Children's Museum of Fond du Lac in Oshkosh

Took the grandkids there as part of their birthday celebrations. They loves it.

This building is much better than the building it was in before. They have more room for more kids to have fun

Always a great time for the kids.

Very helpful staff, they actually enjoy their job and being around kids. There is lots to do and the kids dont get bored after 30 minutes. Even after a few hours, they still want to stay longer. Nice clean bathrooms, and they are kid friendly.

A great place for little kids, lots of fun activities and educational displays. The staff is very helpful, especially Dolce. She assisted me with membership and was extremely helpful and caring. Highly recommend this place.

Truly a great place to take your family. So many things to enjoy and learn. My grandkids really had fun 😊 Will definitely go back when they come and visit again♥️

This place is awesome for even the youngest toddler, they can roam freely without worry of what they will get into, the staff is friendly and works hard to give variety and fun to every child who comes in the doors

Great place to let the kids play and learn.

Nephew absolutely loves this place. Could spend 25 hours a day in there. Stations are well looked after and cleaned by staff. Good variety of stations.

Uf your going less frequently the kids will enjoy more - but still a viable stop for a moment of peace for you while the kiddos play and LEARN !!

We recently attended their monthly Sensory Round Up. We are new to the area and so appreciate their thoughtfulness and care for those on the Autism Spectrum. This is a designated time for those with special sensory needs. See their website for details and registration. Its usually an hour and half and free to those with ASD and their families. My husband and I had tons of fun with our 6 year old son...making pizzas at the pretend pizza restaurant, building the great wall of China and of course playing foseball and air hockey. Highly recommend!

Great space for families to do things that they are not able to anywhere else. You get to play and learn at the same time. Well maintained for such a small town not to mention being a non-profit organization. Friendly staff add to the experience too. Fond du Lac is very lucky to have this institution!

My 7 year old daughter had a great time here. Spent just over 2 hours here Saturday and not to crowded and plenty of activities for her to do.

Friendly staff. Safe and health conscious environment. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations. Simple rules are given at admission like no running. We enjoyed a educational program and made a craft. Many different occupations and stations for kids to explore. There is a travel theme with passports, a pizzeria, stock market, human body and health, a radio station, puppet show, building, phones, ball and shoot, party room, classroom, Firetruck, dairy and farming, Lego table, shuffle board, foosball, and more.

Its so very child and adult friendly. My granddaughter could easily play with all the toys safely. It was her first visit, she cant wait for our next visit.

My son loves this place at 4 years old. Lots to keep his little mind busy, and other children to interact with. He really enjoys building the train tracks.

The Childrens Museum of Fond du Lac is an incredible asset to our community. Always a favorite for birthday parties and celebrations as well as just a day without plans. They have very fun classes and activities on schedule and things are always changing. A friendly staff tops it all off!

Neat place. Currently a school but when open to the public its a good place to take younger kids.

This is a smaller kids museum but it has all the things for children that are 1 year to 12/13 years old. The place is one level so no having to go up stairs and also there is an outside piece which can be used during all the different seasons which is really nice. The different activities change once in a while but they always have a big kids tunnel, slide and a baby/toddler play area.The staff is helpful and responsive if you need something. They have a craft area with coloring, cutting and crafts which is really nice. The last thing is that they have rooms you can rent and do activities in which is great. It really is a great place in Fond du Lac to do a birthday party.

Our family loves the Childrens Museum. It is a great place to let the kids run and explore. The family nights are always a blast and we love the Wednesday science classes! You can tell the staff genuinely cares about what they are doing. The facility is always clean and mostly in working order. The price is fair. I feel like the exhibits change enough to keep it interesting. I would love to see a water table in the future. Overall great value.

Perfect place for children under the age of 10 to go and explore, meet new kids and take classes make them more well rounded! My 3 year old loves it here and really enjoyed art class. Getting him out of the building is the hard part!

Had attended a birthday party here. Wonderful place to visit and plenty of fun, educational things to keep your kids busy for hours.

Great open space for the kids to run around. Love that it is only one level. Parking is never a problem as it is located in an old grocery store building. Just wish the entrance/exit was more secure as it still has the automatic doors and there is not always someone working at the entrance. Had our kids birthday there and they were very helpful and accommodating.

Me and my kids love this local museum. Very family friendly! Has awesome hands on "exhibits". Great clubs and stuff to do with the kids in the winter and fall. Garden club is a hit this summer! We learned about so much. We definitely make it a family destination on regular basis.

My 2 and 4 year old had a blast here! There was truly something for everyone. They loved the restaurant and construction play areas. I was even able to breastfeed my newborn in a comfy, semi secluded area. We will definitely be getting a membership to come back more often.

Too expensive. Not a whole lot of activities. Kids literally running wild. My 3 year old granddaughter couldnt do most activities due to unruly children. Never going back

Brought the children there on a weekday afternoon as a reward for working hard at our homeschooling. There werent a lot of people there so they had complete run of the place...as I have a badly damaged knee, I found the spread out seating to be a huge blessing. It allowed me to stay there with them until near closing. The place is clean, well staffed and supervised, and has lots to keep your child engaged. Will definitely be there more often!!

The staff is kind, courteous and seem to love children. My children had a great time playing and learning. We will definitely be back.

Great place to bring your kids to play and explore. There are bilingual signs. Love that! They are also adding new exhibits and are reasonably priced. Also, if you qualify for wic then you qualify for a reduced price membership.

Weve been here several times, this time with a 2 year old and 7 year old. The kids always have lots of fun. Its not a huge place, but that makes it easier to keep track of more than one kid.

My family loved it. Although the activities are focused on the younger kids. It could be a little bigger but fun.

One of the best local attractions for both young and the young at heart! So many diffrent things to view. I personally recommend checking out the Childrens Museum, your children will thank you in the end.

Nice children’s museum with a variety of fun, interactive stations. My 4 year old and 2 year old daughters had fun and enjoyed it. I’d give it 5 stars if adults were free. Most children’s museums we have been to, adults are free because they are not playing with the toys/equipment. To pay $7 for myself for just standing around seems kind of a waste to me.

Beautiful building and spacious. Friendly welcoming staff at front. Some of the exhibits needed touch ups such as paint or repairs and a few were not working. I was disappointed with the older unattended kids screaming and running around/rough housing, this negatively affected our familys experience. It would have been nice to have one or two of the three staffers posted at the front desk to be monitoring the happenings within the museum. I think the exhibits would be in better shape if the staff was more attentive. We went to the museum for a learning experience and unfortunately it wasnt that due to the other visitors (AKA parents who let their kids run wild while they are staring at their phones). We will try again though because there is a lot to see and explore. Loved the toddler reef room, definitely kids of all ages will like this place.

Nice museum. First time visit. Just wish more of the exhibits worked. Went on a Sunday afternoon and 1/4 of the exhibits were out of order. Said something at the front desk. The attendant told me that the person that fixes exhibits doesnt work on weekends. Makes no sense to me. Weekends probably have more visitors so they should have someone around to fix issues... just saying

This is a nice little place for kids to explore and have fun. Great that that they also have events and science experiments for children to learn. The areas are well kept by a wonderful staff and the exhibits and areas are pretty well updated. Not bad at all for $7 a person

Awesome spot for toddlers and preschool-aged kiddos, especially in the winter! Lots of space for tots and kids to run around and play. Free storage lockers to store your coats. I was surprised at the variety of the exhibits/play areas, and the overall cleanliness of the museum and bathrooms. Highly recommended!

My kids loved it. They love using their imaginations and this place is perfect for that. With guidance from parents, the educational aspect is wonderful as well. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

This place is GREAT for the kids! Ive read the reviews with only 3 or less stars and chanced it anyways. They were all wrong! This place was very nice. Were things somewhat abused?... ya.. but everything worked! Kids are climbing and pounding on everything.. I cant believe this place Isnt more beat up! The place was spotless and very neat. Staff was super friendly. We enjoyed it so much we signed up for a year membership.

Been a member for approximately 5 1/2 years. We started at the old facility by the library and now are at the current site. My children are now almost 6 and 4. Time goes fast with your kids, so take advantage of the facility and memories you make together. Im starting to look back at the time spent with my oldest whos just about done with this level of his life and am very appreciative that facilities such as this exist. Thank you.

We love the Childrens museum. We are so happy to have a place to play and explore in Fond du Lac. Its great for all three of my kids that are ages 2, 6, and 9. The staff members are helpful; be sure to take advantage of free activities and programs that they may be offering during your visit. We are members so we can go visit for a hour or two and my kids are always entertained. The building is clean. My only complaint is that it can get very loud in there when there are a lot of people.

i have a 2yr old 4yr old and 6 yr old and they had fun for about 30 mins but for the prices its not worth it many things to do but my kids didnt stay intrested in each thing very long.... it would be good to go and take pictures tho with kids
