Gaho-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, South Korea, Koyang
Bustling tourist & cultural district known for its Chinese-owned restaurants & businesses.
Touristy place, good place to get chinese korea fusion food
Very unique place where you can feel like being in China in Korea. Good food and worth a visit. But very crowded and hard to find parking, public parking lot is so small it takes forever to park and get out.
Surprisingly clean. Not much open. Restaurant was only fair. I expected much better Chinese food.
Decent Chinatown loaded with restaurants and shops. Not as big as I would have guessed and there wasnt much of a vibe **I went during the Chuseok holiday, so I am sure that played a role.**
An interesting place to visit and see Chinatown in Korea. There are many buildings and artefacts look similar to China and Chinese. Plus come here to try their noodles, jajang noodles.
Just old place. u can see chineese based food shops and gift items shops.
its an ok place to stroll.. Not that much things to do just eat and shop
Great place to walk around and find Chinese food as well as some cafes. It is ideally situated right in front of the subway station so it is in a great position. There are also bus stops situated in that area.
Beautiful reminiscence of China before comunism.
A very beautiful place to visit. There is a unique combination of Korean culture with Chinese culture.
There is nothing to see here except Chinese food
Fun.....
If you like chinese food, there are some special menus but, you cant taste it at the same place.
Visit traditiinal Incheon Chinatown, and take a bus ride to Wolmi Island to come close to the ocean.
Good place with a good view
Taste is good but price is not perfect
Really pretty! Do not come at night since most stores close early. Best to do midday or evening.
Lovely place to visit for the day. Loads and I mean loads of food options. Some restaurants do carter to vegetarians and vegans.
Its a good place to visit! You can try Korean Chinese food here, take nice photos. The town has nice museums as well to learn about the history of Incheon port and its contemporary art.
The best place to search for Chinese Food and Culture. A lot of tasty foods, great prices, big portion. You will not regret it when you come here.
As someone who lived in China, the 3 times I have visited the place, I have never really felt it was a Chinatown. I have to admit I have never visited a Chinatown anywhere else. But neighborhoods like Kondae subway station are much more like the real China.Nevertheless, it is an interesting place to visit and try street food. Ou their special "white jajjangmyeon".
Very impressed by the cleanliness and how busy it was on a super cold day. I enjoyed walking around and trying different foods. One thing definitely stood out, because there was a very long line for this delicacy, its this dessert that was made right in front of us, see photos. Very delicious. See PicsCant wait to go back and try actual restaurants when its not as cold.
Incheon China town, not much more to say. Nice to walk around and has some great food.
Great way to spend the afternoon. It took about two hours driving from Camp Humphreys, mostly due to traffic. If you wanted to take the train the station is directly across the main entrance of Chinatown. Fun to wonder around and take pictures. Wouldnt necessarily recommend eating at a restaurant there. The area is setup for tourists so eating at a place theres expensive and overpriced, just look at the reviews. However do sample, and purchase all of the delicious baked goods. Be sure to sample and buy the puffed bread and filled cookies, youll see what Im talking about. Parking was easy, something new to see, and sampled some neat food. See you there!
I love it specially during Spring and Autumn 🍂 😍
This area is quite huge. Many roads, many aisles. But typical china town, it has a nice artistic view.
Lovely area to walk around
Wonderful and Beautiful. The Biggest China Town with Traditional Chinese Shop & Restaurant. Greatest at night with Chinese Lantern. But its hard to have a chance to try the Pecking Duck.
Great tourist area with beautiful buildings.
Beautiful shopping area and theme park! Every building looks like the China we see on TV. The place is so convenient, located close to line 1. Theres lots of CHINESE food and the Jjajangmeon around this area is so delicious. I went there in 2016 and would love to go there again!
good place to visit!!!try chinese foods here u wont regret!! had wonderful meal here!!!
well worth a visit.. numerous restaurants to eat and small item shops to browse thru.. quite nice! also a good walk up the hill for digestion after a good meal 👍
Beautiful vibrant colors. Make sure you have the energy to move up and down the hill
A good place to learn the history of South Korea, the influence of Japanese Colonial and the influence of Chinese culture. Take a walk up the hill . Beautiful and best in autumn.
Nice view...all Chinese restaurant items available...
This is really best spot if you want to feel the Chinese atmosphere in Korea. Moreover there is a park which is quite near to Chinatown , in there you can see the breathtaking views of the park and neighborhood...highly recommended
Takes 1.5 hours from Seoul Station. Come early, getting a place for lunch during weekend will be very challenging. All restaurants literally packed with people and expect to queue 15-20 mins.
Feels like a tourist trap with tons of vacant buildings and very little to really offer. There is a bathroom near the entrance but I didnt find the sights to be very interesting. Go to China to see true Chinese culture.
Not the Chinatown experience I was expecting. It’s like this was created for tourists. The authenticity came from the shop keepers themselves. There are churches, many restaurants, and lots of things to take photos with.Difficult to find trash cans.Public restrooms located by the museum. They were very clean with toilet paper, soap, and western toilets.
Its a fun place to visit. I prefer the pasteries in the bakeries on the top of the hill (its the same store but two locations). There are other bakeries but I didnt try them. The atmosphere is very lively. Plus theres lots of food. We found a dumpling shop with shrimp dumplings so we ate there. Chinatown is also right next to the Fairy Tale village so you have more places to go once youve seen everything you want to in Chinatown.
Real Chinese vibes. The place was fairly English friendly and it also showed a side of Korea. Their black bean noodle is excellent as well as sour and sweet fried pork. Would recommend coming here at morning but a promenade in a night with the lights is cool as well. Would recommend.
One of a good destination for weekend. It’s a Chinese Korean town in the true sense. One can enjoy authentic Chinese food like Kung Pao Chicken and delicious dumplings at various restaurants. But what sells the most is sugar syrup strawberry 😋It’s a nice place to enjoy some finger food while walking and clicking pictures.A lot of people do not visit Jayu Park, which sits right above Chinatown. It’s a great place to handout in the evening and get an Ariel view of Incheon port. I was fortunate enough to see the sunset from here. One can take subway or bus from most of the places in Incheon to reach this part of the town.Good weekend destination 👍
A very small Chinatown area in Incheon; its building fully designed like Chinese buildings in red. Theyre are plenty of restaurants here selling Chinese food and a popular food is Noodle with Bean Paste. Adjoining to this area is Songdong Fairytale Village that you can easily walk to from here.
Its so so beautiful. Th scenery full of red and yellow color with chinese music. That made me feel happy. Its seemed like I was really in China. We tried White jajangmyeon for lunch here and it was good. we will see some china souvenir shops, china street food and toys. I love it so much.China town is also next to the fairy tale village so dont forget to check those places if you visit Incheon.More photos and review at http://bit.ly/2r0d0cSReview chi tiết tại http://bit.ly/2Fz5nV2
Great place to spend the day if youre looking for something to do in Incheon. If youre into history take the hike to the top to see the US South Korea peace monument and General McArthur looking over the port of Incheon. Quite a few stairs to help with the guilt of eating the delicious food throughout Chinatown.
Went on a Monday around 5p, in August. No crowds and great weather. Took the subway; the entrance is just a few long strides away from the exit, where signs are clearly marked. Definitely recommend a visit if you have half a day to spend in Incheon.
This place is not a must be place. there are nothing so special about it. It has some nicele painted buildings shops. But there is park near by where you can take a walk.
We visited the part near the Fairy Tale Village and its nice. Here are some pictures:
If you want food tripping in Incheon, this is the place!! Authentic chinese delicacies are everywhere. Some food store may take you waiting in lane but dont worry, it will be worth it. Its like a little village with multiple streets. You will surey enjoy strolling and eating and sight-seeing. Though if you want to go shopping, its not the place to be.
Similar shops throughout the place. Interesting and good vibes but not entirely worth the trip if you are coming from Seoul. There is a 2000₩ 짜장면 place across 인천역 which is good.
