Colourful & lively eatery & bar for Asian cuisine, with a youthful vibe.
Pho in particular was a bit tasteless and small portioned, plus over priced for what it was
Super place - not only are the flavours authentic, but their service is impeccable; their food serve tines and servers are Absolutely delightful
Chi Asian Cookhouse would serve you a variety of flavorful Asian cuisines within a very classy ambience. They also have a set of very helpful and professional staff. Will be looking forward to a re-visit.
Realistic flavour and hygieneThis is really a popular restaurant, right in front of IIT Delhi. It specialises in Asian cuisines.Presentation is really nice, staff is polite, ambiance is great, food was delicious. Service sizes are sufficient for two, flavours are quite near to authentic.
All fhe chinese lover this is the best place to go and enjoy which perfect ambiance and yummy food.I have say one thing i can blindly trust on the food quality of Chi Asian Cookhouse .this is one of my favourite dine in and home delivery place for chinese.Things i would recommend are1)chicken and coriander Dumpling2)chicken spicy chilli oil Dumpling3crispy Burnt chicken4)Thai style spring roll5)thai red curry chicken6)thai chicken satay7)spicy sundried chilli fish
A delightfully selected pan oriental menu is on the offer here. The soup, dimsums, rice, and Thai curry were all awesome. The Chi chewees is worth trying. Ambience and service is fantastic! The clean loo is a cramped up space though.
Very quick service with polite staff. Food were quite delicious.
This restaurant had the most courteous staff I have ever witnessed, so nice and patient. Our server explained every exotic dish to us and gave excellent recommendations.Highly recommend if you want to have a quality experience.
Amazing food and ambience. Khaosuey and drums of heaven were very tasty. Excellent service and courteous staff.
The food is excellent and has been of the same exceptional taste and quality for all these years! But I do not like the physical restaurant. There are rats which hide behind sofas and the glass panels only to peak from time and time and ruin your lunch. I raised this concern the last time, which was two years ago, and then went recently last month. The rats are still there. How do you expect customers to be okay with this? I didnt create a scene or talk down to the management, but I did raise it a couple of times..You are a good restaurant with really good food and a very very friendly and kind staff! Why on earth would you not conduct these checks periodically and get this fixed? It would be a shame to see them lose business over this. But seriously - Order or go and get a takeaway! Food is really good.
this is such a nice place the working staff is very polite and very humble interiors are very nice and they serve a variety of food and drinks and liquor if you are nearby then please visit the place I recommend
The food, the service, the ambience... Everything is excellent. Definitely worth a visit for both family purpose or a fine couple date. The staff are very cordial and funny, especially Mr. Gurmeet Singh
Gave the restaurant a shot after heading much about it. Ordered their pork soupy Dumplings and massaman Thai curry. The Dumplings were average in both taste and quantity. Although, the massaman Thai curry was absolutely delicious! Ordered sticky rice to go along with it, and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is nice and has a relaxed vibe. Service was quick. Might try again!
If you are in and around SDA market and are looking for yummy Asian food. Then this place is a must try. It has an extensive menu dedicated to Asian food. The food is nicely prepared and presented. Would really suggest chicken coriander dumplings.
I always love their dimsums, satays and their Chi chewees. They have amazing and super courteous staff who is very pleasant and mindful of your space as a guest.Excellent food, service, behavior and ambience.
Ordered a lot of food here as we are 5 ppl!Man chow soup and Tom yum soup- order these two super tangy and spicy soups if your taste buds are off and your throat is choke!Skip chicken & coriander dumplings; honey chilli potatoes and spicy chilli oil dumplings : have had much better at other places!Must order : hunan pot ( chicken 🍗and chilli garlic noodles 🍝 ; haikou black bean spring onions - the black bean sauce was superb! And lastly bedok black pepper prawn 🍤 which was cooked to perfection!!!Had Zomato gold to make our meal even better!Ita a good place to go with friends and family but do see the cost for two!
Poor service, preparations were sub par and the plates were dirty. The soup had oil floating at the surface, the stir fry vegetables lacked freshness and the fried rice was high on sodium. Not a very good experience here.
The food was really good but I guess servicing is poor... The presentation of food thats the mind-blowing and the ambiance is good as well....They know how to please a consumer but they ignore small small stuff... Like broken plate from edge...No light music.. very bad menu design... You need to search things and no private place...
Chi is a great place for Asian food lovers. Have been a regular for a few years now. A little on the expensive side but worth it for the quality and quantity of the food. The ambience is good too.Tried their Khao Suey recently and now its my favourite! Their chilly garlic noodles and dimsums are great too.
The chi Asian cookhouse is serving the pan Asian cuisine. Located in the SDA market the restaurant has nice ambience. The one thing I felt that the seating was cramped due to large furniture. I have ordered Phad Thai (chickenand BBQ Pork with pok choy. Both the dishes were nice in flavour and tasted great specially phad thai noodles. The staff was courteous and service was prompt. Overall good experience.
Very good food, place and staff. We had the nasi gore and the cantonese chowmein. Both were yum! And they were good helpings as well. But the kitchen seemed to have hit the snooze but one too many times. Make sure u have a drink in your hand because any main course will take atleast half an hour to reach u at the table....and The place is quite ..with very simple interiors. Was expecting a bit more from the place. The food was quite normal not too impressive actually.Kimbums presentation was impressive but not the taste.Maybe I am not used to the Korean style with which they prepared it.After a rather long day, the two of us were dying to have some good food. And since we were at the SDA market, we were looking around for great places to eat at when we saw Chi. It looked like a nice place to have some good Asian food. Our decision turned out to be good, and I am glad we paid a visit. At the outset, Id like to mention, it is not the most "pocket friendly" place to eat at, if thats your number 1 concern or criteria. But if you are someone who really value good food irrespective of the fact that it might be a tad too expensive, then youre going to have a good time here, for sure.We ordered Night crawl dimsums (roasted pork), mandarin vegetarian chowmein and lemongrass chicken. Yes, the chowmein and the main course (lemongrass chicken), both were pretty nice but what took our hearts in the first bite were the roasted pork dimsums! They were absolutely amazing. I mean, I can simply go back here JUST to have atleast a couple of plates of the thing; yes, it was stunningly delicious!I believe is a good price, considering the fact that this isnt one of your run of the mill restaurants. Loved being there and Id definitely recommend this place if you are into Asian/ pan-Asian cuisine. Do NOT miss t6heir dumplings!
Happy memories of this place. They had a great cold zaru soba, which is sadly not on the menu any more, and continue to make a good, filling, wholesome Bak Kut Teh. The Korean salad was a bit of not so good, though. A bit mingy with the add on chicken that we asked for. But on the whole, the ambience is still good, and would definitely go back again, if only because SDA market doesnt have too many nice lunch places which arent cramped.

Recently had a chance to have a family lunch at this place. The decor is Asian, the food is Asian and the hospitality is Asian. Try their Korean, Burmese food which is great in taste and ample in portion size. The service is quickit was a great experience WOW
Really good ambiance! Really good food as well! A large variety of food even for vegetarians. A nice and cosy place!
Love the place. The food the cuisine and the staff... All good. We had their signature cocktails and dishes as recommended and happy with what we ate. Chocolate and orange zest dessert was a bit of letdown but that wont stop us from visiting again.
Brilliant food, courteous staff, comfortable setting and the music is quite groovy.
I have visited this place twice. Ambience and service is good. Flavor and authenticity of food was lacking. Korean Bibimbap came without nori, Gochujang and Kimchi! Thai red curry was tasty, but green curry could be more flavorful. The thai curried lacked vegetables and after one serving, we were left with just the curry part. Dessert menu is very minimal and passable. Further, I wish they have some activity books (papers and crayonsfor kids who visit.
Great food. Great service.
Had some delicacies at this awesome place. It really has an exotic menu with great service.
A good place to enjoy good Chinese and Thai Delicacies. The food tastes good.Tried the Chicken Sweet corn soup and the Tom Kha.The sweetcorn was good and the Tom Kha smelled and tasted of coconut cream. Chicken Satay and mushroom stay were grilled to perfection but the peanut sauce lacked texture and taste. The cream Dimsums and the Chicken dimsums were cooked to perfection. The crispy konji lamb was really crispy and the Thai rolls were average. The massaman curry in main course lacked consistency and flavour although the Noodles and fried rice were great. The fish in Black bean sauce was a bit soggy and over salted. The crispy Ice Cream Rolls were yummy. All in all a.good value for money place to drink and dine.
Great place for a nice and light Chinese meal. The curries are not think with cornflour, which is great. The soups are light and full of flavours. Chicken coriander dumplings are yummy.
This was my first Asian restaurant, so i really donot have a metric to weigh it against other asian restaurants as that would be the right comparison. Though the ambience was good, i found the place extremely congested and awfully loud the later part is not the restaurant at blame. I had a Kee Mau veg, was decent in taste at the best.
Today it was my first visit to the SDA Market outlet and felt it to better in terms of ambience as compared to their outlet in noida, rest the food remains somewhat same more or less. Chi offers a wide variety of Asian food options and I absolutely am a fan. What I had:• Chicken & coriander dumpling: I really love this. Mandatory order! The chicken is filled to the fullest & the layer outside is so delicate that it mostly sticks to the banana leaf on which its kept. I have one complain though the filling all the time is somewhat solid.• Nasi Goreng: It was served with papad kinda thing, crispies maybe, a big heap of fried rice topped with half fried egg and chicken & prawn chunks incorporated together along with two chicken satay sticks and in a gravy . It was a wholesome affair. As I forked the heap of fried rice it broke and scattered everywhere, after seeing the quantity I was quite startled. So it is awesome in terms of both taste and quantity. A must to order. All in all, I love chi.
They will kill you with the wait time before they serve you the order. And it wont end here. The first dish and the last one would be hours apart too! Amazing food! But that service just takes away all the fun outta it.
A very nice place to visit for south east asian cuisine. Fish dishes are wonderful. Had a wonderful experience of a fish cooked warped in a banana leaf. Its something which will taste more organic and different kind of herbal flavour. menu coverage is good and all sort of food can be accessed looking as per ones spicy taste.
Good place for a great lunch or dinners. Very well located, good ambiance and good food. The À la carte menu was good with a lot of optionsFood is served well in time . Staff is amazingly helpful, courteous and always on their toes. We have made it a point that unless we try all the items in the menu, we won’t move on to try another restaurant.Very decent decor, extremely courteous staff and food have always been top class. We order both, veg and non- veg, everyone enjoyed the food . Starters are something we like the most. overall very nice and good value for money as items are priced attractively.
A great fine dining experience, good ambience and service. Their food is good but varies a bit outlet to outlet. If you like coconut flavour soups then the Tom kha soup is a must try. Their dimsums and satays are tasty, if youre into prawns then, prawn hargao! The pricing is not extremely expensive, quite reasonable. Their main course is also good, like the phad thai noodles.
Good food. Decent pricing. Good location. Good service. Although time taken to serve food is a bit too much and if they could work a little more on their decor.
A tad bit on the expensive side, but the food is great and their selection of cocktails and mocktails is amazing. Their service was wonderful too. I tried these really great mocktails called Chi Chewees. They come with some sort of jelly in them - loving it!!! Ended up having 2 - Apple Basil and Ginger Pineapple. I wish I had gone wid a group so that I could try out their dimsum but the food I tried was delicious too! A must-try for any1 in the hauzkhas area.
Had a nice experience. Staff was courteous and friendly and with a nice smile. Food we ordered chicken dimsum and chicken sataya along with prawn sushi. Everything was delicious. Loved it. Will superly go again
Chi Asian cookhouse’s Sunday dim sum buffet is a must try. At INR 1295AI it’s quite value for money. It includes soup, unlimited dim sums, mains, deserts and a drink. The place is not that big I’ll advise to go early. coconut ash ice cream is a must try. Highly recommended
I visited this place last year and since then I cant get enough of it.Mouth watering food, authentic flavours , good service as well as on time delivery with good packaging.Must try-Balinese Fish SatayCrisp Three flavour tofuDrums of heavenPad Thai noodlesValue for money !! Highly recommended.
Food is just ok ok. Staff behaviour is very bad.
Amazing food and great service that defines a restaurant. Loved the place and I can keep coming back anytime for their in house ice cream Coconut Ash Ice cream. Loved the Thai curry and noodles. Had watermelon Kafir it was good too. And soup is outstanding and very good on quantity.
A very nice place in SDA market for asian cuisine. Just Try their spicy chilli oil dumpling.I loved their coconut ash ice cream and buddhas palm mocktail.
We would have left a five star review, if it werent for the way the chef handled feedback. We were asked to fill out a feedback form at the end of our meal, and we commented that the food was great, but that the bibimbap was too oily. The chef then came out and asked us to remove the negative feedback, because the form was going to head office. He claimed that this is the way that they cook the bibimbap, so our feedback was irrelevant. We found this really strange!
This restaurant is violating the law by refusing to withdraw the service charge. The only restaurant/cafe in Delhi that I have visited that refuses to do so. The Supreme Court has said it is up to the customers to decide whether and how much they want to pay. People who care about the law and about making a change should avoid Chi. Given the average quality of its food, it is easily avoided.
Good food and nice ambience
Delhi has too many options for experiencing Chinese cuisine. Chi Kitchen is one of the good ones. Crispy Lamb and Chilli Garlic Noodles are worth trying. The price is a bit on the expensive side, but the food totally makes it worth it. Ardent Chinese food lovers should try it once!
