Cherry Creek Grill in Sioux Falls

Service is great. Certain items on menu are phenomenal some not so much. The salads are divine. I would not recommend the club sandwich or anything made with toast. They toast the bread so hard it immediately crumbles making it difficult to eat your order. Also they dont put much meat on it . Until that improves I wouldnt order the club it tell whomever go easy with the toaster. Otherwise happy dining. Would recommend just not the club.

Very good food with friendly staff. Outdoor seating for your dog as well. Jared behind the bar was very friendly and always takes really good care of his guests!

Best Long Island Iced Teas in town! This is a family favorite place, as they have great food, friendly staff and did I mention the Long Islands! Give em shot if ya havent!

Loved the food and our waitress. First time there, but wont be our last. This place has something for everyone for sure. Seafood pasta and florentine flatbread.

I dont like the newer fries and the food just isnt as good as it used to be. The male server we had in the bar was great though.

I would rate my dinner a 5 if I had the steak tips. My husband had those and they were great. I ordered a "Summer Salad" which should have been called a winter salad. I dont consider myslef picky but I was unhappy. The salad consisted of "canned pineapple and canned mandarin oranges" on "large cut" iceberg lettuce. No green lettuce at all. Lettuce was completely white. The grilled chicken was actually char broiled with extra liquid smoke so it tasted burnt. The poppyseed dressing was nothing special....just an overly sweet dressing.

Rueben sandwich with sweet potato fries, split for 2. Served hot, delicious with just the right amount of sauce and kraut as well as tasty meat. The sweet potato fries were just the right degree of crispy. Haven’t eaten here in years but will definitely be back

Susanna was my waitress today. She brought me the best chili I’ve had all day and she was so kind. I will definitely be returning soon!

So disappointed, my husband are from out of state, saw they had walleye so decided to come here for dinner tonight. Walleye was really greasy, seafood angel pasta was runny. We just wanted a good quiet dinner after being in a car for 24 hours. We were seated at the bar side and several young employees were visiting at the bar. They were VERY loud throughout our entire dinner. One of them was braiding another girls hair at the bar. That was the nail in the coffin for me, neither of us finished our dinner. Paid our bill and left.

Food was good as well as the wait staff. Did have a very loud and exuberant group of college kids in the next booth. Think they may have forgotten they were indoors. They did leave before the food arrived so it got better.

Decent (but not outstandingfood and service. Offering typical pub food (appetizers, steaks, burgers, salads). The bar has a decent selection of beers and cocktails. The place is clean, nicely kept, easy to get to with good parking.

I had the ribs. Plenty of meat on the half rack with good flavor. Also had the fire roasted chicken noodle soup which was delicious. Service was good.

The service was great and so was the food. We had potatoe skins, The Ribs and chicken parm.

I ordered fish filets...they came coated and fried to a crisp..no good. And sweet potato fries overly deep fried. Terreble

What a disappointment! Beautiful atmosphere. Pleasant hostess. They need to replace the wait staff. I had a high school boy who is afraid to talk to strangers get my drink. Then an experienced server took my order. When my club sandwich arrived, he ran away before I could ask for silverware. Then everyone disappeared. I walked to the bar to get a refill. The food was ok but the entire experience made me lose my appetite.

Unfortunately my 1st experience here was lackluster. I came with a friend for lunch. The server wasnt familiar with the menu, maybe she was new but it shows lack of training. My friend ordered a soup for appetizer & asked it to be served first. After a lengthy wait...our food all came out at once. She had no spoon for soup & had to ask 3x...then soup was cold. We both ordered fries, neither of us got them. I ordered fried shrimp with cocktail sauce, no sauce came. It was just not a good meal all around. Doubt Ill return.

The cowboy chimi was very scrumptious I would definitely order agian when I went I had a chicken one cant wait to try the beef hope you enjoy go get yourself a chimi right now

We had the hot beef. The meat was stringy, cold and tasted awful. The waitress gave us one small cocktail napkin and brought us the last two clean forks in the whole restaurant. The worst experience Ive there and so disappointed that Im not planning on going back.

We went and ate supper here and.. Im not sure if the salsa is homemade but, delicious! Its like a pickle salsa maybe? So good! The flat bread BBQ chicken ranch with pineapple also so good! I had the chicken taco salad and the tortilla bowl again...delicious! The reason only 4 stars is because they were out of most of their deserts. :( Also ordered chicken parm to take home and was told it was also very good! Trevor was our server and he did a great job! Not too pushy but not too stand off ish. We will be back!!

Great! Its like TC Referre but for the east side. So good. Get the blue cheese dressing! It makes me like blue cheese dressing. But just theirs. The dinner rolls a better at Cherry Creek than TCs.

The ribs here were not good at all. The meat was very tough and hard to get off the bone (They were hard to cut apart too). The flavor of the meat was bad. The sauce was decent, but it didnt fix the issue of the poor meat and cooking quality. Also, the salad I got had a lot of old pieces of lettuce in it and was pretty blah.

They have a wide selection of items. The food turned out really good. And the waiter we had was awesome. Love the whole experience.

This was our first time there. We ordered an appetizer and food. After we had waited for almost going on 2 hours they come out and said that something was wrong with one of their ovens in the back so they were blaming it on something. Then when they brought our food out my food was cold my daughters food was cold. Service was terrible they never even tried to see what was going on with our food until we ask. The manager said that they were going to take the appetizer off and half of our meal. And then when I told the manager that we were not going to pay for nothing she gave me a look like how dare I say that I dont know even know why they expected me to pay for food that was cold and then waiting for 2 hours. This was our first time and last never going back there again I would not recommend it to anyone I would rather put food in a dish and eat out in the backyard

Amazing food as always. The service was even better!!! Although our food took a little longer than usual (we didnt mind), she made sure she was checking on us and keeping those drinks full! Her name is Madilyn and literally the best server we ever had there!! Best service we have had in a long time!!!

I always love going here, they have a full bar, plenty of seating, great atmosphere, they even have a downstairs area to rent for special occasions, i give it a thumbs up 👍.

Im sorry but always had good service at cherry creek, but I dont blame the servers! The food came out cold after waiting half hour to get seated witch is understandable, bit food coming to table cold and plates hotter than the food?

The service was very slow. It took 45 minutes just to put our order in almost an hour to get our meals. We had burgers and fries. When we 1st got there they were not that busy. The burgers were over cooked, fries were cold and the side of mayo was never delivered. No refills were given and we had to ask for the bill after sitting and trying to flag our server down for another 25 minutes. This was our 1st really bad experience at Cherry Creek.

Went tonight and had a very dissapointing experience. We have been going to Cherry Creek for many years as a favorite place. We were there tonight for over two hours. Took 20 min before we first got talked to by waiter. Drinks took at least that long. Appitizer of chislic took 40 minutes to arrive. when we got our food my sons steak just didnt come. They were out. We cancelled it. My wifes meal the fish was bad. The waiter took my CC at the end to pay then brought the bill out without it and the bill was not correct for what we recieved, had to recalculated. Very very disappointing. Sorry.

By far the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. We were there two hours. Were asked 3 times what we ordered. Drinks were 30 minutes to come out. Food came out wrong and the correct order was cold. Cherry Creek used to be our go to but after reading reviews and our experience we won’t be back.

I absolutely love it, i go there at nite when the cook by the name of mark is there!!! His cooking is always absolutely mouthwatering delicious and his plate presentation is always on point they he takes the time to make sure it looks nice and its never a disappointment….He must know that we eat with our eyes before our mouths.

Told waitress at beginning bday celebration, forgot our rolls, pasta came out looking like soup, waited a good 20 before before we had to stop someone else to take our card, still no desert, brought out desert same time as payment was taken overall 2 1/2 hrs no good

Food was very good. Had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The waitress made it right and gave us free desserts and appetizers and apologized for the wait. Friend said his bone in wings tasted like they had been warmed back up in a microwave. I think this place is short staffed like most other places. Would be back and give them another shot.

Where do I even start. Sat here for 25 minutes. Never got the appetizer. Took 25 minutes to get my drink while everybody else got theirs. Then the food comes out with the salads and they dont even give silverware. Overall the worst experience ever. Id put you guys on the same level as Wendys. Overall terrible. Oh and the top it all off. They never even brought out the appetizer. Good job guys!!!!

Waited an hour for my grandmas birthday lunch. For basic chicken strips in a not even half full business. My meal was supposed to be country fried chicken breast but was clumps of chicken tenders burnt, bun completely burnt, the potatoes were a yellow and white gravy pile of vomit mush nothing resembling mashed potatoes was literally slipping through the fork how liquid heavy they were. I think whoever is in the kitchen should be replaced if they cant do this very basic cooking and in a timely matter. Our server was a nice guy so Im not going to hurt him by not leaving a tip but I did make sure he knew that it was very unacceptable service. However, we did have to wait almost 10 minutes for him to get the check because the manager had to take that meal off; the manager never once came to talk to us or to see what the issues with the meals were which was in my view very unprofessional. Very disappointed wait an hour for lunch and only 1 meal can be considered a meal.

Ate at this restaurant for the very first time on 10-16-2021. My wife and I waited 20 minutes for seating which is acceptable as others were also waiting. We were handed menus by the hostess in a timely manner. It took us about 5 minutes to determine what entre my wife and I each wanted. However, several waiters were zipping back and forth in front of our booth, and they ignored us like we were not even there. After at least 15, maybe 20 minutes of this, I finally got up, and notified the hostess of the situation. The manager is the one who actually came over to our table and took down our order. We each had salads, but had to flag down a waiter to have silverware brought to our table after discovering we had none. I ordered a baked potato with my entre, but when my dish was brought to my table, found French fries lying on it instead. Ridiculous. We were hungry, and we were not going to raise a fuss. By that time, we had already agreed we were NOT going to leave a tip. When we were finally ready to leave, we waited another 10-15 minutes for someone to drop off our check. When no one did, we walked over to the hostess at the check out, and again had to bother her to inform her we were ready to leave, but had not yet received our check. Another waiting period of 5 minutes. Finally paid and left, but we will not EVER return. A very negative dining experience here!!P.S. With a few fries I left on my plate, I spelled out the words, "NO TIP!" on my dish, and circled it with catsup before we up and walked away. Hopefully this very poor dining option got the hint.

Had a terrible experience last night.. we were sat, place was pretty full. Waiter took drink order.. ordered a tall tap with olives and a soda. No olives and mug was dirty. Waiter said u may want to order asap food is about 30 to 40 min wait. Rushed our choices.. never saw our first Waiter again to advise on dirty mug and no olives. 40 mins later a new server asks if we need anything at this point beer was warm and still no food. We waited another 20 mins. New server came over asked if food was even started. She said no.. asked for bill. And cancel food. not even an offer to comp. Left hungry and will not return.

Look this review is ONLY getting 5 stars because of Chad. We got random amazing luck and got Chad as our server (we didn’t even realize till after that he is the shinning gem here). He was attentive and on the ball. Neither one of us had an empty cup at any point, and he gave an amazing supper suggesting to my girlfriend. She said the Cajun chicken sandwich is one of the best she’s had in a very long time.Now owners please pay attention here. Your food is good but it’s not out of this world. The pricing is a little high for the quality. $22 for a 12 oz ribeye is a bit on the high side.We wouldn’t come back for the food but we will because of Chad. ❤️ keep being awesome Chad. ❤️

It had been awhile since we had gotten take out from Cherry Creek. Decided to order the fish since it was Friday. Was very disappointed in the food quality. The fish pieces were small, tasted like they came from a freezer, and instead of a pesto based sauce they used plain tartar sauce. The children’s cheeseburger was half the size of the bun. At least the salads were ok.Will probably be awhile for another visit.

The food is always good. The waiter that closes several nights per week is an absolute gem. He brings the best service and charisma in town, and that is saying a lot. We have several excellent spots in this city, but this young man separates this place from the rest in the evenings. I am telling you, give this place your business and, if you get him, you will see exactly what I am talking about. The food has always been very good. His service and commitment to excellence is the difference.

Wow! They really did a wonderful job of renovating. Food was good. Decent beer selection. Only feedback I have is that there were 5 or 6 of the same type of beer on tap. Maybe fill in some more local beers in. Definitely plan to return here otherwise.

They were very short staffed. Our server did her best, have to give her a lot of credit. There were at least 4 busboys but only 2 servers for a full house. They continually were apologizing to every table as the kitchen was very backed up.My husband had the Cajun chicken linguine. It was barely seasoned with a lot of parmesan cheese. It was very, very greasy. The picture shows how much cheap oil that was left in the bowl. There was a lot of chicken in the dish. The Alfredo was not at all creamy just oily.I ordered the chicken Nachos got beef sent them back. Once it got back to the table it was hard to tell there was chicken in it. The menu stated grilled chicken. There was about 2 Tablespoons of pureed chicken in chili sauce,in the center of the Nachos covered with melted cheese and a lot of jalapenos. Not a fan. I asked for sour cream & got it after we were done.Not in a hurry to go back.

What a nice find. The salads we had for lunch were excellent. Most offered in your choice of a half salad. The smaller portion is appreciated by this reviewer. The waitress was attentive without being invasive. A friend brought me here for lunch and we had some catching up on each others lives to do. Our glasses were kept full and we were not rushed at all. And social distancing was being carefully implemented by not seating any two parties close together. Will definitely return when in the area.

Good food as always, good atmosphere, waiter wasnt bad but a bit slow. Boyfriend had one of their Sunday specials & we both liked it. My Country Fried Steak was good. They werent shy with the mashed potatoes, but I missed having another veggie/side, though the dinner roll was divine!! A place Ive always enjoyed eating.

Cherry Creek Grill is part of the T C Referee family. Both establishments offer a consistent, quality dining experience and a Cheers type atmosphere. Odds are very good you will see at least a few people you know.

Weve been back again and never disappointed. We love supporting local and decided to feature them on my website. Our waitress (wish wed gotten her namewas fantastic and definitely a plus in making our outing enjoyable. The food was outstanding and well be back. We recommend eating here; the portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the character of the establishment is warm and friendly.
