Chianti Pub in Istanbul

I had a seriously fun time owners made me laugh even though it was lost in translation spent a lovely 2 hours trying to be a local.

Unwelcoming bar: waiters are bothered by your presence, leave you little choice with drinks and do not let you pay with a card unless it’s a national one. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting with actual poop on walls… drinks are out of date. The bill is expensive too… it should close.

A homely café & bar which opens in early hours of the day but it is more busy in the evenings and around midnight. It gets more busy and a little louder after around 9-10 p.m usually. In 2022 Chianti move to a new address in very famous bar district, Nevizade, not very far from the previous location where it had served for about 15 years.

Amazing welcoming bar. Great music and karaoke! Staff so lovely!

HUGE SCAM, AVOID THIs PLACE,we came here 4 people, 4 drinks by people 70lt, we ended up paying 8000lt in total (1300€some girls come at your table drinking water (for gin tonicthat you pay 150lt by glass and the worst you pay 2000lt just for the table and you don’t even know that it costs that much at the beggining, they give you food that you don’t want and make you pay a ton of money for it, the manager is very aggressive, because we only came for a drink and not came for 100€ a drink, worst experience in istanbul, if you want to have good time, AVOID THIS PLACE AND DONT BE SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE

Very very very expensive place. Dont go to this place. They overcharge you. If i could give it minus stars i would. Very bad experience. Complete BS and waste of money

A very sordid and unwelcoming place.I was told in a very angrily manner that it was only for women, and that I was not welcome.I made sure I was in the right place on the 2nd floorI was welcome to stay if I paid 50 lira for a coke.

You guys need to have someone at the door, you have to realize there are hustlers for other bars in the same complex at the door and if this is supposed to be an safe space and fun for visitors - you would do something about it

They are thiefs, playing people as fools will load a super expensive and nonsense bill. They tried to charge me more than 80 euros for 3 beers, unbelievable place to avoid for sure!

This place was a really bad experience . When we entered the bar they were very friendly and they took us to a very small table in a very uncomfortable corner, we asked for a beer and they brought us 5, they did not stop bringing us more and more napkins and things that we had not asked for besides offering us girls or boys, When we wanted to pay, they told us that 500 Turkish liras (€ 85were the most expensive beers of my life in a small, bad-looking bar and from there the discussions started, the pressure from almost everyone that was working there, Its all a theater to cheat and try to steal the tourist in Holland and this for me is steaming in the most blatant way, the good thing about this is that I have already reported this to everyone I know who has thought coming is a shame that places like this stain a city so pretty
