Chitis Restaurant (Akenzua Refectory) - Restaurant in Enugu-Ezike, Nigeria
They have quality food
Chitis is large for sure. Its a place for a small and big gatherings. Ive never seen them run out of tables. Its located at a good siting. The food is great. They hardly serve stale food. The food is quite small for the price and without free water as other restaurants do. But the taste is great. The service is nice, especially when customers are fewer. They never have a complete change to give out. These people 😅.The VIP is very affordable. Not quite VIP-ish but it gives privacy. The restrooms cant be used unless you buy things from them. Thats their policy. The drinks and cakes are expensive. I guess thats why its Chitis right?Chitis bread is still one of the best. The shawarma needs improvement though.
The attendant were laughing at my guest... Its cool tho... Then my meat wasnt fried properly some bloods were in it
It was nice though.. I just forgot to take pictures.. thier rice and vegetable sauce was really delicious
Cool place to hangout, theyve got the best African salad in Nsukka metropolis.
I honestly cant mention a single positive thing about this place. It gets 2 stars though because everyone in the school knows the place and it is a good meeting spot.
It is tough to choose the best restaurant in the whole of the University community, but Chitis has always stood out with their consistency in terms of quality of dishes served and excellent costumer service.
Been a student for 4 years and the only consistent things in Chitis are the rude behaviour of the staff and their increment in prices. But they do however have nice selection of assorted meats...thats all.
Very spacious and they have good and cheap foods...its been another one of my favorite spots to eat since I came to Nsukka. I will definitely miss this place. They have good shawarma as well...what else...one or two or more friendly staffs. And that freshly baked bread...thats good. So yeah I would surely recommend this place to YOU!
Chitis is nice every one knows that that Moi Moi I very interesting..The first time I took their puff puff it was really nice but this time around it was just too oily.
Their staffs dont know what pizza means their product line is at a low minimalNot really conducive lacks social amenitiesEnvironment is dirtyCharges for using the toiletOver 10 theyd be getting a 2 from me
It is a popular and old eatery located within the heart of campus. It is easy to locate and the meals there are affordable and fairly tasty. Some can be quite filling too if you are very hungry. They also sell great snacks, shawarma, fruit drink, have a bakery, etc
Chitis is one of the best eateries in UNN, they serve varieties of food which is one of the reasons I patronize them unlike their counterparts and also have a VIP lounge where one can celebrate birthdays or other occasions. I recommend their bread👌. The downside is that their customer service is nothing to write home☹☹ about like its a custom not to satisfy their customers and the workers are unfriendly atimes.
All in one fast food and restaurant...quite spacious. Can get both continental and local dishes. Also has a functional bakery.
A big place with good food. But its not really high-end or clean, with flies and stuff everywhere. Students like it though m
Have had history with Chitis when i was in school and even now, this one of the best places in UNN to a get a decent dish at a good cost, check them out
Spacious interior, good for meeting venue. Car parking is along the road. Customer service is extremely poor. Staff are very slow to serve customers. They need competition to buckle up
Chitis is one of the well known restaurants in University of Nigeria Nsukka. Its known for its delicacies and neatness. If you stay around Nsukka I think its time you pay a visit, and for those that are visiting Nsukka for the first time dont miss out, Chitis is best for you. Go and have a nice meal!!!
Their food is cheap but doesnt taste really nice sometimes.
Housed in the converted Oba Akenzua Refectory, Chitis has established itself as a choice eatery in UNN. Their assortment of meals is wide enough to accommodate most tastes. Although the prices may be a bit expensive for students, the quantity and quality of their food matches fairly with the price. They also try their best to make their dishes as delicious as possible. The VIP section is also a good idea but the whole purpose could be defeated when it takes too long to get someone to open it.They however need to improve on customer service. The waiters are courteous but it must be said that a lot of their service processes are run poorly (serving cold food, sometimes taking incredibly long to bring the requested food, etc). They also need to do something about regularly dusting the VIP section. I would understand why they lock the toilets but it could be a little annoying sometimes.Don’t leave without trying their specialty bread options. I’ll return again whenever I visit Nsukka.
Really good food. Nice Environment. And good service. But they usually lock up their convenience and do not accept cashless means of transaction.
Ok..am very sad at their services. They had to take back the food I bought for 1,490naira all because of 10naira. Meanwhile other days I eat there they either owe a maximum of 70naira to minimum of 20naira. Its so bad
Chitis restaurant is the place to be at UNN, in matters of chilling out or cooling off. The environment is cool and cozy for a solo, duo or quartet refreshment all day long. But they need more hands to serve the ever waiting and enduring customers wanting to eat out there.Observation- the trend of owing customers and delaying many over small money changes should be made to discontinue.A Debt Register with Name, staff or student number, gsm, Amount and date, could be kept for hasty students and staff who could not wait for their change immediately, to come back for them later, after due Identification.
If you are within UNN and you want a good place to have a well prepared meal, this is the place to be. Nice environment and ideal for a lunch break
Chitis has been here for a while and I think their consistency has helped them remain the top eatery in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. However, their customer services still needs some work.Their food on the other hand is pretty good and most times well prepared. You may fall in love with it on first try 😉.But if youre searching for that local delight, Id suggest you visit somewhere else.
Chitis food is very cheap to afford and their spices are enticing. Food 🍲 are wonderful. And they have carey receptions.
Nice food,But they should work on their customer service and the environment. They should maintain their equipment properly their is a gaint health hazard sitting right beside the ice cream stand, really I wonder how much they need to pay off the health and safety inspectors if their was one. Please do not by the ice cream, the vanilla tastes like saw dust and the chocolate taste like frozen choco beverage i was to scared to try the strawberry.Their pastries have no taste or life in them they just look delicious but dont be fooled, their meat pies and sausages are terrible i once ate spoilt meat, like they dont check shelf life.Their bread was okay really I liked it, but seriously liked isnt going to make me buy that again its too dry and hard too be eaten.I really think that a lot of work needs to be done.
Most local food varieties are served. Waiters put in their best during peak hours however, they need adequate training to deliver professionally.
Chitis is the usual port of call for university staff and students when they are hungry. Varieties of snacks (ice cream, meat pie, shawarma, pop corn, sausage roll, etcdrinks and food are sold here. They also sell local delicacies which are not commonly found in conventional eateries. The eating hall is always neat and decent. Chitis freshly baked bread is delicious and affordable. The toilet is always neat. However, quality control is poor. I once bought expired yoghurt here; and not long after, they served my friend spoilt food. The management needs improvement.
This is a very popular restaurant in the institution, it is open to both academic and non academic staff and students of the university. It is located in a very clean and serene environment, and has spacious sitting arrangement.Their prices has always been normal. They offer freshly baked bread & confectionery, and dishes of different types.
This is a very popular spot for the staff and students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It has a large area sectioned into two, and predominantly with tables for 4. Its wheelchair-accessible, and an ideal spot for meals and meetings, or just for relaxation.Chitis offers a motley of food, drinks, provisions, snacks, and pastries at fairly affordable prices. They cater to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, however, they do not make home deliveries. Alcoholic drinks are not sold here, but there is tea and coffee.Cash and card are accepted here. There is a restroom for guys and ladies each, and about two television sets on both sides of the divided area for a better general experience.Have a great time!

Chitis is one of the best restaurants in university of Nigeria nsukka. They sale fresh meals and good chops.
Is a very nice restaurant, one of the very best in University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It is well designed has a very spacious environment for eating and hanging out with friends. It does has a wheelchair accessible entrance, no parking space so there is no wheelchair accessible parking. It is a very nice place for dining alone.
The meal was very good, tho the attention given was not really cool.
I medium sized restaurant with an array of meals including breakfast, available. There are side shops for ice cream, pop corn and shawarma.Smoothies are also available
Ive been there just once, but I cant erase the serenity out of my mind. Its the best place to eat And be satisfied.
Very nice restaurant. Has a serene and comfortable environment with great sitting arrangement. There is a VIP section in the restaurant for more privacy. The food is nice, not all at least. Recently added great traditional dishes like abacha, Fio Fio etc.All dishes are affordable and assorted.
Its a cool place, you can get your meals at an affordable rate and the Food is prepared in a very neat environment.
It is spacious which makes it ideal for those who just want to eat alone and those who want to hang out in groups. Service system can be improved though. And they need to get a POS.
Music, good food, neat environment and friendly staff. Totally great place to relax and enjoy.
One of the best Restaurants in The University community of UNN.. They have the best Fried rice. They are also the only restaurant that sell Hotdogs.. Food is too pricey and small considering their locale.
Chitis is a nice restaurant, they serve varieties both snacks, breakfast, deserts, and nice baked products. Chitis is customer friendly and a nice outdoor hangout for friends, family and good for dinner outing too..
Good venue for hangouts or take launch breaks.Although their meals are a bit on the high side, they have varieties of dishes on the menu (pastries inclusiveboth local foods too.
Chitis Restaurant is a wonderful place to eat and prvide good services with delicious food.
I liked the place ,it has very good customer service and there food is sweet ,but the price is not for an average student, and one other thing it doesnt have AC
