Nice place, but the food comes in to small portions and is not really special

Great little pub that is run by some awesome guys.We were lucky enough to get invited for a special guitar gig inside and definitely had some great fun! :)

The place is nice to sit and service was nice. But food is not good and really overpriced for what you get. Go there for drinks but eating cannot be recommended (we had Pizza, a local salad, a local soup, fries, strange tacos)

Great food and a nice atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating and the staff were all pleasant and attentive.

My group really enjoyed our dinner here. Prices were pretty reasonable for a tourist place, and the food was great. I dont think Ive had better apple pie in SE Asia.

I visited this place during my time traveling here through Semester at Sea. I know it seems small, but I have so many great memories of Myanmar, and honestly, hanging out here with friends were some of the best nights. The food is amazing, and surprisingly reminiscent of home (Southern California). If ever get the privilege of coming back to Nyaung Schwe, I will 100% be going back to Chillax Bistro!

Great service, very fast and friendly staff. I had a beef burguer and it was very nice, with home made bread.

The environment is pretty nice, but the food was all around pretty bad. I got the veggie curry with rice which was bland, my friend got the chicken burger which was dry. Not sure why this place is getting good reviews as its pretty inauthentic, westernised, the food is bad and its expensive (around 10000 kyat for a meal and drink). Only redeeming factor is the staff who were polite, and also they seem quite environmentally inclined, opting for no plastic and only non landfill bottles. But overall I wouldnt recommend this place mainly due to the food quality which simply isnt up to par.

Peaceful, good food (we had tea in our own pots and vegetable stir fry with steamed rice), attentive servers, clean restroom.

We just had a quiet drink here in the heat of the day. Its off the beaten track, away from the boats, and had a nice cooling breeze today. So very relaxing!!

Good place if you are in the look of some western food

I appreciate what they are trying to do. A Mexican restaurant in Myanmar. Ambitious. For anyone steeped in Mexican food, it is going to be... interesting at best. The avocado you get has nothing on the quality and taste of SoCal avocados. Nevertheless, they make a good effort and they do have some good cocktails. The Burmese Sling is excellent. Better than a Singapore Sling in my opinion, but then again, I love ginger.

Really good cappuccino and tea. The avocado salad was really fresh. The service is really attentive. No WiFi was available when we were there, unfortunately. It’s a little pricey but good quality.

Exactly what we needed after we arrived to Inle. Good food, great drinks, and reasonable prices.

I lovely place to relax in the afternoon, free WiFi is available. The prices are expensive compared to local places selling local food, but if you are longing for some western food, this place has potato skins, fries, burgers, pizza, pasta and cocktails.

Its a nice restaurant and the staff is very friendly. It feels kind of wrong eating what i did when i Myanmar but the restaurant is a nice choise if you are had enough noodles and currys. I had a juicy burger (it was juicyand a fruit pancake which were both good.

Love this place! Best coffee in town, hands down. They serve a local specialty coffee you cant find anywhere else. Make sure to buy and bag while you are there! Absolutely worth the trip!

Amazing place!! Best coffee in Myanmar!I cannot rave enough about Chillax. Great western food, but the thing that put them above the rest was their specialty coffee, Behind the Leaf Coffee. It is locally grown and processed by the PaO people, less than 2 hours away from Nyaungshwe. Their espresso is sweet with some fruity notes, nothing like anything Ive ever tasted. They also sell their medium roast coffee and I have to say it blew me away. Amazing fruit taste with the perfect acidity! The best pour-over Ive ever made.

One of the few places that had WiFi, but worked extremely slowly. Had a mixed fruit juice, it was OK, 2000 kyat + 5% tax, a bit pricy compared to the average. Nice interior decoration, terrace with fan. Friendly and attentive owner.

The best restaurant I went to while I was in inle lake,the pizza was really good.of course you are paying a bit more than any other place but its worth it. Pizza and beer only 12000 kyats,not bad... Great atmosphere and music too.

Ok western food but a bit pricey, dont think the chicken burger agreed with me but my buddys beef burger worked out well.

Highly recommended for anyone here!! Great juicy burgers and thin crust pizza... if you are not keen in bottle beers, they serve wine and nice tea by pot... no doubt opening hours till 9pm, but they stretches till the last customer... kudos!! Note: Every Dollars or Kyats are worth here!!!

The best yogurt in town (if not in the hole country)! Here you get the best coffee as well. The place has good food and a chill atmosphere. This is definitely a place you want to return to.

We had recently been to a similar restaurant, a grill, on the main road. While the other place was nice, it was also noisy and small. The Chillax Bistro has a fantastic atmosphere, even if the name is a bit naff. The attention to detail with the food, in quality, taste and presentation rivals that of Myanmar fine dining restaurants we have been to in our travels but at significantly less cost. The burgers are the best in Myanmar bar none. Only down side was they were out of red wine the evening we dined, a shipment due the next day apparently.

Ambiance was great! Very good music, super great wifi, and the food and coffee were delicious!

The bistro has great outdoor seating where you can enjoy some great Myanmar coffee. If you need to do any work then this is the place since it has the best wifi so far in Myanmar.I would recommend the guacamole as its super fresh and you get a generous amount.

Its nice place to stay here to have lunch or afternoon tea. I really enjoy to relax here with soft English songs. Food is delicious with reasonable price (in this area).

Nice place to drink cocktails (2.000 - 4.000 kyats)I recommend the White Tanakah and the Ginger Margarita.

Decent place for western eats like Pizza and Burgers. Also their ice cream is good value on a warm day.
