Chilli Chutney in Brandon

Butter chicken was just plastic cubes of chicken ! And The other items on the menu was fairly good. We travelled from winnipeg to try the food its not worth the hype

Food was fresh and hot. We are from Vancouver so found it very mild. The choices were excellent, chicken 3 or 4 ways, great rice fresh naan, way less costly then ordering 3 dishes compared to a choice of maybe 20. Theres also an ice cream cooler.

Always delicious! Shahi paneer, butter chicken and lamb curry. My taste buds are happy.

I would have to say this is my fav restaurant in Brandon. Always so flavourful and such friendly staff.

Arrived at 6:30pm and was looking forward to a delicious dinner. My parents ordered off the menu, while I explored the buffet. Sadly the buffet featured many items that were overcooked, dried, or inedible. The shrimp was awesome. The butter chicken dry. The onion pakora was so dried-out it was impossible to chew. Same with the Potato Pakora. Staff were kind and attentive. Both of my parents menu ordered items were excellent. I do NOT recommend the buffet.

Yummy foods. My kids love garlic naan and butter chicken here. All foods are really tasty here and got large selection with the menu. It gets better with friendly and pleasant staff. Highly recommend this place.

Interior is good, however Food is really awful. Their appetizers are good. However don’t ever try their paneer dosa, chilli mushroom and mango mock tail. It’s waste of money. Food is not worth the money . Not recommend at all. Their staff is always confused . First person comes ask how did we like the food. We tell them what we didn’t like . Second person comes asks the same thing. Third person comes asks the same thing . Needs better management and food. Right now it’s only running because there is no other competition. Otherwise they won’t have survived till now .

They alway make sure you have the most delicious food! I love trying all the different items they have available. There is something for everyone with special eating requirements!

Worst experience I have ever had. I bought Dessert item, they didn’t give weight infront of me. 1st I asked for 1pound Balushahi, they gave 4 piece, so I told them to give me 1/2pound more, they took $5 dollar and just give me 1 piece for that. (When I came home and opened the box I was shocked)And It can’t be 1/2pound for 1 Balushahi.

Panir was Frozen in Panir Lawabdarnot happy with the dish and money which i spent for 2 dishes of panir lawbdar the chunks are frozen frm inside and very hard to chew.

Food was not pure indian, I believe. More like indo-chinese. It was buffet time, so lots of options. The rice pulao had hard parts in it, which would say some of it was old. The staff was great. They offered free naan too. The washroom was clean. Price was reasonable. Would give it a second shot if I get the chance.

I love ordering the Chicken Curry. Its delicious and the portion is so large I usually have leftovers to enjoy the next day. The staff are always friendly. I love it so much I order almost every week :)

My favourite restaurant in Brandon ❤️ the service never disappoints, the dinner buffet is always varied - a great way to try new things! Takeout is also consistently high quality - ordering directly through the Chilli Chutney app is highly recommended!

This place is pretty good. The buffet has lots of choices if youre unsure what to get.The butter chicken tastes like it uses tomato soup as the base which is alright by me.

I ordered the lamb curry spicy and OMG it was sooooo delicious!!! I luv anything spicy and this dish was on point!!! My husband got the buffet but didn’t feel good after;( he felt bloated and had an upset stomach unfortunately!! But I would come back definitely for the lamb dish!!

This is our go to take out spot. Food is always excellent quality and they don’t skimp on the serving size. Definitely great bang for your buck. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. A reliable experience every time.

Butter chicken is 10/10. Same with garlic naan. Im not super adventurous with new things obviously but it looked like they had a buffet and that would be fun to try. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Would recommend.

We tried it on our trip to Brandon. Delish food. We tried the dal Makhni & Mutton curry with basmati rice, good flavours and spice level.Reason I gave 4 stars was we ordered an hour ago for pickup and still had to go wait there 10 mins or more to get the food. Timing could be more efficient. Also, dal portion could be better for the price.

Excellent service & vegan options. They double checked about one of the breads being vegan & it was without the butter! The Manchurian balls were so good & we loved the lychee cranberry mocktail. If youre in Brandon and love Indian food you have to dine here :)

Food is good and tasty. Portions in restaurant are quite good for the price. Take out however was disappointing and expensive for the amount we got. Spent $40 on 2 dishes thinking it would feed 2 people and it was enough for one and maybe a little extra. One dish, we got enough chicken that would make up 1 chicken breast and it was $17.Wont be ordering take out from here again. If we eat here again it will have to be dine in.Our go to Indian food restaurant in Winnipeg gives twice the portion size for take out for the same price.

Delicious authentic food in Branron! The appetizers were just alright, but the main food was on point. Loved their butter chicken and chicken karahi. They do have halal meat as well for an additional cost.

Service was excellent by Dhairya. Food was very delicious and tempting. According to me it is one of the Best east India restaurant in whole Manitoba. Kudos to chef Itveer and chef jagat . Keep up the good work . I really enjoyed my day and will come again and again suggest all to visit them for the delicious food.

If you like Indian food, this is the place to try. I usually order off menu, but there is a great buffet too. You can order anything spiced according to your tolerance level, I never had a bad meal at chili chutney.

The portion size for what you pay for is a total rip off. Being one of not many Indian places in brandon I guess gives them the freedom to price as such? The food is amazing but it all comes down to the 1 cup of butter chicken for 18$....the free rice is bigger.....

I travel to Brandon every month. I havent missed it yet. I always use buffet menu. Everything is perfect and tasty. The sraff are also very polite and approachable

Food is delicious, prairie people: you are lucky to eat this good outside a big city! For take out, the portions are pretty big (get a meal for 3- a couple can eat for two days). Owners are really nice people.

Ive eaten here a few times before (pre covid), mainly the buffet, and the food was great. However, my last/only experience ordering through Skip the Dishes didnt arrive but I was refunded through Skip so that wasnt an issue. The issue is how they abuse your email address and your phone number later on. They are now spamming my phone number and email address (no idea how they got them, I guess through Skip?asking for a review. With how many junk emails we get daily nowadays its just not even worth eating here if this is what is going to happen to customers. Ive asked them to stop but nope, they just continue.

My family has been enjoying the wonderfully authentic cuisine at Chilly Chutney since they had their restaurant on Rosser. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is incredible. We love that we can get a colour and delicious array of vegetarian food cooked to perfection. The buffet has something for everyone and when ordering off the menu you can specify your spice preference. Our personal favourites are dal makhani, bindi masala and sag paneer. Don’t miss out! Any time Ive been there, Ive always enjoyed an excellent meal. Love the buffet with the great variety and flavours to enjoy. Ive also ordered delivery when Im craving East Indian cuisine. Delicious.

I absolutely love Chili Chutney. Every time we decide to dine-in, the experience is perfect, the service is top notch and the food is amazing. Covid gave us no choice but to order out and we thought that the portions could be made a bit bigger but that doesn’t change the quality, I love their food and I recommend the butter chicken, chicken vindaloo and the garlic naan bread.

We had the buffet. So many good selections. Service was great and there was a good vibe. Music playing in the background, great smells. Love it.

Here on a business trip. Place was amazing. Lovely interior and nice table settings. The food was the best Indian food I’ve eaten and you have to try the mozzarella Naan.

Visiting Brandon for work and a friend recommended this place. Picked up the take out buffet (they provide a take away tray and you pick what you want). Not sure if it is because I havent had Indian food in awhile but it was absolutely fantastic! Especially the butter chicken and veggie korma, amazing flavours! This meal also comes with naan and a drink. The naan was fresh made when I ordered and delicious! Definitely worth the stop to try!

I normally love it but ,the last time I ordered, the chicken wasn’t properly cleaned. I ended up pulling feather fibres out of my teeth. I wasn’t able to eat anymore and haven’t had the appetite to order it again.

Had a dinner buffet and food was not good and was not worth for what we paid.Greeting and smiling is important for any business which is missing here.Went all the way from Winnipeg but disappointed with the quality of food.Please make sure to have enough tissues and water on the table.

We stopped by Brandon on our way to Winnipeg and found this authentic Indian restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. I specially loved chaat papri and the prawn curry. The chicken biryani is great for sharing.

I have always liked butter chicken here but yesterday was a disappointment. The chicken was so dry and burnt. It’s clearly that they used left over chicken from their chicken skewers dish. I can see the mark from the skewers in the chicken. The burnt part was the worst. It was bitter and chewy. Not the quality I expected from a restaurant, to be honest. I also got the chicken tandoori and paneer. It was alright…

Very tasty East Indian cuisine. The butter chicken and the curried mushrooms were particularly tasty. We had the lunch buffet and although they have more items available for dinner, there were ample dishes from which to choose. They didnt offer their vegetable korma, which is one of my favourites. The price at $14.50 was reasonable. Decor is pleasant and the friendly waitress was as efficient and as fast as usual with drink refills. We have been here many times, and it is hands-down my favourite restaurant in Brandon.

This is the only Indian 🇮🇳 restaurant in Brandon, MB. Food is good, and everybody seems to like it. As I come from Bangladesh, I don’t find their spices strong enough to be Indian food. However, this is the best Indian food you’ll find in Westman. Perfect for you if you are from North America or Europe.They have lunch and supper buffet on affordable price compared to other restaurant in Brandon. I often go there for buffet on various occasions. My favourite dish is naan bread and lamb curry.Their dine in space is fancy. Great for date and family gatherings!
