Great long time family restaurant for lovely Chinese food

My friends and I ordered 70€ worth of food not knowing that portions and the quality would not be on par with the price. We ended up being hungry after. Very expensive for not much. One word to disagree this experience: Disappointed.

Delicious soup n.1 and dim sum.

The food that we ordered came fast and its just taste like back in asia , it feels like i am back in my country whenever i ate a mouth of the food10 out of 10 i would recommend anyone if they are trying some chinish / indish dishes. Other then that the restaurant also feels like an asia cusine, the place is comfortable and clean, the employees there are also friendly!

Good quality, authentic food! Great service. Outside seating excellent as well

Lunch menu is just a mix Dimsum which is for me too little to get full but almost full to order another dish.

Good food, good atmosphere, nice service also! Love their stir fry Kailan, Sichuan chicken, and the duck. Recommended, love the neighborhood also. Unfortunately forgot to take picture because it was a good day.

The service was fine but the food was definitely for dutch taste. That was unfortunately disappointing.

Fantastic food, lovely finish. Enjoyed every mouthful of amazing Asian cuisine. 2nd time I have been here and its been exceptional food both times.

It is not a cheap restaurant, i didnt like the idea i had to eat on the top of meanu made of cheap paper once i wanted to remove it i was asked to keep it on the table

Ordered a simple meal from here when i just wasnt feeling like eating much else - a soup and a mild curry. Honestly, not much going on but it was really tasty and I enjoyed it a bit more than I expected. Maybe a little expensive overall for what I ordered, but looks like a good portion size and I will probably try some more dishes here.

Hands down one of the best asian restaurants in town. I did not even try other places to be honest. They have a broad menu including vegetarian options too. The portions are big enough and the prices are fair according to the city standards.

Delicious but a bit more expensive than other Chinese place but you’ll spot the difference. Per each hakau, you get one big fat shrimp inside. However overall it’s a small portion, comparing to other Chinese places

Service slow and food mediocre. Waiting staff have poor understanding of English. Would recommend lunch rather than evening meal.

The Walong restaurant is absolutely overrated in my opinion. The food is below average and way too expensive, if not even overpriced. The staff is rude and not forthcoming. The ambience creates more from the outside than from inside. In addition, the furniture reminds more of cheap garden furniture and is uncomfortable. The food is just not worth the money. Overall, I can only advise against a visit and recommend one of the other localities there.

Asked for vegetarian meals only to not only get rubbish non-vegetarian meals but I was lucky to receive a meat scrap plateau as gift for spending so much money.DO NOT GET FOOD HERE.The quality of the food is appalling and only compares with the owners care for their customers choices.

I have visited this restaurant several times for the last three years. Taste is getting worse together with quality of service. I would not like to recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Dishes were mediocre at best. In order to access the WiFi, you have to agree to receive marketing, including via sms! For that, I substract another star.

Staff should learn European manners but still I enjoy going there. Except for the occasion when Kim Holland was having diner there.

Had the vegetarian dumpling with peanuts mushroom and sweet corn, the vegetarian ravioli and the crispy chicken with chilli garlic and onion. The dumpling and dim sums were not that great, two reasons is one they were not fresh and taken out from the freezer and steamed, secondly all the vegetables were mashed in the filling. Ideally a good dim sum has small pieces of the vegetables. The crispy chicken was good, it was a dry preparation served with rice. The same can be seen in the photos. The jasmine tea served in a pot is only for one, but surely can be had by two for which I think they should serve two cups especially when the waiter knows that one is ordering a decent amount of food. Maybe we picked the wrong dishes but then the waiter could have advised us on something else.

The food is very nice make sure the waiters understand what you want to order.

Super good food at very affordable prices, You should not get a standard menu with bami/nasi but try multiple dim sums. You will not be disapointed.

Food is okay. The meat is decent. Sadly a bit pricey for the quality offered. The service however is just not very good. It is often slow even without the restaurant being understaffed. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to service.

Had a wonderful dinner with some colleagues here! We went mostly for the dim sum dishes! It was complicated choosing what to order because there were an abundance of choices. The dumplings and other dim sum dishes were good. The staff were quite cheerful as well!

We came to order take away, but they didnt have a wok option so we went to eat inside. Workers do speak Dutch and English so that isnt a problem. The menu card had over 170 options, there is probably something you will like. The portions are quite big for one person. The food presentation is well done and it taste good. The prices might be a bit higher than regular take away, but its worth.

I eat here very often and I still think its great!! Always tasty food made with fresh ingrediënts 🍜

Not the average Chinese restaurant in the Netherlands, different dishes, also vegetarian, modern interior. I go there for years and I am still happy.

Quality isnt what it used to be. I got the feeling everything was rushed, so not a place for long diners for me. Pricewise things are ok.

Its okay.. service could be a bit friendlier and Dim Sumnwas so so.. there are better options in chinatown for dim sum.Restaurant has a huge menu.. maybe lost focus a little.

Great dim sum and the main courses aren’t bad either. The service is a little slow sometimes, but the menu is extensive which mostly makes up for it. The prices aren’t cheap, but it isn’t a place that will break your wallet either. Parking can be an issue if it’s a busy day, since there are a lot of other stores around.

We ordered one of the two person menus - wow it was a lot of food! Four courses: soup, dim sum, mains, and dessert. All of it was tasty and well cooked.

Really great food and at a pretty decent price too. The staff are also really nice and there is almost always a table available without a wait. Even if it is busy the staff are always quick and dont leave you waiting at any stage.

Personally Im really not into Chinese cuisine but when i came here with my family, i was surprised that i actually like the food here. My favourite was the lemon chicken & sweet and sour prawn ! Not to mention the atmosphere there, its calming and the decor is stunning especially the lanterns. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Den Haag.

Walong is my go-to restaurant whenever Im in Den Haag. When I enter the restaurant, I feel welcomed by their friendly staff. Not to mention the presentation 👌 My favourite food there is the soy sauce and garlic prawns and the lemon chicken. I also enjoyed their desserts which are the sorbet and the black sesame ice-cream. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends including my favourite youtuber Oli White 💕 #oliwhite #jaspoli

If you want to get the best authentic Chinese food in Den Haag, then you will find it in Walong. The ambience and food complement each other in giving me the best experience. I like the originality and creative menu that the restaurant offers dishes from sweet sour delights to soya sauce elegance.I was on holiday in the Netherlands many years ago when I first found it but now it boasts a new interior with the staff still showing the same friendliness I remember. The food continues to be divine and as such, decided to have all my dinners in Walong over the past 4 days since last Friday.My only regret is not being able to try their Christmas menu which sounds delicious and value for money, specially prepared for Christmas and Boxing Day...Thumbs up to whole team in Walong!!!

Ive coming to this restaurant for 8 years. I loved to come here, Id do it at least 1 per month. The food was great, the service was quick and very friendly.But in the past months, the food quality isnt as good, but the service quality is much worse. It looks like theyre doing you a favour by bringing you the food.
