Chez Flore in Brazzaville

First of all, I read the reviews and most of them are really accurate. I ordered smoked chicken and to be honest, what I was served was nothing like what I expected, the chicken was really hard to chew. Our order took about 2 hours for them to serve the food. Horrible service. And I dont even have to mention how far from hygienic the restrooms were. This place needs to improve in many areas. I am going home very disappointed

Malgré les commentaires sur la lenteur, nous n’avons pas attendu longtemps pour la nourriture. Nous étions pourtant un gros groupe et le restaurant était bondé. Je vous conseille fortement par contre de bien vous rappeler de ce que vous commander et garder les bouteilles de sucre et de bière vide à votre table pour pouvoir les compter a la fin car ils rajoutent des items sur les factures et augmentent les quantités !

One of the highly recommended local menu restaurants in Kinshasa. It’s not far from the city center and located at a safe place. They serve food under hygienic conditions. A great place to taste local Kinshasa food.

A place with a very nice atmosphere. A lot of locals come to there with their children so it is a very family friendly place.The service is rather slow but functional.Definitely not the place for vegetarians but if you are a pescatarian you will have a lot of food options. The dishes are rather big.

Chez Flore is one the best restaurants in Kinshasa that serves authentic Congolese food from fish dishes to chicken dishes to greens and so much more. Lovers of fried plantain can go there too. However if you want quick service go there early especially on weekends and public holidays because it fills up quickly. But overall beautiful environment. If you are looking for some local food and meeting lovers of local food, Chez Flore is the place to go. All walks of life catered for superbly🤝

The food is very delicious Congolese Cuisine. A bit pricey at about $35/plate, but this is lots of food that can not be eaten by one person. It has to be shared.

A very good Congolese restaurant with a variety of local dishes. You can get a pretty good idea of what Congoleses food is all about. My 5 star rating is based on comparing this place to all others in the same category. Do if you want Congolese food, go there.

Chez Flore is a really nice place in Kinshasa. Nice garden and gazebos, the food is delicious. Good service although on weekends when its busy, it takes some time to get the food. The fish liboke was delicious

Lovely local meals. Ish is that is not a place for one person.. They serve the food in huge quantities and portions so if u go alone, you would have to pack more than half the food home.

Nothing new

Nice place to have a traditional meal in Kinshasa, well placed near the town center, with good car access but a limited parking space. Several national dishes are available on the menu, all with good quality. Service is also good. For an open air restaurant it has very comfortable shades, provided by a lot of trees.

This is indeed the best places for Congolese food. i ate a big fish with two others person and it was delicious. The service is a bit slow and the person serving us was not polite. but beside that it was great.

Local food place in Kinshasa

This is one of the few places in kinshasa where you eat real local food. Note that Flore serves a LOT of food portions. So order 1 portion for 2 people, otherwise ask for take away if there is remaining food.

Jai été invitée par des amis à dîner chez Flore. Ce fut une agréable surprise, bon pas tant dans la décoration car cest un ensemble de paillote un peu hétéroclite, à la décoration sommaire avec des chaises en plastique de couleur verte. Côté ambiance, elle est bonne enfant, des Congolais, des expatriés...dans une bonne humeur...La bonne surprise est dans lassiette, de très bonnes proportions, et surtout cest super bon.Le pundu, les Fumbwa, les chigwangues, le maboké de Ngulu...Bref tout est super bon. Le délai de cuisson, est raisonnable, on attend en buvant un coktail de fruits, de la bière ou du vin. Je recommande ce restaurant. Jai passé une très bonne soirée.
