The food is made fresh when you order. I eat here three times per week if I’m working in the area. They treat me like a friend of the family.

Great place for a Chinese craving, always fast and reliable. Shrimp lomein noodles spicy is what I recommend.

Always a great experience even when we screwed up the on line food order and they were all to happy to make it right!!

Been eating here for a while and I wanted to hop on here and show my appreciation for this place! Great food for a reasonable price! Also dope customer service! I was in there today and they had a very difficult customer who didn’t understanding the price increase due to what’s going on economically. He handle the customer with great service even while the guy was cussing and talking loudly he kept calm and sorted out the issue the best way he could. Love this place and love the food thank you for your service!

I work right by China Bowl and I love coming here to get lunch. Their sesame chicken is my favorite and the staff is always very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves good Chinese food.

Honestly I don’t know how there still open, the food is nasty, very nasty. I tried it twice thinking maybe the 1st time something went wrong but to my surprise it was still nasty!! 😂!! No but truthfully it’s disgusting

First time ever ordering from there. Got the chicken and broccoli dinner combo. I got like 5 pieces of chicken and broccoli. Very disappointing. Same with my husband. He got sesame chicken and got 6 pieces of chicken. Dumplings werent great. Egg rolls werent great. Wonton were pretty good. And the best part was the donuts (kinda sad). Will not be going back.

Fantastic food! The best I’ve had in a long time.

My shrimp egg foo young didn’t have any shrimp in there. Our beef broccoli had 4 pieces of dried salty beef which my daughter refused to eat. The owner Erik was nice enough to give me full credit or a replacement meal which is very unusual for an Asian place of business. I know business are hurting and I want to support local businesses. I’m willing to give it another chance.

Food was horrible. Not sustainable for human. I oreseed house lo mein and beef fried rice and fed it to my 2 dogs.

The best Restaurant in Brooklyn park so far to me when it comes to authentic and traditional seasoning as well and price is very reasonable too lastly they don’t take long with your order. 👏🏾👏🏾

First time trying China Bowl, not sure Ill try it again. Egg drop soup was very bland. It really had no flavor even though there were carrots and peas in it? There was barely any chicken in my chicken chow mein, and while I ordered an extra side of white rice (chow mein says it comes with white rice and crunchy noodlesI did not receive it. Chow mein was flavorful, but I was just expecting more chicken in my chicken chow mein... Might give it a second chance, but if the result is the same, Im going elsewhere.

The food is amazing, friendly staff and it’s affordable. Ever since I first tried, kept coming back. Love it!!

We got carryout dinner on Saturday. The order was freshly made and came out pretty quick (15 min). Our appetizer was not in the bag but was quickly provided after I mentioned it.We got:- Cream Cheese Wonton (Nice and crispy, could have maybe used a little more cream cheese)- French Fries (Suprisingly good)- Seafood Egg Drop Soup (Very good)- Chicken Lo Mein (Little bland but fine)- General Chicken (Good but not spicy like expected)- Kung Pao Chicken (Good but not spicy)The portions are very generous and the Chicken fried rice is very good and has legit bites of chicken. The fried egg rolls are good too but I was drenching them in sweet & sour sauce. All in all no complaints, we will be back and looking forward to trying out other dishes.

Great place for some quick Chinese food. Their lunch specials cant be beat. The cream cheese puffs are a little meh, too much crunch compared to Leann Chin and other local mom and pop asian restaurants (Sweet Basil off Zane). Potstickers are a must have from China Bowl if you love appetizers.

I have been here a few times, and everytime I enjoy coming here. Not only are the staff friendly, but the food is made fresh as well. When I do take-out I never have wait too long for my food. Both the egg foo young, and orange chicken is just enough for satisfying meal. They are truly worth a another stop again sometime.

Very good food and service. Always an easy to order experience and the food is always very tasty. I especially recommend the sesame chicken combo meal with fried rice. Overall a great Chinese restaurant and my personal go-to.

Fried rice and egg rolls are delicious. The fried rice has chunks of chicken in it! The entrees arent that great though.

Giving 3 stars because it was made quick and hot. I ordered from China Bowl because my usual place is currently closed. I got the sweet & sour chicken w/ pork fried rice (without vegetablesand cream cheese won-tons. The chicken was alright but a little too breaded and you could definitely taste the salt. The fried rice is O.K. but Ive never had it taste like someone poured sugar on top it and mixed it with old oil. The won-tons tasted like onions (not sure if they are supposed, Ive never had them). Overall not impressed but they did make my order accurate and fast. Hopefully Xin-Xin opens back up soon.

The food was delicious. The problem was that the online delivery order told us 40 minutes. It was over an hour later when I called to check on our order. It was 25 minutes after that that my boyfriend called me to get it from the wing door. The delivery directions included the right phone number to call and the right door to go to. None of the directions were followed. I will not order delivery from here again. I might pick up, though.

Terrible! My chow Mein was spicy I couldnt even eat it. The fried rice was plain and pork burned. I used to enjoy the food from here but they must have changed owners or a different cook. Save your money.

Stopped by on a whim while driving across town and were very impressed by the quality of the food! Everything we got was excellent and the service was super quick. Highly recommend the chow mein. We will for sure be returning!

Ive been ordering from here for 3 years now, I initially started here because they deliver and have easy online ordering. Their food was always ok not super great but good and worth the money. Its been a year since I ordered and just ordered and the food was AMAZING! Their lo mein is fantastic!! I got the tofu and flavor is THE BEST! My other favorite is shrimp hunan, large butterflied shrimp and the sauce delicious! My husband got the Mongolian beef with extra meat, flavor was really good he said but it was just meat and onions no other veggies. I dont know if thats normal. Delivery takes a while, I was told 35-45 minutes and it was an hour, not a huge deal but dont order if youre starving lol

This place is very nice! My boyfriend and I come here very often, and we always love the food. Very good portions especially for the cheap price! The owner is very friendly every time we go in there and knows our order now. Definitely recommend.

One star is too many! We used to go there regularly but have had terrible service for the last 18+ months. We typically call to order and are typically told 15 minutes but when we go to pick up they havent even started making it. Today we gave them one last chance. Went to pick up and they didnt even have our order. The person who answers the phone is not on site, she doesnt know how busy they are and today the order was not submitted to the cook. I dont know if on line ordering is better but I shouldnt have to pay for for that service because your too incompetent to take a phone call. Its not worth the risk ever again. We will drive past to go to sweet basil going forward.

Food was too plain, had no flavor. Veggies were soggy. Extra meat isnt worth it, either that or they forgot to add extra meat even though I paid for it. Delivery, they forgot my rice. Will not be returning.

Vegetables all were uncooked in my subgum chow mein very crunchy. Egg rolls where double-wrapped and the cabbage inside was uncooked chicken didnt taste like chicken never again will I order from this place.

Ordered for the first time tonight. Was pretty excited they had pad thai on their menu, and it was delicious. the guy working was very nice. All in all I had a wonderful experience and will be going back. Also, they have the BEST fried rice

We tried china bowl because you can order online, which we tend to appreciate for its ease of use. The first night they forgot to deliver our food until we called after over an hour waiting. After another half hour the food was delivered but the orange chicken was obviously reheated by pouring extra sauce on it causing it to be super soggy and literally drowning in it. However, the flavor is there. The lo mein is tasty and the orange sauce was nice and tangy. We thought we would try again during an afternoon on a weekday so as to avoid any busy times. Ordered at 2:30pm on a Monday and it took over an hour to be delivered (we are a 9 minute drive awayand this time they got the order incorrect. Called them up and they said they would bring the missing entree later today after “maybe another hour.” We actually got the entree delivered while I’m writing this and within 30ish minutes of calling them.I want to like this place because the flavor is good but they have the most inconsistent delivery of any restaurant we’ve ever ordered from so far. Maybe order take out in store instead and make sure everything is good to go before leaving to make up for these weird delivery issues. Everyone has been apologetic and friendly which I appreciate as well.TL:DRTasty food, friendly staff, weird delivery issues.

Recently tried China Bowl again after thinking it was just OK last time. We ordered a ton of food for a small birthday party and everyone raved about how great the food was. Everything was good, no mistakes and thus through in an extra item because of our large order.

This is not fried rice. Like I pay my money for what I want and I asked for fried rice not white rice.

Made an online order at 5:15PM and called to check the order status at 6:30. I was told they would be another 15 minutes with our food. I finally called again at a couple minutes past 7. I was then told they had not even started on our order and it would be at least another 15 minutes. We have been frequent customers, but after this experience we will be taking our business elsewhere. It’s obvious they do not appreciate their delivery business and prioritize pick up orders. If I would have gone into the store there is no way my wait for food would have been 2 hours.

Food was warm and done quickly, however I was disappointed in it. Ordered the chicken pinapple fried rice and it was just that..chicken, pinapple, and rice. No vegetables. So it was very plain. Same for chicken curry.

Not sure what has happened in the last year, but no matter how early I order, the wait is insanely long. Over 1.5 hours this time. Its the weekend, be prepared to be busy. Lying when I called to inquire about my order is unnecessary. Telling me, "he already left" as if Im an idiot is not a good idea. He showed up 30+ plus minutes after the second time I called. Also, the orange chicken isnt cooked the same and the egg rolls have entirely too much five spice. Im sad to say that we are no longer customers. Nice people, but I am not a fan of waiting almost two hours for delivery and inconsistent food.

Lunch was ruined. Ordered ahead before going on lunch and was looking forward to some delicous Chinese food. After arriving back at work I began by eating the egg roll. Looked extremely dry and was warm at best. Ate it and couldnt tell what it was, tasted nothing like an egg roll. Chicken friend rice had plenty of chicken, which I like - however chicken was extremely dry. My main order, the orange chicken was simply chicken - dried out chicken at best, with the bottom really soggy. A little bit of sauce was on the bottom of the tray, but the chicken itself wasnt glazed as normal. Overall all others in my party had a terrible experience and similar quality issues. Will never return here again.

Wonderful Suprise! After getting my nails done yesterday I thought Id try this restaurant.... I ordered Pork Mei Fun, Chicken Fried Rice, Beef with Green Pepper & Chicken Noodle Soup to take home.... It was ALL wonderful! I am not a fan of the type of noodles used in the soup; however, the broth was flavorful and there were REAL vegetables in the soup as well... The rest was awesome, better than I expected! I am saddened by the few nasty reviews Ive read on here as their portions are standard and the flavor, freshness and varying tastes were evident! This is a small business, not some major conglomerate and while I think negatives should be reported, give the business a chance to rectify it before blasting a hard working group! I will be back and everyone in my household is going to consider this less than 3 miles from our home gem. Either way every 2 weeks I will be making an order, as soon as I am done at Golden Nails & Salon! Kudos to the Chef at China Bowl! We will be back!

I am picky when it comes to chinese food and have often heard great things about bigger restaurants, but I have to say this is one of my favorites. The food is fabulous! The place is very small and I would not recommend dining in the building, but it is so great for take out and so easy to order, either in person or online. I would recommend this place to anyone and sometimes even over what others have recommended.

Had the Sesame Chicken, Chick Wild Rice, Chick Lo Mein, Cream cheese Won-tons and Spring rolls. Lo Mein noodles were surprisingly good & substantial- not the stringy cup o soup type noodles most everyone else seems to use.Everything was delicious and generous, but did not care for the lettuce wraps disguised as spring rolls. They were just shredded lettuce. Shrimp was included along the sides of the rolls, but all was without any flavor and very cold. Although given that they were only lettuce, I would not have wanted warm. Have had Spring Rolls at other places where they are very similar to an egg/veggie roll. Will not order these again here. Prices are OK, though for what I ordered was pricey when delivery & 15% tip was included. If I am in the mood for Chinese food again, will probably order from China Bowl, sans the spring rolls.

Stopped by with my family on a bike ride. Service was very fast, we only had to wait for about 5 minutes before we got our food. The servings were very big for the price we payed and the man working there was very kind, he allowed us to bring a table outside and eat there. Very good food if you happen to be in the area.

I Love This Place. The food is delivered quickly, the prices are affordable and they have great customer service. I have eaten shrimp lo mien, fried rice, chicken egg foo young, egg rolls, wantons and it is all delicious! The food is always hot and did I mention it was tasty?

Pretty good. The fried rice taste authetic and their appetizers are really good. Ever since my favorite Chinese restaurant shut down this has been a good alternative . Theyre really clean havent found a piece of hair or anything disgusting. 👍

I ordered my favorite Chinese dish, Kung Pao Chicken. It wasnt spicy, had mushrooms and no peanuts. Also they charge a fee for placing your pickup order online.

Ive only ordered delivery from here, never dined in.Prices and portions are good. Delivery is as quick as they say. Dont eat here expecting 100% authentic Chinese. Nonetheless the food is delicious.

By far one of the best take outs in the cities! The fried rice is absolutely amazing. If you like sweet cheese wong tons they have the best that I have ever had! The delivery is prompt as well.

OVERPRICED AND SKIMPY PORTIONS. 10 bucks just for fried rice? Also, instead of normal serving containers that we are all used to for Chinese takeout, they use smaller sized containers and still charge same price like other places. Not the greatest food anyway....plenty of other places in the area.

I always go during the evenings and the guy there has good customer service. Fried dumplings are excellent. The other food tastes pretty good. I will order from them again.
