Rue Talaa Sghira, Fès, Morocco, Fes
Chez Said - Moroccan restaurant in Fes, Morocco
The food and the location are very good
Good portions, nice flavours, central location, helpful and nice service
Menu a 70mad. Salada muito bem servida ou sopa harira. Ambas mto boas.
We had pastilla for dinner. It was quite nice if you are a big fan of the filling. If you are looking for a bit more dough and crunch this is not the spot for you. The location is very cosy and busy. The service was quite poor. The owner of the restaurant was busy doing at least 5 things at the same time. So while we were paying for our dinner he was talking to a neighbor and another customer. No personal attention at all. We were also not really happy about the unexpected service fee at the end (15 Dh).
The best taijne in Fes. Gluten free is possible.
Easily the best meal we have had since our stay in Morocco (and 6 different cities). I asked about a meal that was not on their menu, and not only did he know exactly what I was talking about- he made it happen. The absolute most delicious meal, at a fraction of what other restaurants charge. Down to the smallest details- we dropped the cap from our water, lost it, and he opened a different bottle just to give us a new cap. The service was outstanding. Our only disappointment is not discovering this place sooner- we would eat here every day.
We ate here as a family. The food took a decent amount of time to come. We ordered a lamb tagine and a kofta tagine. Both were nice but the kofta tagine was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Yummy, flavorful food, friendly owner & perfect for people watching! Great price and value, I ate there twice! Thank you so much :)
Mangiato benissimo e speso pochissimo...tajine acqua coca caffè e frutta 65 dirham...niente...consigliatissimo
In a touristy area (by Bab Bou Jeloud or Blue Gatebut not a tourist trap. local specialties at very reasonable prices. the brochettes with rice (40dhis a must-order, tasty beef skewers with proper char and dripping meat jus. vegetarian options too. it’s a great place to watch the hustle and bustle throughout the day. charming restaurant owner who even welcomed us with a delicious home-cooked lentil soup during ftour, as well as the usual bread and olives, and trusted us to bring him back change another day when we didn’t have any
Yemekleri gerçekten yorumlardaki kadar iddialı. Ortam harika.
Here you can drink the best marocain teas <3
USD 5 per plate, nice tea,
No real value for money. Better to go round the corner.
Very good restaurant if you want have a nice traditional meal and cheaper. Food is well cooked, tasty, traditional, staff is friendly, recommended!
We are here at default as the place next to it was closed, but we were really glad it was. The food was delicious, the best royal cous cous and lamb kofta we have had. Good prices and friendly service, we ended up coming back for dinner and the other meals were just as good. Highly recommend.
5 stars for the taste, location, and good service. near to the blue gate..full view of the merriment of the medina in front of restaurant. Tried the lamb chops, very juicy and tender, full of flavour. The chicken skewer is nice and tender too. Chips are freshly chopped potatoes and not the frozen ones. And the rice is just nice. We Came for lunch, but went back for dinner for the lambchops! Price is cheap at 40DHM for the dish considering its a tourist spot.
Said is one of the best restaurant in Boujloud. Simple food, but tasty and rightly priced. Start with lentil soup is a must and complimentary. What else you want?
I normally dont write reviews, so Im writing this in hopes that it will help another fellow travellers find a taste of Morocco they can be proud of. This is the only place you should try the tajine kefta in Morocco (of the touristy locations I travelled to). It had the most balanced delicious flavour for a decent price. The other 5 places I tried had too much cumin, poorly developed sauce or not seasoned well.
It’s ok. The chicken skewers were surprisingly tasty and juicy and the fries seemed to be actually chopped fresh potatoes. The rice was just ok and the lamb chops were very tiny and mostly bones. The Harira soup offered as a starter was one of the nicest I had so far and it was complimentary which makes It taste better I guess. We had to ask for a breakdown of the bill as there was an extra charge we couldn’t recall, and in fact they have added something “by mistake”,you can never put your guard down in Morocco! Mint tea weirdly came from a shop next door and in a big cup, was nice but very very sweet.
Nice location. Good food
Its ok at best. Reasonable service, cheapish prices. Good for people watching. Touristy and with a plain menu of some grilled meats with rice and chips which were reasonably tasty. Wasnt too pleased about them randomly adding a service charge onto the end, but at this stage of Morocco were used to these random things appearing. Lentil soup was a nice complimentary touch.
Great food, the service is not the best and the prices are alright.
nice riad
Super leckeres, traditionelles Essen!
Bravi
Humm!! So tasty.... Ill be back
Really good food at a reasonable price like many of the other restaurants in the area.
Decent food for a good price. Like every place here you are served once unless you ask for more. Nice to see all the people walking by, lovely for crowdwatching
Had a great lunch for a very good price! 4-5 drinks and 2 maincourses. Around €15,-!
Food was delicious. We ordered the beef skewer and Tajine with meatballs and egg, mint tea for 2. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
