Chevron Hotel - in Masvingo, Zimbabwe
Its hell to access the entrance, the rooms are too old and have this musty smell, the whole place is in dire need for a huge renovation.
World class though they can improve
It is a very beautiful place and the staff is very friendly...but they need to spray mosquito π¦in their rooms. But every is lacka...
A super tasty quality service delivering Hotel
A nice place lwish to be again
Courteous staff but a dingy place!
It was a dream come after my father told me about this place when I was a little boy and finally visited it to witness myself, the atmosphere is good at Chevron I really like the place.
This is a disgusting place, Poor service, incompetent, arrogant stuff, poor food quality. I even picked human hair in my plate.
Everything was just excellent π
It was really a good time, visiting such a place
Need to improve a lot of things
Noisy, the whole night
Cool and Amazing...ππ―
Its just fine for sleepovers but not that classy
Great hotel... I loved it
They are overpriced for the standard. Rooms need major upliftment. Sagging ceilings and stained bathtubs do not help matters. The housekeeping staff do their best, but still...
... the place is so fantastic and too refreshing
Just need a twerk so that it keep up with the market changes.
the place is quite good but it seems the rooms have been negleted for a long time. doors not locking, no plugs for electrical gadgets, poor or no morden televisions. no remote for the few television sets in rooms
Chevron hotel is a quality hotel with good hospitality and the food is very delicious
Room for improvement but one of best fascilities in Masvingo Urban
Spacious, secure parking, and dedicated staff
Poor service delivery, there is no air-conditioners to adress the temperature conditions...
The hotel is strategically positioned in town if one is not mobile. Very secure car park. Rooms need to be improved. They dont have air conditioning.
The town of Masvingo has a lot of history that is still in fair condition, a city guide is what I hoped to get for an awesome experience. The hotel is something I would rather not talk about.
I loved the service right from the entrance.. The perfect place to spent your night in masvingo
Smart and luxurious. Very romantic rooms. Secure parking and wheelchair facilities. A nice bar and restaurant. Delicious food. Superb room services
Great service but you need to work on your milkshakes ..
Best resort in town. Good food. Good town and river view. Excellent services
It was OK. I had no problem. The workers are friendly and ready to help
do the town a favour: tear it down. The well trained staff deserves a much better place to work at
Gud venue for meetings n the food is quite good.
Good service though there is a lot of noise from trucks along the highway
The place has lost its glitter it is now a pale shadow of its former self.
The rooms are clean, have airconditioners and are comfortable. Televisions are in the rooms although most hotels do not have full DSTV ever since reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic. There are sufficient toiletries and the breakfast is a full house. The hotel staff will wash your car and you can advise what time the car should be ready and clean at no extra cost. Wi-Fi is also available.
Really lovely place to crush ... roooms pretty much are the same in design even the presidential suite isnt any diffrent
All the good things aside, had heard a lot about Chevron Hotel but they forgot to mention that I wasnβt going to find running water. π
The hotel standards are good particularly on catering. The duty manager will move around each table asking comments on how each customer has been treated. The rooms are still OK.The wheel chair access entrance is well situated. Town area within a stones throw from the hotel balconies. You can a stroll in park area where the are some old artifacts ,reminscent of the colonial era when civilisation was still being inscribed on stones.Well rooms are also noise during most of the day because of the Highway to beitbridge which passes by.There are Banks nearby, filling station, market square for those that love to buy clothes.Otherwise this is the coolest place to be with family or just for business.
Hotel standards have rapidly declined. Breakfast serving ends too early and there is no running water. Rooms are infested with mosquitoes. Little options for entertainment. Highly priced for services that do not match pricing.
History laid hereI give 3/5Simple view and cool outside sitting overlooking the service station.Very strong WIFI connection.A treasure
Its one of the oldest hotels in Masvingo but still retains its elegant and flamboyant look. Its a good place to book accommodation if you are in Masvingo. Their meals are fair with quite a good number of traditional Zimbabwean meals.
The rooms need renovations. Definitely over priced for the quality of service offered. Wifi was great though. The place is falling apart.
the service delivery needs improvement. No air conditioning in some rooms and infested with mosquitoes. The place needs renovations most facilities are showing their age
The standards are poor. Rooms need to be renovated. Rooms are gloomy. They serve breakfast which is stale and the chef cooks bad food. They do not clean the rooms properly and the rooms smell like cheap hotels. They need to up their game
Had a wonderful experience though there is need for room upgrade to meet the current prevailing standards.
Wi-Fi was excellent... no showers in double room - tub only, had to buy extra drinking water for room, horrible breakfast... overpriced for the service we received
Well organised hotel with good sanity. There is provision of food types including traditional ones ,rooms are well furnished
WiFi was poor, equipment in the hotel rooms are aged. If you dont wake up early you wont have hot water to bath
Not so bad. Rooms renovated. You have to improve on services though. It was a week well spend.
there is a need for some improvement on the rooms. a little bit of some modern furniture would spruce the space up. loved the bar though and God service from the employees there
