China Garden in Frauenfeld

Gorgeous and amazing piece of China in Switzerland. Loved going in and marvel at the pagodas they had. Saddly when I went they had a balcony being renovated, but we can have a peek at it while being renovated.

One of the must visit places when arriving to Zurich. The spacious lawns are very inviting for individuals and families and although the park can very crowded at times, yet it manages to keep harmony. Along the small harbors one can find secret rest areas whose steps are at the foot of the waves.

I loved the China garden! It was gifted to the city of Zürich and it is very well kept. The Kois are adorable and the surrounding plants/ architecture is fun to explore. Its a must visit when going to Zürich horn since entrance is free of charge!

Interesting diversion and only takes about a half hour to view. A bit underwhelming after visiting the Huntington Chinese garden in Pasadena and the Sun Yat Sen garden in Vancouver. However the water feature and shade trees provide a serene setting away from the commerce of Zurich.

Free entrance to the Garden. Calm and tranquil. You’ll find beautiful fishes in the lake.

We arrived after 18:00, the entrance was free. Really kind guard welcomed us. Small but really pretty garden with a pund of koi fish. Atmosphere was really exotic. Thank you

China garden is a special and very beautiful place, it is very small but very cozy and you can take wonderful photos. I recommend you visit it.<3

The garden is free of charge and parkings are not too far. The garden is beautiful but very small.

If you were around the area and entrance was free, you may pass-by. I wouldnt pay to get in. The place is too small and theres little to see

A small and charming garden to walk, sit and relax or maybe take some photos. The entry is free of charge which makes it a great option for the budget travelers. But there aren’t much things to do there!

Its a simple grass lawn with some swings and activities for small kids.....so that kids can barbecue while the kids play around.Its right on lake Zurich so you can take a dip If the temperatures are soaring high.A cool place to hang out on a lazy afternoon with family and friends.

It is very cleanup kept. Garden in itself is small but inside it is beautiful and photogenic. I would recommend this to anyone who are not visiting the city in hurry.

We always love to stroll in this small garden close to the lake. It is calm, beautiful and you can rest for a while before continuing your visit to Zurich. Architecture-landscaping is adequate to the place and follows what you expect from this type of gardens ,(stones, water, vegetation and fishesOne extra plus: it is free!!

Well this park really aint special. Very small - well kept although the water was dirty. I didnt enjoyed my stay there. There should be some extra things added but a huge plus that entrance is free or it was when I was there :)

Very pretty. Also it is free so that is nice. It is pretty small and there’s not so much to do besides walk around for a few minutes. But again since it doesn’t cost anything it’s an okay place to spend around 20 minutes

Beautiful far East oasis in the middle of Zürich. Currently no entrance fee. Take a peak!

During the day its quite nice as a hang out spot and the lake is super clean. At night it may get a little rowdy and crowded and people might grill but its still an enjoyable atmosphere.

This is a gorgeous little garden which is Free to enter. Nice to get off our feet, sit down in the shade, and enjoy the view of the garden.

Beautiful garden. Well worth a visit. Some lovely photo spots for those who care about such things. Looking lovely in July 22, with the falling tree seeds (?creating a lovely atmosphere.

Free to go and a beautiful little gem next to the lake. They have a takeaway food shop attached to it with simple Chinese dishes which completes it. You feel transported for a few minutes, worth the visit if youre in the area.

A beautiful unexpected spot in the centre of Zurich

A small garden with bamboo and some other trees and an artificial water body. Do not expect much. It is close to Zurich lake. A large garden in front. One can relax. walk along the lake.Entry is free. Entry time 1100 hrs. Check the time online. It might change due to winter and summer.

Beautiful garden in Zurich and its completely free. Amazing colors, the plants, flowers, ponds, fishes everything was so attractive.The person at the reception was so humble, he gave complete information about the garden. A really amazing place for short trip specially for family with kids, good location, easy accessible by public transport, around 15 minutes by Tram 🚃 from Zurich HBF, entry is free and nice view , also a wonderful hotspot for photo shooting.

If you like Chinese Arhitecture definitely worth stopping by. Good recreational spot for kids. Toilette 🚻 few steps away.

Less recommended to visit during wintertime. This show garden named Chinese Garden is a chinese garden on the lakeside of Zürich. It is a gift from Zürichs Chinese partner town Kunming, dedicated to the Three Friends of Winter: pine, bamboo and plum blossom. It may get a bit crowded compared to its surface. It’s advisable to check peak hours beforehand to avoid them.

The garden is free of charge. Parking is a few steps away. Beautiful way to spend a weekend afternoon with your family and friends. Kids will definitely enjoy it too.

Beautiful park in Seefeld. Visited finally after 2 yrs in Zurich and I can say its worth it! Reminded me of my travels to HK. Very similar of not original attractions!

Clean and nice looking Chinese garden. Wouldnt recommend going during winter though. As it was my first time visiting, I was a bit disappointed on its size as I read its a large garden. But definitely worth a stop while in Zürich.

Entrance was free when we went late Oct.It was beautiful and well laid out. Perfect spot right by the lake inside Zurichhorn.

Fantastic and colorful China style walled in garden with trees, gazebos, lakes, bridges, and walkways. We visited on a sunny fall day with stunning fall colors. Best of all, the entrance is free.

I’m Chinese and I really like the garden! It’s well designed, full of nice details and the traditional atmosphere. I felt like in China and peaceful when I walked in it. I heard it’s a gift from the Chinese city Kunming to Zurich to thank the assistance of Zurich.

A small, beautifully located Chinese garden by Lake Zurich, some interesting elements and large fish swimming in the pond. Its definitely worth a look here.
