate in front, a chocolate factory at the back, and in between is a chocolate shop with loads and loads of chocolates (what else? 😉😋- some with good discounts, some made in the factory itself. No Willie Wonkas were found wandering inside though...
Nice museum. Could have been better. Chocolate demonstration is done at 12pm. So please come & try yourself. The chefs really tought us on how to consume chocolate & the difference between high & low quality chocolate.
New experience, such an amazing moments because:1. Get to know about chocolate history by a friendly Chocolatier (We got to taste real choco beans!)2. See a process of chocolate crystalization made by Chocolatier3. Chances to taste a free handmade chocolate made by Fidani, yummeh!4. Shopping imported chocolate at the Choc Stop
Love this place..served many type of chocolate. If you are the chocolate lover there is the place.. free entrance!
We came to this museum without any high expectation. There weren’t a lot of visitor when we arrived . The exhibition is more of how ancient people discover cocoa. I appreciate the staff inside , they saw us and took the initiative to let us try their chocolate when we were peeking into the demo chocolate making place . It is certainly an interactive experience. We were lucky too that there was a demonstration of chocolate making . For those want to go for the cafe, it is temporary close for renovation .
They have the best chocolate shop. The fidani Chocolate is exceptionally nice with a melt in the mouth sensation. Its absolutely delicious. If you make arrangements, they offer tours too. The museum is small but really detailed and interesting. A must see for chocolate enthusiasts
A small and cute museum which explains history about famous chocolate brands and their beginnings. You can buy custom made chocolate here.
