Chester's Chicken in Barstow

When you buy chicken from this place (specially to go orderscheck the box, make sure it’s all cooked that day. On July 5th I ordered 6 chicken tenders, I grabbed the box and got out of there. When I opened it to eat, 3 of the 6 tenders were at least from the day before. Because they were dry and hard to bite. You think you can trust people. Im never going back to that location again.

Staff is very friendly, professional, honest, courteous and helpful. Great food and prices.

Delicious fried juicy chicken. Seems weird but really good fried corn. Best biscuit dipped into their own butter sauce

Nice and clean, Chicken is off the chart. It depends on your age, there livers, and gizzards very good.

California cool but Chester chicken was hot and fresh. Watch and cook it right in front of me. What I was told best time to go lunch time.

They are so understaffed and depends on what you order, it can be a wait which is fine.I’m just here for chicken gizzards and nothing else.

Very tasty chicken, but my husband wanted a wings only and they didnt offer that at this restaurant.

Terrible chicken. No taste and when I asked if it was fresh, the employee just shrugged her shoulders and said, "I dont know" in an uncaring manor. It was dirty with food stains and portions of foods were mixed with other foods. Avoid chesters chicken at all costs.

Pieces were smaller pricier too but not bad

They are always delicious. Fast, friendly and fresh crispy fried chicken.And those jalapenos ... I always buy extra.

Always have liked Chesters Chicken but this location on Lenwood road Barstow is the best one. Fresh chicken, buttery biscuits, great mashed potatoes and gravy. I highly recommend this place. The young man that took my order was friendly and has great customer service. Just got done with my meal and very satisfied. Keep up the good work!

friendly staff, food was ok, didnt have mashed potatoes and they wasnt busy and chicken needed to be cooked more, what they need is better management

I know Im hard on places, when they deserve it, but I also like to reconize outstanding customer service. Stopped in here 11/26/19 around 18:30 and couldnt believe the customer service, and outstanding attitude of an employee named Shane. His total commitment to helping, his patience, service with a smile, and taking the time to sincerely thank Veterans was amazingly honest, heartfelt, and refreshing. I will be following this up with a call to coporate. This is a sadly missing, and MUCH APPRECIATED rare find in cust service today. WAY TO GO SHANE !

3 piece dark turned out to be black and greasy it had been refried one piece had fried blood all the way thru never to return

Yummy this place has such great food out priced shopper reasonably not to mention its always fresh. I love the food here specially their gizzards are delicious.highly recommend going there its great.

Horrible place when it comes to health and safety. When I worked there before, there was a mold problem in the back where "clean" dishes were stored. No one ever bothered to do anything about it and not sure if they ever did. Yuck!

My family and I just came in to this chicken spot and not only is the food amazing but we got the best service in the whole world from Kenny he was amazing with me and even more amazing with my children I highly recommend this spot

On our way back from Vegas our bus broke down at Chesters all I can say is thank God. Amazing fried chicken and my favourite was the biscuits. We travelled from Australia and the food was awesome the staff super friendly. Thanks guys x

Chicken strips are bland and they need more seasoning. Biscuits are whatever. Get some Red Rooster hot sauce 😊

Its a Loves truck stop. If you dont expect much from them you wont be disappointed.

The food was hot and well cook, like eating at Chester.

The manager told me to get out of his line because they had nothing ready and no one behind me told him I was waiting to till they had what I wanted and he still inserted I leave

They are good if you get it when they first cook it and it is hot

The food is great and the workers are so nice and helpful. If youre not satisfied with anything they go out of their way to take care of you.

Extremely disappointed in this Chesters. While I understand restaurants run out of things but to not have ANY of your main side dishes available is ridiculous. This is clearly something you should tell the customer when they order so you do not have to toss the rest of the meal you just boxed up when they cancel.I was very nice about it but since you could or would not offer a solution I had to take my business next door. I stay at this loves at least a couple of times a month but will not be going back to Chesters.

There is no consistency here. One place will have food thats never rushed, crispy and juicy. The next week have a kid that rushed the chicken out of the fryer raw & rubbery with no crispness. Come one Chester

My husband is a truck driver. And Im sorry this is the wrost chicken ever. They had enough chicken to feed least 30 or more people cooked up. No lines empty place. We were hungry and down for the night. The meal was extremely greasy.Imagine when you put food in grease to early and it soaks up grease. The box looked as if it was dipped in grease. I had sat it on the bunk and it started to drip when I pick it up. We ate some but couldnt take it. In the next few hours we both were vomiting the whole nine yards. We hadnt eaten anything all day but a bag of chips soda and bottled water. Never again. None of them. Really no stars

Come to this place all the time. Food is good always fresh but wish they would keep up with restocking because they are always out of sides and biscuits. Also they need to bring back the honey garlic sauce. Staff are very friendly.

Overpriced and dry... from now on KFC only
