Chisley's Soul Food in Monroe

I really enjoy the food every time I come to Chisleys. The dressing and pig feet are bomb. Along with the Kool-aid. You can never go wrong with any items there.

Decent soul food on the go. Attitude kind of smug. Youll enjoy your meal tho

OMG. I got there at the end of lunch. Had fried wings, candie yams and cabbage which came with bread, cake and a drink. It was delicious and filling. The price was the best . For 2 less than 20. Love this place

Picked up Chiselys for Sunday dinner since my moms power was off. (1Baked turkey wings, dressing, man n cheese and (2Baked chicken, cabbages yams dinners. The turkey wings & yams were the highlights for me. Very, very good! One thing I didnt care was sweet cornbread. Each meal came with either roll or cornbread, soft drink, and sliced cake.,

Different menu each day. Tuesday was fried pork chop in gravy. Yams are like dessert. Great service.

I was so surprised at the food here. Never under estimate a location by its outer appearance. The food was so good, I ordered a togo plate. The chicken was delicious the vegetables where fresh and oh so so good. Id say order a plate to go as well.

Drove 20 minutes to get there, and the doors were locked waaay before their advertised closing time. Visiting from out of town... dont know if this is a consistent occurrence.

I REALLY WANT IT SOME SOUL FOOD....BY IT BEING A SUNDAY MOST OF THE SOUL FOOD RESTURANTS OR CLOSED I WAS SURPRISE THAT CHISLEYS WERE OPEN....I HAVE ATE HERE IN THE PASS NO COMPLAINTS.....THIS TIME 9/17/16 I REALLY DID NOT ENJOY ANYTHING BUT THE CAKE.....I ORDER PIGFEET MAC AND CHEESE AND CABBAGE ......CABBAGE WAS HARD AND TO CRUNCHY ,,,,,PIG FEET VERY VERY BLAND....MAC N CHEESE .....I THOUGH THEY WERE!!!!!! HOMEADE TASTE LIKE CHEAP BOX MAC N CHEESE ......CORN BREAD WAS OLD AS WELL AND BELL PEPPER STICKER WAS ALSO IN MY CABBAGE GREENS ........IM NOT PUTTING THIS UP TO BE NEGATIVE ....JUST TO IMPROVE THE FOOD LIKE IT USE TO BE THANKS ..
