Has a cool “hole-in-the-wall” vibe. Their tap list was small when I went but they were all good beers, and while small, the tap room is cozy and cool. If you’re doing a brewery tour of Morgantown I’d defiantly suggest this as a stop.

My favorite local brewery. Great people, great beer. The owner, Bill, is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, we have had many great conversations over the years. No one is a stranger here. It’s not giant but packs a big punch :highly recommend if you haven’t been! Try the Halleck beer

Killer brews & such a laid back establishment. Have never had a beer I didnt like from here, and Im always eager to see what kind of new beers theyre making. Excited to stop in, sit down, and chat with everyone there soon!

They make excellent beer (which you can also find at other places in the areaand the atmosphere of the taproom is cool. Only 4 stars though because the taproom itself is small and the parking lot is smaller. It is a great place to have a pint and fill up a growler, though. Love this brewery

Chestnut Brew Works is a small taproom located in a neighborhood in Morgantown WV. It has three tables and the bar. What they are missing in size, they have in flavor in their beer.They do not offer flights, but were willing to allow me to try a couple of the beers before I ordered. The funny thing is that they brought the samples out in the glasses you need to offer a flight, so it seems like it could be done.I had a glass of the No Good Deed Strawberry Milkshake beer. It was hoppy like an IPA but they add some lactose to the beer to give it a slight creaminess.

This is our favorite local brewery. Small taproom, friendly bartenders, and great beer. They do growler fills and sell some beers by the bottle. Not a huge food menu, but they encourage bringing outside food or ordering in. Its a mandatory stop for anyone visiting us from out of town!

Great local neighborhood brewery! Small and friendly atmosphere, just a little bit off the beaten path from Downtown. This is right up there for me with the Apothecary as the best place for a beer in town!

Great place: small, freindly, intended to be a place where you mingle. ..and try their awsome beers. Maybe the best beer they ever made so far -the MoBel (Morgantown Belgium)- is a amber-like, smooth, easily drinkable, full of subtlety, strong beer.
