This is fraud. Fraud Fraud FraudOne small naan two pounds. Its crazyDespite committed to serve naan instead of rice but charged me naan two poundsI strongly recommend do Not visit this restaurant for meal

Good food.. reasonable price

A short walk from the Hampton Waterloo. Very friendly staff, super fast service, and very flavorful food. I had the Chana masala and it was amazing. Also, the temperature was really hot. Still hot when I got back to my room.

Amazing lamb sagwalla and keema naan. Non fancy, honestly price Indian food. About £12 per head with raita.

Delicious food and very kind and patient staff made me feel really well in this restaurant.

I been this restaurant my first time and it will be my last time . Really bad customer service . Witches my order was £7.99 they cost me £13.99 I told them this is the price I order it they sayid no it’s £13.99 they was so rude to me . Also food was Rubbish. I recommend every one don’t go there . 😞

I ordered Chicken Tikka Madras , Pilaw Rice , Keema Garlic NannAll i got was a Madras with loads of whole Chillis & its was blandThe rice is supposed to be WHITE mine was Grey ishThe Keema Garlic Naan had NO Mince inside & it was hard & very dryThe bill came to £17.07 I would of paid around about £10Keep your money in your pocket & dont goIts bloody horrible

Very good! I enjoyed the lamb tikka masala. A bit sweeter than I’m used to, but not too sweet. Would definitely recommend!

Wheres the meat.? Tried the chicken biryani and should have sent a search party out for the chicken... £7.50 for a plate of rice, which didnt have much flavour... Very poor, best avoided unless you are a vegetarian who has lost your taste buds.. In which case, fill your boots. 👎

This is not particularly great. The presentation of the food is sloppy. I got an onion salad that seemed to be prepared by an 8 year old.The curries Ive ordered before seem to have a similar base gravy and dont really have much difference in flavour.

If you want a tasteless, bland curry that tastes like airplane food for 10 quid don’t hesitate to get it from this place

Pound for pound, value for money this place is one of the best curry houses in London. Introduced my Greek student girlfriend to Pakistani food here in 2005 and she loved it. Shes now my wife and we love returning to Chillies for nostalogic purposes but also the lovely authentic dishes. The interior hasnt changed and we feel like students again every time we visit. Dont change a thing! Same owners, same menu for two decades (and more). If youre expecting a fancy indian restaraunt then youve got the wrong end of the stick. This place keeps it real. Looking forward to bringing my son here when hes a bit older.

Tired looking restaurant with average food overpriced. Curries small portion for price and also some lacked flavour. Lamb was tough. Pilau rice okay but not great. Saag paneer tinned spinach and a bit gooey. Naan alright. Raita didnt have much in it. Cold potato salad was okay. Food isnt best quality and doesnt seem that fresh. The curries are served in cold metal bowls and restaurant is cold and draughty so food goes cold quickly.Price is a bit high for what they serve and you can definitely find better.Floor is very dirty and grimy, furniture worn and cheap. Place is not very clean looking and a bit run down. Counter looks dirty, empty and sad. Dirty and sticky menus.Service was very slow despite we were the only ones in the restaurant. Took 10 minutes for bill to arrive when staff were literally doing nothing.Doubt i will go again.

Amazing. Chicken tikka masala and naan for £6.50. Came in at near midnight, and food was excellent. Cannot recommend enough.

One of the best takeaways around elephant castle and sorroundings. Costumer services seems friendly and helpful. They also have open plan kitchen so you can see while cooking, food tasty and good value what you pay. Will recommend to my friends and families.

Absolutely in love with this place. I live in the neighborhood, and they are the best local tandoori place I couldve asked for. The food is very authentic, speaking as a Delhi-ite! We often go there for weekend or dinner takeaways when we dont feel like cooking. Cant beat this price! Great staff. Absolutely recommend for everyone in covid times, do get a takeaway from them in you are in neighborhood and support this small business! Would hate to lose this place :)

Chicken Madras ordered 29/08/20 being new to the area, once opened it was what can only be described as, as far from any authentic Indian food I have ever seen.A puddle of oil sat on top of poor quality curry in a half full small dish.Nothing to say good about any of this slop.Avoid this place.

Genuinely shocked at how the chef took the chicken out of the freezer to then attempt to cook it in front of us. We immidiately asked if that was our meal to which the chef replied "Yes". Instead of being rude we decided go continue with the the purchase. We arrived home, served up the food within a couple mouthfalls we decided not to eat it.Extremely greasy, no flavour, frozen chicken, the nan breads taste of flour.You cannot charge customers these prices when serving poor quality ingredients.Try a curry house called "The Coriander" the food is amazing and cheaper.I would avoid this takeaway.

I have just finished a lovely meal at Chillies with my brother, sister in law and nephew. The food was traditional and hearty. The vibe was chilled and relaxed for what is a busy area. At the end of the meal we needed to get a taxi down the road as my nephew wasn’t able to walk back and the chef offered to take us. How kind! What an incredible gesture. Time to now pay it forward :-)

I go past here nearly every day but up to now have never been in. It looks rather basic from the outside, and perhaps a little uninviting, but once you step through the door its friendly and down-to-earth.The menu is straight-forward, concentrating mostly on recognisable dishes. Prices are very reasonable indeed, and its BYOB. Water jugs are provided on the tables.The basic stops once the food comes out though. Its delicious. Fresh ingredients, great range of flavours, excellent rice and naans. The service is friendly and the right level of laid-back throughout, and theres none of the hassling or upselling that often comes in curry restaurants.Very highly recommended, Ill certainly be back.

As others say, this place is a bit basic in terms of tables, chairs and overall decor and having a counter on one side of the room, no doubt to help ordering take-aways. But it is quick to serve and the food is delicious, and overall with good prices. And staff are helpful and friendly. So perfect for me wanting a quick dinner when staying in a hotel nearby. Other reviews have suggested this place doesnt take cards for payment. I was able to pay by visa no problem. Im sure you can order drinks - having water already available on table I found to be a helpful touch.

Stopped for a lunch with my two cousins that wanted to try good authentic Indian cuisine. The food was average, nice flavours with the curries we ordered but the rice was below average, probably not fresh! Overall nice customer service but one thing he forgot to prepare our coffee after reminding him he looked confused.

I went to Chillies late at night as they open till 3 AM and had good reviews but unfortunately didnt have a good experience there. My place was untidy and looked unhygienic. They served us with water with an insect swimming inside. The food didnt taste good. I am never ever going back again.

Nice food, excellent lunchtime prices and the guys will make your food extra spicy if you want.I have been going there for years and recommend it to friends/family. Most people I take there love it.Will be back soon :)

I simply love their food ... No nonsense space with some very good food !! I have become almost a regular ... Good decent Indian food !! At amazing prizes which is the real highlight !!I have ordered almost most of their special lamb items.. Which is served along with Rice and Nan..I also ordered their sheekh once, it was a very rustic taste and i really liked that..The staff may come across as a little rude, but i believe it could be a culture thing.. I really liked the fact that they were straight forward and corrected my choice of order !!A good experience and tasty food at very reasonable prices.

I cant find any curry house is better than this, its one of the best some rich flavours which makes it very tasty.

Decent food compared to many other Indian/Pakistani restaurants.They appear to be not so friendly, but they are good people coz they let a girl (non customeruse their toilet so that tells me they are kind people.May not be a fancy restaurant but food tastes decent and for the price the quantity and ration of starch vs meat seems ok.

Acceptable and good.. but I missed the rich indiqn tasty Ive been eating before.. maybe was needed a bit more spices ... but generally OK

I could not comment on whether or not it is traditional but the rice and sauce are usually cooked perfectly. Staff are nice and the place is homey. It usually takes at least 20 mins before your food is arrived. The portion isn’t big and it is suitable for one person.

Amazing, tasty and cheap food, I had dinner with a friend of mine on Saturday 7 July. Why 2 stars though?! I didnt like how the men working there approached us!! They gave us the impression that we had to hurry eating and the place was pretty much EMPTY!! Thats a shame, because we really enjoyed the food!! Regards. Luana.
