A good place with long distance for walking, bicycleing and having fun. There are a lot of fancy Coffee Shops and restaurants with good quality. You can also shop for clothes and shoes. The lake has an awesome view of the Sunset. The place is totally family oriented, you and your family will definitely enjoy it. I recommend visiting here at least once.

This is a very lovely place. I think it was necessary to build a big artificial lake like this for this city. Especially when there is a lot of space for urban development around Tehran. This place has a good atmosphere in all four seasons and walking around this lake is very exciting. I really like this place even though it is far from my house. I have been to this place many times and taken many photos and videos. There are many coffee shops and different shopping in this place has made everyone come here for fun and of course shopping. I took this video from this lovely place from a distance while flying.

A place with a beautiful environment. Everyone should go and spend time here. Around the lake, it exists parks, restaurants, shops and other places for spending time and having fun. one of the most interesting visitable places that are located in Tehran.

A good place for cycling, walking or running but restaurants are not that good.

It has a trail for running jugging and riding a bike lots of shops and facilities to use. But the thing is the lake itself smells a little bit on some days and that smell is a deal breaker for me. Also despite of having lots of parking spaces its hard to find a space to park on weekends or other holidays.

A good place to have a walk a ride a bike. You can enjoy the cafes and the restaurants but I dont like most of them due to their poor quality and high prices.

Great place for a walk

Chitgar Lake is an artificial and recreational lake located to the north of Chitgar Park in northwestern Tehran, Iran. Also known as the Lake of the Martyrs of the Persian Gulf, the complex has a total area of around 250 hectares; 130 hectares across the lake and 120 hectares on its coastal zone and resorts.

An artificial lake west of Tehran. Give the floating cafes there a shot. Cool place to walk, hangout and run. Super crowded Thu and Fri

Tehran is not a big shot for tourist , but this is one of the places you can hang out for an evening!

Although Lake Chitgar is an artificial and recreational lake is attractive and boating will be an interesting experience.Next to it, there is a café and restaurant, and no problem with the parking.If you are also interested in cycling, you can rent a bicycle and see around the lake.

Here is an amazing place to have quality time with your family. There is a vast space to walk, a big playground for children and a park for families to rest. On holidays and weekends its very crowded although there is a big parking but its very difficult to find a parking lot. There are plenty of popular restaurants around the lake. Also there is a shopping mall and a theme park. There are boats in the lake available for people to rent.

This place is excellent and with a suitable structure for the disabled and people who use wheelchairs

Good for walking and cycling, though you can rent bicycle from some offices, but I don’t recommend it. Because they might call you a “thief” if you don’t have your ID card on for renting. I had terrible experience with their staff. I’m really sorry for such a low class people.

Good place for walking and bike ride. The parking is very busy in weekend or holidays. It has shopping mall and several restaurants in west of lake. You can rent bike there . It has some place in north and east of lake for have fun like 3d cinema and fishing club and fun fair. You can rent peddle boat or getting on motorboat on lake. The view is really nice in night.

A very, very nice lake with amazing views. Very nice park besides and very nice views of mountains behind the lake, and also there will be a new residential complexes and projects thar will benefit such an amazing place.

A really beautiful place which you should see if you visit Tehran. Very nice for walking or cycling. You can rent bicycle or boat. There are fantastic restaurants around. Many hobbies for children like merry-go-round and fantastic slides.

It is an artificial lake in the Suburb of Tehran appropriate for an evening walk, a family gathering outside having a picnic and even there are facilities for eating there were restaurants lots of stools and I can add you cannot take your animals do like the dog walking is Forbidden theyre

Its a nice place to walk and spend time. There are good cafes and restaurants in Bam Land - a shopping center - near the lake.

We spent a very enjoyable evening at Chitgar lake. The area is clean and modern with a lovely walkway along the lake shore. There are many excellent new restaurants and shops in Bamland. We dined at Mamad a Turkish steak house and were really impressed by the modern decor, excellent food and service. I will definitely go back on my next trip to Tehran!

Is really a nice place to go, especially during summer holidays and trips

It is so nice place for separating weekend but it surrounded by ugly towers. Towers in this area is one of the main reason of Tehran pollution because government built them in the way of tehrans wind corridor. Beautiful small lake in ugly modern area.
