Chili House & Lee's in An Najaf

Came in today (Tuesday Oct 11th approx 420?)..got a Togo order of chicken fried rice, cheese wontons and a shot of crown. Was enough food for 3 meals and was only 26$! The young lady who helped me was super nice and welcoming..food was in my hand in less than 15 min..super delicious!!!! Came with all the sauces you would expect, packaged well, and was still warm an hour later when I got home. Definitely beats fast food on way home. Love this place!

We ordered delivery for 3 dishes with very distinct savory descriptions; one basil, one garlic, and one of their Mongolian dishes. All 3 dishes came with the exact same sweet and sour sauce and was gross, especially considering none of us care for sweet foods. Will not be ordering again.

I do not recommend the curry. Ordered green curry and what I got was not the curry I’m used to. It tasted like salty sunflower seeds and looked like plain chicken broth with veggies. I’ve ordered fried rice from here that wasn’t bad but the quality of the curry makes me not want to come back.

I am 35 years old and thought I didnt like Asian food. Tell I found this place! Extra spicy jungle chicken curry! I wish I could dround in a tub of it. So good! Kids love the orange chicken as well. Anyone who eats here will never want any other Asian joint.

I was trying to order Chili House online for pickup today and their website doesnt exist anymore. They must have taken it down to save money. Now the only way to order is through a 3rd party website and the prices have skyrocketed. Before Covid, you could get a lunch "special" for $8-$9. Now there is nothing for under $12. Thats not very special if you ask me. I decided to give it one last shot anyway and man do I regret that. The combo lo mein states clearly that it doesnt come with rice. One would assume that to be true, since its now $14. Picked up my food, got home and its more than half white rice. I called to complain and they just said, "Yeah, it come with half whit rice." Uhhhh...every 3rd party website you use since closing your website says "Only noodles. No rice". What a joke and a complete ripoff. I can make white rice at home for 5 pennies and I guarantee it will taste better.I used to love this place, but the portions are small and with the increased prices and deceiving menu descriptions, I wont be going back. Sad to see you decided to use the pandemic to rip off customers. Adios, Chili House. It was fun while it lasted.

I order deliveries frequently and the food always fresh, well presented, and tastes amazing. Everytime is fast and consistent, thank you!

Delicious dinner with my husband! We ordered general tso (yum!and beef bulgogi (not authentic but really delicious!!). We definitely will come back!

Really good. Dinner special was worth it. Hot and sour soup was superb. Food was fresh and hot, crispy meat and flavorful sauce. Not upscale but at least a giant Chinese dish worth the price. Will be returning!

Chili a house used to be one of the best. But I got some takeout recently, and my GF and I were shocked by how bad it was. Dry, overcooked, bland…ugh. Their rep is a thing of the past I guess. Terrible shame.

Havent been here in a long time but still great friendly staff and the food is amazing. Not to pricey and you get a lot of tasty food for a low price.

The dumpling and Vietnamese egg rolls were fantastic. I ordered red chicken curry and there was no real curry flavor to it. I wasnt specifically wanting more spicy flavor, but the server brought me some hot oil sauce to put on it. That did help. I may be confusing Indian style curry with Thai curry, but I really didnt taste the curry seasoning. I did, however, get plenty full! It wasnt bad at all, just not what I was expecting. The service was great!

The "Worst" egg-drop soup ever cooked from this Chili House!It tastes so bland with "NO" flavor whatsoever! If you like regular bland hot water, corn starch and just eggs as in egg-drop soup, then by all mean buy it! we threw ours down the drain! We called and they said "Yes, thats how our egg-drop is made, no flavor, only 3 ingredients"! What? she even said thats how we make it here, "bland no flavor"! its more like "CrapSoup" to me!

We went for dinner, Saturday night. Not busy at all. The dining area was uncomfortablely hot, as if AC was out. Service was very slow. Realized as we were leaving that our waiter seemed to be working solo. The sesame chicken appeared to be recooked, with extra sauce to cover it. Prices also went up too much. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE!

Ordered dinner for the family, ordered the green chicken curry. Looked like gravy with some veggies in it. Tasted it and the amount of salt in it burned my mouth. Tasted nothing like a green curry. Kids enjoyed the lo mein and sesame chicken.

Used to be my favorite place. The lomein is always over cooked now with no flavor. Decided to order lunch today and they jacked up the price and lowered the portions. Ordered chicken garlic and I got 5 different types of veggies in huge chunks that took up most the container and just 4 pieces of chicken. Lousy! And their eggs rolls are half filled with the fryer oil that leaks out all over the bags. This has all happened the last time we ordered from here too. So much time passed that I had hopes today would be different but no. Panda express would of been a better meal.

Not to impressed. Asked the waiter to bring the asian lady I have some questions. She wasnt even bothered to come over. Talk about customer service. Food was just mediocre.

The food here is so great. My go to is the Spicy Thai Rice Noodles. They are absolutely delicious. I love the flavor. However, the spice level is never consistent. I have had that dish maybe 5 times, sometimes it is really, really spicy and sometimes it just has a touch of spice in it. Either way I love them, but if that was more consistent they would be a 5 star for me.

This place rocks, we ordered a bit before they were gonna close cause my boyfriend was working late. The food was delivered hot and fresh, and they gave us free egg rolls! Their sesame chicken is the best in town for sure.

Excellent all the way around. Our go to restaurant was closed today so we thought we would give Chili House a try...our now go to restaurant!! Food was wonderfully delicious, delivery swift, plenty of food to serve family style, got extra egg rolls...thank you very much. Mucho yummy.

The best Chinese food Ive ever eaten. Not only are the flavors perfect, but every single thing was cooked just right. Nothing mushy or rubbery. Absolutely fantastic!

Memorable in not a good wayStir fry in basil / garlic sauce was flavorless.Chili house spicy stir fry was just a sickly sweet mess.If you have any a big gob of food and have Covid (so you can’t taste), this is your place!

Not too sure why there are so many 5 star reviews. Oh wait, we are in Colorado and people do not know what real Chinese is supposed to taste like. Egg roll? Thats a spring roll and super greasy. Fried rice is bland. And the sushi. Well Safeway has better sushi.

Incredible food! I love Chili House and even when I order delivery, every meal is simply perfect. Full of fresher than fresh ingredients (even the seafoodand perfectly seasoned, Chili House nails it every time!

I was really looking forward to this food after hearing some good things. It was awful wonton soup was two dumplings in a cup of chicken broth the cheese wontons were rubbery and cold and the sesame chicken tasted like pure vinegar. I live seven minutes from chili House and the GrubHub driver delivered it extremely quickly so this was obviously old subpar food.

Ordered hot and sour soup, asked for spicy. Soup was mild at best and not really a soup more of a vegetable stew.Also got the Thai fried rice besides the free basil leaves out was bland and plain. Asked for spicy also for this. Very disappointed for $30.

Service from server was amazing. Paul was very attentive and professional. He was compensated for his efforts. The Wonton soup was good. Any Thai cuisine ordered sucked. Ordered chicken satay. Satay = grilled. Was fried with a film of oil. 🤮 green curry extremely salty, Thai spicy noodle dish wasn’t even a wide noodle but chow mein noodle. Similar to a spaghetti noodle. Thai pineapple fried rice has no broccoli or carrot. They can’t do Thai. Only Chinese. They have never been to Thailand or a Thai restaurant for that matter. Brought these concerns up and was literally told ‘we’ve been in business 20 years and no one has complained “ and told to get out and leave. Oh, and the egg rolls are only cabbage fried in their Wrapper.for Thai I’d recommend Baan Thai in council tree or Salathai in Windsor

The BEST Chinese food I have ever eaten. I had chicken curry that was divine! Large portions and excellent service from Mario. My new favorite restaurant!

The quality of the food here has really declined over the last year or so. I got the Walnut Shrimp (what I usually getand it seemed like the shrimp had gone bad. I confronted a member of the staff about it so she took that entree off our bill. My girlfriend got the General Tsao (per usualand it was just undesirable. She barely ate any and decided to not even take what was leftover. We also got the cheese wontons which tasted and felt like they had been made an hour prior. Its really unfortunate how much this place has changed. It used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants and now Im not sure that Ill ever go back...

A go-to for great Chinese food. Consistently excellent. Customer service and appreciation top-notch. Most recent visit we had a couple of folks who wanted a Margarita (yeah, I knowand the drinks, made from scratch, rivaled any Mexican restaurant. Recommend highly.

I’m a preggo lady and was looking for some bomb Chinese. This place is it! Better than any other fast food Chinese, and just as fast. Sooooo good!

Make sure restaurant gets your address right!!!!!Order two dinners at 6:08pm. Was told 55-60 minutes. I figured as much. Around 7:20pm, well over an hour time, I called wondering where my order was. Woman told me driver was on the way….After 2 hours, 8:05pm, I call again and lady told me the driver had left it on my door and rang the door bell several times. Driver was “100% positive” they left it at my door. I will 100% never order from these meat heads again.

Great experience tonight. Potstickers were perfectly done, crispy on the bottom, soft on top with tasty pork filling. The fried cream cheese wontons with hot mustard arrived at the table warm. For the entree we chose one of the specialties of the house, the taste of Malaysia. Definitely will order it again. The service was spot on and the owner stopped by to make sure everything was OK and to chat. Great evening.

I liked the food that we did get. However half of my order was missing. An app and a fried rice. Not the end of the world, it was a simple mix up. My review is based on their response when I called them. They insisted that they did put the missing food with my order and kept asking if I was sure. It really seemed like they thought I was not being honest which was just really strange/uncomfortable?? They told me to take it up with the delivery service to get a refund which was a whole thing but whatever. It was weird and there are plenty of other options so I’ll pass on them next time.

Had a full busy day and was not in the mood to cook so ordered delivery from Chili House. Was not disappointed! I was told to expect delivery within 45 to 60 minutes, which was fine, but was pleasantly surprised when the driver arrived in 15 minutes. Chili House is one of the few remaining restaurants that not only delivers, but with a $12 minimum, has no delivery fee. I did something different this time. Instead of ordering entrees my wife and I ordered five appetizers. Each was great. We had steamed pork dumplings, steak skewers, crystal rolls, which came on a bed of cucumber, lettuce and rice noodles, veggie and shrimp tempura, BBQ ribs. The meats were all moist and loaded with flavor. All of the various sauces that came with the order were tasty. Ordering over the phone was fast and easy. We’ll order from Chili House again. My daughter and I love eating here. Its calm and quiet, the servers are attentive and personable. The food is fresh and delicious. We love to try different dishes everytime, and we have not had a bad one yet

Great, and friendly staff! I only stopped by for a beer to hide from the hobby store with the boss lady, but was treated like a well tipping regular. Jordan definitely is fantastic at his job! The food looks great, and smells amazing! I will absolutely be back to try it out!!!

There is something amazing about this place that is hard to put into words, but its my goto for Asian food when Im through with the day and just want to sit down, relax and enjoy dinner. Its great food, service and atmosphere. Theyre very good at what they do and their business is food in a comfortable setting. Nothing super fancy, but they always come through. Well keep coming back and always recommend it to friends and family.

Love this place! I order from them at least twice a month because theyre so close to my work and deliver for free. Good portions for the price and great taste! Ive had their sushi as well and its delicious too. I order delivery through the website and its always on time or early.

Great steamed dumplings, sesame chicken, and sushi. The sesame chicken is labeled as spicy, but neither of us found it to be spicy at all. The lo mein was not our favorite, but not bad. The spicy tuna roll was SPICY. It was delicious, but definitely the spiciest Ive ever had for a spicy tuna roll.

I love the orange tofu and sesame tofu! Their sushi is also awesome and a really great price!

We love this place, wonderful friendly service, great staff, and charming ambiance. Mushu chicken, Thai special, and Korean bogogi from to to bottom, they were all wonderful choices.

Im begining to think decent asian cuisine is out pf the question in fort collins....the service and portion size was truley amazing but the food was gross all og it swimming in sauce and all sauces were overseasoned....however i will say that the food did not have hair or mold in it and it was hot. The portions were huge. The server jen was truley amazing and artentive even though she was the only server during lunch she made sure we had our food promptly tge chili house thai was so sweet it tasted like syrup....jen quickly apoligized(even tho she didnt need to because she did not cook itand had a kung pao sauced chili thia made for us promptly. The soup was the highlight of the meal they def. Need to revise thier recipe and pick 1 theme for there resturant. The ceiling is black and white checkered theme clashing with the multicolored outdated walls and floral booths. Tgey also need a cleaning crew theyre is dust above evetywhere and upon leaving ur nose will definitely need a blow. Its a place to eat. But its by no means satisfying. Eggrolls were overcooked only containing raw unseasoned crunchy cabbage...when our server brought our food back the asian lady greeted us for the remainder of our visit with intense glars and nasty looks so much so that myself and lunch company felt uncomfortable and ended up leaving but not before we left that server a 20 dollar tip she deserved it...from now on ill go out east for my Asian cuisine needs fort collins is lacking good taste where this particular cuisine is concerned.

Just moved from old town and googled nearby delivery places, and this came up. I am always a but wary of places that try and do a bunch of different pan asian cusines- but was craving asian.The delivery service was good, delivering on the quoted 1 hour. The food- not as much. The wontons in the soup were very mushy, guessing super frozen; the egg rolls were actually crispy spring rolls with egg roll filling (not bad, just not as advertised); and the Thai green curry was super disappointing. The curry had no level of cream, which is how nearly all thai curries are made. This was more like soup (see photo). Spice level was excellent, flavors just ok.Good pricing, but prob wont try again. My guess is people like it so much for its sanitized, family friendly, American style asian taste.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G all around. Super fast and friendly service, reasonable pricing, HUGE portions, and everything we ordered was the best I’ve had. So happy the fam tried this place on a whim, it would be worth the 1.5 hour drive to come back here.
