Best indian place in Stockholm. Actually tastes like home cooked food in India. The owner is so nice and has such good vibes and the staff are very sweet. Feels like being in a mini India.

The owner of this place is really rude and he dont know how to speak to customers. This type of practice will not help them sustain for long. I visited recently here and i could see empty seats but owner told they dont have space. I dont know what was their intention to not let customer eat. I will definitely never visit and also wont encourage people to eat here.

Food is no doubt tasty and authentic. If you have to wait to order or your kids are little naughty owner behaves a bit rude.

The garlic bread is awesome and loved it! Very crispy. But the normal bread was hard to chew and a bit disappointed. The masala is really recommended.

Excellent food ! The service was impeccable, friendly staff !This is the best food I had in the entirety of Sweden.

Very good dishes, very clean restaurant. The owner and the waitresses are so kind and careful with the customers. We traveled the whole Sweden from south to north, east to west and we never ate a food that delicious. The chicken was so tasty that I litteraly cried on it. The food is certified Halal and we were able to take the leftovers with us. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will comeback again. Un très grand merci à Ayda et Tony 😁

The food really is one of the best Indian restaurants in Stockholm. The problem is the owner that sucks bigtime in counting when it’s time to pay. We’ve been going here for years. My wife always has to correct his calculations everytime it’s him behind the counter. The others are ok. It’s just him. He counts the bread as extra everytime even the you said no rice and yes to a nanbread instead. Everytime. The food though is very very good.

Hi, we are hang out here in this restaurant on ( 26/8/2022 but the Man who is on the cash counter his behavior not nice Like rude, menu is not available on the table that is bad thing the man who is on the cash counter he dont know how the attend the customer, food is ok not bad not much nice 50/50 average, if the restaurant owner read my this comment please ask that person be nice.

We were looking for a place with authentic Pakistani food in Stockholm and the Uber driver recommended us this place. We had a chicken biryani that was delicious and a seekh kebabroll that was great. Very friendly staff and OK prices.

Okayish food, too much oil. Owner seemed arrogant

Not a good place for a family. Too much oil in food, taste was okay. Quantity was good. We ordered okra and Dal. In dal they only have one option of chane ki daal. Too much money for 6 gol gappe. Owner was sitting outside with his gang and were being too loud, didn’t look professional at all. Environment was not that good. Went there after looking reviews but it seems they are paid. The only thing was water and the staff was friendly.

My pictures arent that clear due to lack of lighting in the restaurant. It was very dark, we were unable to see our food when we told the waiter this, he said to use the light from our phones! The food was tasty though, especially the lamb karahi. The chicken tandoori wasnt tasty, however the presentation was quite nice. It is quite pricey spent over 900SEK! Would recommend it!

Great food as well as helpful and friendly staff.Very few places here have good roti and naan and this place did not disappoint. I had peshawari nan and it was a delight.Would definitely recommend.

Amazing service and food. We dont speak Swedish but they translated for us and helped greatly. Amazing indian food too!

Useless. Mcdonalds is better. If u heard of cheap indians, this place hits a new low. they shud get an award. its a self service place with a set menu.previous customer had spilt water on the chair I sat on and they refused to give me a towel to help soak up the water on my trousers.AVOID AT ALL COST

The rating is for the food. Nice food, the taste is authentic and not overly sweet as much of the Bengal/Indian Cuisine often is in Sweden. The location and atmosphere sadly leaves a lot to be desired.

It went there after few years and food quality is really bad! There was 2 inchi sold bone in the plate and I’m not paying for 2-3 inchi bone. Plus sauce is really runny.This used to be nice authentic restaurant and after today I will say not anymore

All the items that we ordered were good. Punjabi Jalfrezi, garlic naan, vegetable biriyani and Punjabi lassi. Thanks for serving us a delicious food.

Couple of things went wrong here:- Ambience: too noisy; indoors feels stuffed with humidity, food smell and oil vapors; indoors looks unhygienic and uncleaned- Service: we asked for another seat so we can sit far from kitchen but we were denied very rudely- Food: we asked for the food to be spicy but we were served non-spicy food. The rice had dry bits giving a feeling as if its not fresh- you have to PAY for the salad- you take the food smell with you in your clothes- wait time: quite fast, we didnt have to wait for longOverall not recommended. No value for money and you leave unsatisfied and smelly. Definitely not a place for a date.

Nothing to like about the place. Ordered aloo poori and mango lassi. Lassi was too sweet and aloo poori bland and dripping oil. The ambience is shady and the owner was being rude with a customer because they said they didn’t like their food. It claims to be a punjabi restaurant but is more aptly a pakistani punjabi restaurant and very far from the Indian punjabi flavours.

This is the place to get served really tasty food with added extra hot and spicy humiliation. For someone undersanding the language they speak, it feels a nice way to pay for getting insult as a service :). Free advice - please hang a banner of minimum spend amount on orders. Only those who plan to spend more than your specified money should enter the restaurant.

Probably the best Indian/Pakistani restaurant I’ve tried in Stockholm — truly tastes like Punjabi food should. Excellent vegetarian options and very reasonable prices. Especially recommend the bhindi piaz (okra and onion fried in spices).

Every time I eat here my soul leaves my body and meets the Gods. I’ve tried several dishes and never been disappointed. Takes us 20 mins to come here by car and we have tried other Punjabi places in Stockholm but nothing comes close to Chili Masala.

I had to edit my review, from 5 to one star, their quality has definitely gone down the biryani was nothing like I tasted the last time, so save your money and dont order biryani. Seekh kebabs were also average. Naam are good

Not a good restaurant, if you are looking for a true Indian taste. Not worth wrt cost, quality and taste. Didn’t like the ambience and staff.Will be my last option in Stockholm!Giving 2 star as order took 10-15 mins max to serve.

In one word food is very tasty 😋. It could be 5 stars but need to improve the restaurant atmosphereQuality and quantity is best and of course with good price😊 and good service as well.

Center of Tasty, fresh and pure Pakistani and Indian cuisines with reasonable prices especially roti. The owner and staffs are nice and provide best services. Prayer facility is also available for muslims on demand. In last, the tea ☕️ was fantastic.

VERY Delicious indian food. A little too much oil though. The staff were nice and didnt hesitate to give extra bread and chili. Great place for lunch, too expensive after lunchtime. And I got a severe diarrhea and stomachache the day after but I assume that the problem is just me who is not used to Indian food.

This used to be an excellent restaurant for its indian cuisine quality. I don’t know what happened recently..I have occassionally visited this place a few years back. It never disappointed to serve generous portions, well-spiced, with very good taste.This year, I decided to come back for a few meals, and I was surprised with the drop in food quality. The ingredients used in the dishes do not feel fresh, and the meat parts are not chosen carefully as they used to. I got portions that were mostly bones rather than edible parts.The prices are generally the same as always, slightly expensive, but it used to balance itself with the generous portions in the past. In my recent experiences I have found myself craving for more, as the portions appear to have much less quantity than needed to satisfy one’s appetite.Waiters are attentive, friendly, and helpful to make choices on the menu. The personnel in the kitchen appear less friendly, glancing towards the customers in an intrusive manner. I felt uncomfortable under their gaze when going in/out or during payment.In terms of hygiene, I visited a few times during covid-aware times and I regretted it. Cleaningness is totally absent on the outside dining area, and no disinfectants available on the table. You have to inquire personally for the table to be cleaned, only to be met with a half-dirty wet cloth that is practically less effective at cleaning the table than spreading around the germs.The inside is better, but still on below average hygienic standards.I might come back after a few years to see if they have improved. But I prefer to avoid it for the time being.

Definitely food is amazing. For food, they deserve 5 star but dining area is little bit congested. Price reasonable. Tawa king prawn is the best dish I had over there.

Amazing service and staff. Above all i was highly impressed with the snacks. I had been craving Pani Puri (also known as Gol Gappeyand some authentic pakoras! This is the place to go. They have outdoor seating too. Loved loved loved. Going there again soon and taking other friends with.

I have been there a few times and I have always fallen in love with this Indian food. This food isnt bland but it does have a lot of taste. I recommend Lammrack, Chicken Tikka Masala and Panipuri which is something different 😋 The Naan bread with garlic is the best that I have ever tried so it is a must there. The staff is nice, decent amount of food and prices are okey. I highly recommend it 👌

We went here a bit early on a weekend so we got really good service. I am taking away one star because they have adjusted the taste to the Swedish market but it would have been perfect if they stayed with authentic punjabi flavors.

Lamb briyani was excellent. Chicken tikka masala was good just a little sweet for my taste and I dont fancy chicken breast. Cosy place. Waitress with the ponytail wearing black glasses was super helpful, friendly and cheerful 👍awesome attitude.

Biryani, golgappay and other stuff was not accurately of pakistani spicy taste a bit sugary. Moreover Biryani had nuts in it. I seen nuts in biryani first time ever! Gol gappay were not fresh and Pakistani. But I liked environment and the way they served!

Authentic Indian restaurant with fair prices. Probably the best Indian cuisine in town. Wonderful flavours which send you on a culinary trip to India. We tried their signature dish (in a panand different kinds of stews. The staff is very friendly and super attentive. We felt good taken care of. I highly recommend this place even if needs a bit of travel through the city - worth it!

Wow, wow and wow. Ive been to lots of Indian places during my life time since I love Indian food. But I have to say and got surprised that the best Indian food experience so far is Chill Masala and that its located in my home town.The curry (meaning the sauceis just astonishing in terms of flavours and richness! Once you have tasted the curry, you will immediately notice a difference from regular places even though they serve decent food. The spice notes are very different since this is a Punjabi restaurant compared to other Indian restaurants.Ive been there twice and so far Ive not been disappointed. The consistency of the food us great and it tastes exactly the same.In terms of food, Id give 5 stars.Sure, the interior is more like a no frill place and simple. But I go here for the great food they are making. And its cheap in my mind. Most of the dishes costs 120 to 180 sek! So please people dont complain about the price, cause youd be paying alot more for this kind of tasty food abroad.

My choice for good food everytime I visit Stockholm. Authentic Pakistani/Indian cuisine, quality service by the staff and most of all delicious food.The Tawa champ is a must there!

Delicious food. No other words to put it. Big in size. Staff was very helpful; translated and recommended for us—it turned out very tasty. Prices are quite reasonable. We ordered king prawns in two different dishes and both amazed us with the quality of the prawn and the sauce.

Great place. The food was so so so delicious. Good news to the Muslim community! This place serves only halal food 😁. The restaurant was full and I mean full in a Saturday... That shows how popular Chili Masala is. The boss Tony, was there him self welcoming guests...

Tasty food. Definitely one of the more authentic Indian restaurants in Stockholm. Service was slow (waited over 25 mins for a Biryani for Sunday lunch), but the food was tasty and the portions were good - so not much to complain about in the end.

Unquestionably one of Stockholms best Pakistani restaurant. You will find classic Northern Indian and Pakistani dishes at reasonable prices (around 140 - 160 kr per dish, with rice includedand their deserts are to die for! The service is excellent and the elderly gentleman owning this restaurant is almost always welcoming and in a good mood.The restaurant used to be located in Tensta but has since 2014 moved to the most shabby part of posh Solna (Hagalundbut is well worth a visit!The salad bar offers a tomato-onion-cucumber-pinapple salad and of course a slightly hot and refreshing raita. The only problem were the tiny little plates that barely could hold two spoons of salad.The butter chicken was mild and tasted tomato cream but the spinach (saag / palakchicken was incredibly delicious. The naan was freshly baked on sight (open kitchen).As deserts, we had kulfi accompanied with sliced almonds and my favorite, a very sweet and savoury Rasmalai (juicy cream cheesetopped with beautiful green and pink pistachio nibs.Fantastic experience.UPDATE: AVOID THE LUNCH MENU! IT IS ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE AND WORTHLESS!!!!

The food is amazingly delicious and portion sizes of the curries are quite big. It got good varieties of veg and non-veg food. Waiting times are also on par with some other Indian restaurants. Its one of the best indian food restaurant chains I have tried and authentic ones in Stockholm.
